I have been prescribed Pantium 40 (twice daily for 5 days) along with Phexin to treat some skin infection. I am presently in 14 weeks of pregnancy. My question is that is it safe during pregnancy? Iam using this medicine for last 2.5 years when I take this medicine once a day i feel comfortable through out the day. if i dont take i am not able to eat even boiled food. my doctor says you must not take this medicine more than 30 days but my specilist says you may take it for unlimited period I am cnfused I want suggestions what should I do ## It is normally prescribed for just 30days, as most people with acid or ulcer problems will heal up by then, however, it can be safely taken for longer, if necessary. I am suffering from mild pain at the time of defecating. it seems there has been an ulcer in my rectum. Daflon 500 was prescribed by a doctor to a family member in a similar case.
