Upcoming Suboxone Appointment Need Advice
UpdatedLittle background I've been doing opiates since 16 now 25. I used pills, H, whatever I could find. In 2010 I went to state prison for breaking into a pharmacy and stealing prescription drugs. Opiates have been my doc since I discovered them. I've been out since May and using suboxone ever since about 8 months now. Suboxone keeps me away from the other stuff and helps with my moods. My question is do I need to come up hot for opiates like I've been hearing or if I explain my situation to a Dr will he understand. I am on state Parole and obviously testing hot brings up issues with that. I understand that suboxone is used for withdrawal from opiates but the only reason I'm not on them is because of the subs obviously I am mentally addicted and need help at this point in time I can't see not having anything to help me.. of course in the future I might be able to be completely off but right now I cannot handle it. Please do not answer Trying to explain the pharmacology the effects or anything of Suboxone I have done my homework and I'm very educated on the subject and opiate addiction itself. Again my question is will a doctor understand my plight and understand the subs are the only thing keeping the needle out of my arm or is it protocol to test dirty. I know I will have to be in withdrawal and plan stopping my sub intake two or three days before. Thanks.
