Trouble With Getting A Suboxone Prescrption! (Page 6)

Hi All, My name is Amy. I was addicted to oxy's for seven years and then herion for 2 years. I live in Pa. I got on methadone and it really helped. I was on methadone for 7 years. I got off of it in Dec. 2008. I decreased very slowly from 80mgs to one mg. I thought i was gonna be fine, my counselor led me to believe I wouldnt have bad withdrawls, well 2 days after I felt HORRIBLE! I was in bad withdrawl. I bought suboxone from a friend. It worked a miracle! See I dont think a suboxone doctor will see me, first because I am not using oxys or heroin, second I suffer from P.T.S.D, depression, aniexty and severe panic attacks. I see a psyciatrist and thereapist. I am on klonopin, xanax, and effexor. I was told that I can not go to a suboxone doctor because I am on these medications. So I am in a hard spot. Because I do not have a sub. doctor and have trouble finding them I relapsed on herion on May 2, 2009. I actually Over dossed and almost died. I just dont know what to do, I definately do not want to get back on the methadone. Does anyone have any advice or live in Pennsylvania and know the laws about being on suboxone and anxiety meds.? I do not get high from the suboxone, it gives me some energy and lets me be normal, no cravings,I feel great. It just really sucks that I can not get a prescription for suboxone. Does anyone have a similar problem or does anyone know of anything I can do so I can get a prescription for suboxone. I see all this online stuff, but can i trust it? it says u can buy suboxone online. Is this true? Sorry this is so long, I am just confused and worried. I do not want to ever relapse again. Thanks for saying that. I don't think people realize that you need to go to a suboxone doctor . All the do tors I've ever gone to where there at a suboxone clinic for suboxone.. Good look every one .i was on pills for years and then heroine for many more. And now suboxone for almost 3 . My insurance ran out and with my last 2 8 mg subs I tapered down from 2 milligrams to a half mili gram. It was hard but these are the easiest withdrawals I've ever dealt with. And wen I started I was on 3 subs a day.... Use to shoot alota dope.... But idk depending on hone siboxone is great.. Untill ur insuruance runs out or the pharmacy dosent have any all the time.. Then your just back in the same boat....

where woild I found a MD who writes for suboxone Im so ready to come off my Diluadid8mg percocet10mg i must use 190 tables if I'm luck .I can make them last 3 weeks. I have heard of this Suboxone and would if this could save my life.

I could use advice as well. I got on Suboxone this past August. I am prescribed 16mg's per day (2 - 8mg strips). My monthly visit is next Tuesday 2/18 and my script is due to be filled that following Saturday 2/22. My problem that my oldest son stole the balance of my script last night. He is 19 and struggles with opiate and pot abuse. I have tried to get him to get help more times than I can count. The 2 times he agreed to get help, it didn't work because he wouldn't stop using. He lives with his mom because he says my rules for living with me are too strict. He stayed here the past 3 nights because the furnace at his mom's went out. Now, I have nothing left until I get my new scipt in 10 or so days. I don't what to do. I've ready withdraw on 16mg per day of suboxone will be absolutely horrible. I'm scared to call my doc about what happened in fear he won't care or may not be willing to help me. Any ideas or suggestions??????? I've thought about hitting the street to look for some, but I'm 43 and wouldn't have a clue where to even start to look....plus, I really do not want to go to jail over something my son did.

Hey I had same problem,I was with Dr for 3 years started at 16, then in the last year he started dropping first 12, then 10, finally 8, I told him I was having a horrible time,so that next month when he hit 4mg I already had another appointment with new doctor.so he gave me 28 8mg I got to take 12 till new appointment,where I decided too stay at 12.but yes you need to switch if you are not ready,but play it safe where you get script from Dr you see now until new appointment .hey good luck

I feel you Tammy. People have scammed so many and myself. Take you're money knowing how hard times are. I'm a mother that begs for help and honesty and got Nothing but thieves who took my money and go. Please someone has to be out here to help us. We aren't thieves or low class cause we admit we have a problem. There are judges out there addicted to worse we are just honest about or self and the addiction. Just trashy people pretends to care and help to get you're money. Pleases God bless us all with someone honest and legit

Need help. I dont know what to do. Just read all these comments and have a question myself. I currently see a dr for suboxone treatment and have been on it for just over a year now. However my dr is dropping my dose drastically every 2 months and I know I am not ready to be dropped to 2mg yet. I have begged my dr not to drop me down and she tells me its whats best for me. She doesn't ask how I'm feeling or adjusting to the new dropped dose. So I find myself running short every month. Can anyone please give me some advice on what I can do. I dont want to relapse and haven't since ive been on treatment. Can I transfer to another sub dr? Thankyou in advance.

Hi, I saw your post where you responded to the lady about how to obtain suboxone. I could really use that information if you're willing to give it to me... I've been on pain pills for seven years, and I desperately want to stop. I've tried so many times, but I don't think I can quit without some help. I don't have insurance and I live in a rural area in Arkansas. I doubt any doctor around here will give it to me. Please help me. I so appreciate your time.

That is totally untrue that u can't be on psychiatric meds and be on suboxone.i have been on suboxone 5 years started at 16 now down to 8.but my psychiatrist can't prescribe it but family Dr can. they both talk to each other about my meds. I Am on sub 8 mg,klonopin 1mg three times a day,Zoloft 50mg,vyvanse 50 mg,also seroquel 75mg as needed for sleep. im also on keppra 1500 for epilepsy and butalbutal, caffeine, Tylenol, or fieoricet, for migraines from neurologists. they all cooperate together. now I will say some suboxone doctors don't like it,and some want,but you have the right to be treated for other issues as well as opiate addiction.now as far as finding Dr, go to here to help. you might have to drive a while to get to one I use too drive 1 hour,now I found one 35minutes away.i wish you the best of luck,let me know what happens

find a suboxone clinic in Pittsburgh, go there, sit outside the building and talk to a patient coming out, they will sell you their script. it sucks for people like you that want to use them for the right reason that soo many junkies have ruined it for the sincere ones. GOOD LUCK !!!

I could use your help too. I always make sure I have money to buy but never have the money to go to the doc. They require so much at one time and I can't do It. I neeeeeed some help please! I just want my life back and I'm tired of taking out my withdrawls on my kids.....I want to be normal again.

I AGREE...I HAVE BEEN ON SUBOXONE FOR 3 WEEKS NOW..I FOUND A DR. 7 HOURS AWAY..BUT WELL WORTH THE DRIVE FOR THE RELIEF I GET FROM SUBOXONE..I WAS A OPIATE ADDICT FOR 5 YEARS..NOT A DAY WOULD GO BY I WASNT USING OR OBSESSED WITH PILLS...SUXBOXONE HAS GIVEN ME THE FREEDOM FROM THE CRAVINGS OR WITHDRAWLS...MY HUSBAND HAS PAIN MEDS IN THE HOUSE AND BELIEVE IT OR NOT I CAN WALK RIGHT PAST THE BOTTLE AND COULD CARE LESS ABOUT TAKING ANY...THAT WOULD NOT BE POSSIBLE WITHOUT SUBOXONE. I AM ON 6 MGS A DAY..STRIPS.. SUBOXONE HAS GIVEN ME THE EDGE I NEEDED TO KICK THOSE DIRTY LITTLE WHITE PILLS THAT CONTROLED ME FOR YEARS..
