So being 7 weeks out of er surgery i went back to the hospotal last night. Dr prescribed 30norcos i need 4 days do you think that will help ## Thank goodness walgreens filled my script 5 days early. I don't know why because they said not till the 8th. Then today for s***s and giggles i checked the web site and it said ready. I was a nervous wreck going the pharmacy thinking they'd change their minds and say no too early. I am now giving my script to My bff and she's giving me my daily dose. UpdatedI am currently on 16mg on suboxone and I want to start duromine for wright loss is it possible to take them together ## Hello, Ivetta82! How are you? I didn't find any interactions listed between the two medications, but you should double check with your doctor or chemist to be certain. The Duromine is basically a stimulant, so it may be contraindicated with some medical conditions or other medications you may be taking. Is there anything else I can help with?
I am in a suboxone program. I failed 2 drug tests for methadone last month and this month, this month at the office and last month at the lab they send the urine to. The only thing is that I have not taken methadone in 4 months. The only different drugs I've taken is stacker swarms and Tylenol pm. I am also prescribed trazaodone, mirtzapine, lisinipril. Please help cause my Dr sent my urine off to the lab to be checked but if I tested positive for methadone from the office it's probably going to also be positive at the lab. Can any of these prescribed or OTC drugs cause a false positive for methadone? Because I haven't taken any methadone.
UpdatedI had trouble swallowing so went to a gastronolgist and he said i had some stomach erosion ive been on them for 2 years is it causing the stomach erosion and if so would it help to take the subutex instead ## Don,t know if it erodes the stomach but some people have complained of stomach ache while taking them. You can spit out the saliva after the sub has disolved. Not sure if that would make any differance in your case. Some people have switched to subutex claiming the naloxone bothers there stomach. Most sub drs "at least around here" won,t prescribe subutex unless your pregnant. Ask your sub dr what he thinks about switching.
I recently started taking subutex or same thing suboxone. When I take my dose 8mg and try to go to sleep i have very strange dreams. The thing is, is I can't tell if I am really asleep when this is happening. Because it happens as soon as I lay down and try to go to sleep almost like I am halucinating. I was just wondering if anyone else had these experinces or if anyone else knew if this was a normal side effect. ## yes, don't worry it will go away after a while you must have just started taking it it happened to me and scared the poo out of me it was more of a startling thing for me just don't take it before you go to sleep if ypu are noding off the it is normal at first but you will a just iam thinking you are just starting the med's?If not its ok it happens from time ...
Anyone who knows a lot about suboxone please call me at {edited for privacy}. ## Hello, Justin! How are you? The different between the two is that Suboxone contains Naloxone, as well as Buprenorphine, it helps prevent the abuse of other opiates, while someone is being treated with it. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Subutex just contains the Buprenorphine. Learn more Suboxone details here. Is there anything else I can help with?
Little background I've been doing opiates since 16 now 25. I used pills, H, whatever I could find. In 2010 I went to state prison for breaking into a pharmacy and stealing prescription drugs. Opiates have been my doc since I discovered them. I've been out since May and using suboxone ever since about 8 months now. Suboxone keeps me away from the other stuff and helps with my moods. My question is do I need to come up hot for opiates like I've been hearing or if I explain my situation to a Dr will he understand. I am on state Parole and obviously testing hot brings up issues with that. I understand that suboxone is used for withdrawal from opiates but the only reason I'm not on them is because of the subs obviously I am mentally addicted and need help at this point in tim...
UpdatedTuesday I have an appointment scheduled with a suboxone doctor. I have became addicted to opiates in 2005 after I had surgery. I was able to sober up on my own for around a year in 2008 but I relapsed and in the past 2 years I dont think I've had even one sober day. I work, run my household, take care of my children but I just can't seem to function without something in my system. I am ready to be the person I was before I started abusing pain meds (and anything else I couls get my hands on). Im going to 3 meetings a week and a therapist to help me along the way.. but i just need someone to answer me honestly, do these really work? I don't know if I can handle living this way much longer so I really hope its "yes" ## Hi, Yes they work BUT unless you have a real bad h...
When can I have my suboxone I had 40 mg methadone 7 hrs. ago ## Hello, Teri! How are you? You should follow the instructions provided by your doctor. Suboxone cannot be taken, until you are in full withdrawal from the abused drug of choice. Because along with the narcotic Buprenorphine, it also contains Naloxone, to prevent the abuse of other opiates, while you are being treated with it, so taking it too soon could throw you into severe, dangerous withdrawals. Learn more Suboxone details here. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I am on suboxone n my dr recently sent me for a bloodtest unrelated to suboxone, trying to figure out some other health conditions. She called me in to discuss results n said "I c u haven't been taking ur suboxone!" I was shocked bc I didn't think she'd see that. What all tests can they use to see what u have been doing?? This was a cbc which is a complete blood count. ## Someone plz help me in answering this question!!! If ur dr sends u for bloodwork, will they b able to see what's in ur system with a CBC??
Ive not had any suboxon since Sunday midday nd im wondering has anyone had any experience in taken herion if so how long did you wait before having any. Really struggling please help me D ## Are u serious? Why did u stop the Suboxone? The point of taking it is so you won't do H. You could have been experiencing withdrawal symptoms from stopping it cold turkey as well depending on how long you've been on it. I hope you are under a doctor's care. I wish you healthy and Godspeed!

I started my program today. 4mg per day is the magic number. I had to take one 2mg then wait an hour to see the Dr again. Then given another 2mg. When I left I felt like I was high. About an hour later I started to throw up. Does it help to take this with food? I know it's a side affect, does it go away? ## I am not sure how much taking it with food would help, since it is making you sick. You may want to consult with the doctor or a pharmacist before trying that. They may also have some other ideas on how to help the nausea. And yes, it will taper off as your body adjusts to the medication. You may also experience: dizziness, drowsiness and constipation. Im want to kick my opiate addiction! I want to know how much suboxone will i need to take a day? Does it really work? How much does it cost?...etc... Ive been taking opiates for 10 years but only everyday for the past 4 years. I take 100mg-150mg of morphine or 20-30mg of methadone a day. I tried to quit cold turkey by slowly weaning myself down for about 2 weeks to nothing. What a mistake that was, even after 7 days of not taking anything i was just as sick as i was on day 1. I thought about getting on the methadone clinic but its too much of a hassle for me. I also dont want anyone to know about my addition, kinda hard to do when you need to go to the clinic everyday. I heard suboxone is expensive is it really worth it? I can live without being "high" but i cannot live threw th...
I have found that the round orange Suboxone does not seem to be as strong as the 6 sided Suboxone....anybody have this experience? ## Hi Rick, I personally haven't had that same experience with this medication, but I am aware of the fact that certain inactive ingredients (that may or may not be present in each brand), are accountable for the overall efficacy of the drug itself. Whether it be dyes, propylene glycol, or corn starch, many of these kinds of fillers do have a large impact on how well the drug is metabolized and used by your body. If this is your first time switching over to another manufacturer's version of Suboxone, you may want to consider giving other generics/brands a chance to see if you have a better reaction. You can learn more about this drug on the page for ...
