Want to know how many 8mg suboxone strips it takes to reach the 'ceiling effect' which docs say is equivalent to 30mg of methadone? ## Sub dr. told me 32mg or 4 of the 8/2 strips. In my opinion thats way too much sub for anyone to be on anyways. ## I never felt suboxone, whether I took 1 or 4, subutex ceiling affect for me was 4 or 32 mg... ## Hey christian777, Your not suppose to feel suboxone. It doesn't make you high. You might feel something very slightly at first but that goes away quickly and you just feel normal. Ceiling effect just means that after so many mgs the drug just can,t do anymore for you. Thats why when someone needs more than lets say 30mgs of methadone to "feel right " suboxone may not be the best choice for them. Methadone has no ceiling effect ...

Suboxin for opiode dependency and kolonopin for anxiety together ## Hello, Gigi! Have these both been prescribed for you? On top of the fact that they can both be habit forming, the main issue with taking them at the same time is due to the fact that they both increase sedation, so the patient must be carefully monitored and the dosages decided very carefully. Learn more Suboxone details here. Learn more Klonopin details here. You should also know to watch for any danger signs, such as feeling extremely tired, trouble breathing and extreme dizziness.

can this generic for of suboxone be use to treat pain to? ## Hello, Keke! How are you? Yes, Suboxone contains the opiate narcotic Buprenorphine, along with Naloxone, so it can help pain and treat drug addiction. Learn more Suboxone details here. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I am currently taking Suboxone 8mg 2 times a day. I wanted to know if doctors do urine test to check to see if i have been taking my medication? ## If you went to a suboxone dr. they will make you take a p test when you go there once a month or whenever. I allways thought they were testing for opiates. Sorry, I don,t know if there checking suboxone levels also. Maybe someone else on here knows. ## From what I've heard and read from other posts on here, is that even though there is a Buperenorphine (Suboxone) specific drug test, not many places use it. The standard tests do not check for Suboxone because it is not a commonly 'abused' drug (like Vicodin, Oxycodone, Xanax and other drugs). I could be wrong here, but that is what I have gathered based on other's sharing thei...

I am a 50 year old female, with chronic interstitial cystitis, severe fibromyalgia, and cluster headaches, oh, let's not forget panic attacks and anxiety. I am in miserable pain and live on the couch, I have no life at all. I have had these medical problems since I was 25, however, the fibromyalgia did not really hit until 2 years ago. I chose to take suboxone for pain even though I am not an addict. I am afraid of pain specialist because in the late '90s was way over medicated by one. I have tried all the non narcotic treatments for the fibromyalgia to no avail. Has any one used the buprinorphine patch for pain? The suboxone worked great until the fibromyalgia hit, it just will not touch it. Nurontin works great, but makes my feet and legs swell. For the suboxone to even make t...

HI, I have just done an angioplasty with Stent in one artery >> !! is using Suboxone is going to cause any problem ??? or interfere with my medication use, I am on Crestor (cholesterol pill) and also some blood thinner Berlinta , etc, please help ??? ## Hello, Hadi! How are you? Sorry about the surgery. Since Suboxone contains both Buprenorphine and Naloxone, I am not sure about it's safety in such a situation. What has your doctor advised? The opiate in it can act as a depressant that lowers heart rate and blood pressure, so it may not mix well with the other medications that you're taking. It can also be habit forming. I have been taking two to three 8mg Dilaudid ,iv, for the past 3 years. I am desperately wanting to take suboxone and get off the D. I had done a quarter of a D right before bed then 6 hours later I did a half of a sub strip. I was able to go to work and I was fine. I am wanting to do the same thing now and get off of this junk but after I see people that wait I see people that waited 16 hours to take a sub and I still went in to precipitated withdrawals. Did I just have a stroke of luck the first time around or is it possible to have the same results again? I pray to God its possible! Any useful insight is welcome. ## Before starting Suboxone, you actually need to be in full withdrawals. I went on suboxone last Demember, almost exactly a year ago today, and I've been off since late October. My doctor started me on 3 8mg tabs daily which I took every day for about 8 months. I told him 7 months into it I was ready to ween off which i did so in 4 mg increments. i tapered down for about 4 months going down 4mg sometimes in 2 weeks and sometimes in 2 months depending on how I was feeling. The withdrawal during this time was noticable but bearable and made me dread what coming off completely was going to be like. Once I got down to 1mg daily I told my doctor that was it and stopped going. The physical withdrawals I felt were like nothing I've ever been through before. Going on this medication after 160-240mg a day oxy habit seemed like a great idea at the time but I a...

Hi it would be of great help to me if any suboxone users could help me out by answering my question. Would 2mg of suboxone restrict your pupils. My partner has been using 2mg of suboxone for some time now and his pupils are always very restricted which puzzles the life out of me and in turn causing massive problems in our relationship. I'm convinced he must be using "other stuff" to make his pupils this small. Would 2mg of suboxone cause this. With many thx to any1 who would be kind enough to reply. Thank u. ## Hi, Ann! How are you? Yes, Suboxone actually contains 2 active ingredients, Buprenorphine and Naloxone. is this suboxone? if not what is it? ## The closest match I'm finding is a small round purple pill imprinted with "E 415"; which has been identified as Bupropion hydrochloride extended release (SR) 150 mg. Manufacturer: Sandoz Pharmaceuticals Inc. Bupropion is an atypical antidepressant and smoking cessation aid. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Bupropion Details NOTE: because the imprint "E" looks italic, much like some sort of fancy logo, I'd imagine that it can easily be mistaken for something else depending on how you look at it.
