I started using the strips of suboxone a few months back.. But I find they don't hold me over as long as the pills did. ( I take the strips because I have a free co pay from the company) Especially when you have to split one in half. So the do to put me up back to 2 and 1/2 instead of 1 and 1/2.. Just incase so my new doctors says anyways.. Since he put my dose up instead of it being 45 a month now it's 75 a month.. But I got every two weeks now, my last fill was 1/15/14 and because it's a new doctor I had to go 2/4/14 how soon can I fill this new script?? ## " So the do to put me up back to 2 and 1/2 instead of 1 and 1/2.." I've been an opiate addict for the last ten years or so. I was on 160mg of methadone for 5 of those years. I managed to start weaning myself down to about 50mgs at my clinic, and didn't have any major problems. Last year I got arrested and I was admitted into a drug treatment court where I wasn't allowed to take methadone but I could take suboxone. I made the switch after a few painful days and was started on 24mgs, which I know now was probably too high. Over the last year I've managed to cut all the way down to 2mgs without any withdraws or relapses (I take 3 drugs tests a week). I've been telling myself for the last 5months or so that each refill would be the last. I stopped going to my sub doc because it was so expensive, luckily or unluckily I had a script for 6...

Free Suboxone Samples can be checked on by talking to your health care professional. Often times manufactures will give them to a doctor. There are also patient assistance programs to be looked into to help cut the cost and some may actually pickup the entire cost. Another idea is to make sure you call around to different pharmacy to check on cost. Sometimes it can vary with certain medications.

Well yesterday was my last day of subs for me. I tapered myself all the way down to .5mg a day. I'm ok today but my back is starting to mess with me, but I'm fine. The highest dose I've ever taken was 8mg but didn't like the way it made me feel. I've been on subs for almost 5yrs now and it's just time to stop. I'M SICK AND TIRED OF BEING SICK AND TIRED!! It all started with a real bad car accident in which I rolled my car 4 times on I95 in Virginia almost 11yrs ago. I have been on suboxone since October of 2013...I originally had a pill addiction and moved on to heroin...subsequently I suffered a back injury at work in November and have been in terrible pain. No doctors want to prescribe me narcotics...which I understand. Yesterday I took a Percocet that someone gave me and I see sub doc tomorrow afternoon...Will the oxy still be in my system? I have heard that drinking a lot of water I can flush the oxy out faster? I just do not want to have to go into this clinic once a week...which will happen if I come up dirty...it's far from my home and I can't afford it. Any ideas? Also..Will the oxy show show up in the urine cups with the instant reads on it...because it will be over 48 hours by then? They do send urines out to lab to be tested...so...

I'm being switched from methadone to suboxone I got brought from 63mg to 30mg and now I have to go in withdrawals for 3 days before I can start suboxone. My last 30mg dose was on sunday by monday afternoon I was sick nd couldn't take it and took some vicodin nd by tuesday night I tried getting the doc to call in somethind for the withdrawals nd he wouldnt then I was offered by a friend an 8mg suboxone strip nd it helped me feel normal nd I was able to sleep now I'm worried come thursday if I'm going to be tested for suboxone nd if so if its still in my system will he refuse to perscribe it to me? ## I was wondering how this went as I have a appointment tomorrow and ate 1/4 of a quarter of sub which is very low dose. I just recently got prescribed soboxone after about a year and a half of shooting h. I still would like to get high maybe once a month. Does anybody know how long to wait? I take a sub before bed. i have to wake up bout six am for work and if i take an opiate at about nine willl it be effected buy the sub from the night before? Obviously i would have to wait a day or so or untill i am back in withdraw to take more sub but can u skip a day of sub and use that day then continue w/ the sub the next day? ## you can't use suboxone for a crutch,if you're going to do H i would'nt mess with suboxone,you're either going to use sub or h,if you're going to keep using h just stay on that misrible road,if you just take suboxone you're life will get better,it won't with h....

I am trying to find out what this is ## This pill has 6 sides, white in colour, n8 on one side and little sword on other please tell me what this is ## Hi Marko, Based on my research, a white hexagonal (six-sided) tablet with a sword logo on one side and "N8" on the other, is identified as generic Suboxone; containing 8mgs of Buprenorphine HCL + 2mgs of Naloxone HCL dihydrate. Started sub 3 months ago today at 12mg. Started tapering 2 months ago. 4 weeks ago I was at 4mg. and have dropped 1 mg per week. Took my last 1mg this morning. Noticed people been asking about coming off this stuff. I,ll keep you all informed about how my jump feels. Not expecting anything for a few days because of the half life. Just to let you know I didn,t feel much bettween tapers until I got down to 1mg. and I gotta tell you that it was just about nothing. Not thinking jump will be too bad, maybe mild discomfort I hope. I've been using percocets for 2 years. for my fibromyalgia pain. I was taking 30 milligrams a day. now I am detoxing on suboxone for 2 days. my doctor currently gave me Savell. can I do both together or should I wait after I detox.. ## Hello, Tina! How are you? Are you just working with your regular doctor on this? The Suboxone likely isn't appropriate for someone taking just 30mgs a day, it's meant to be used to treat hardcore drugs addicts, not someone that's just been dependent on something for pain. And are you referring to Savella? In respect to it, what instructions did your doctor provide you for when to start it?

I found an orange octagon shaped pill. COMPLETELY blank on one side, and on the other is only the number 10. Went to my sub. dr. yesterday and he lowered my dose of 12mg per day to 8mg. or one film strip. I told him I want to get off sub. completely so he,s gonna taper me down to very low dose. I asked him about WDS. and he assured me that there would be next to none. I doubt this. He told me he would prescribe Tramadol when I got off the Suboxone and then wean me off it. Has any one tried or heard of this method? ## I've not heard of tramadol being used for WDS, but I tried it for pain once. It made me feel creepy, gabe me wierd dreams, and didn't help with my pain ( kind of like me subox expierence). Everyone is different though, and it migh work for you. simple Q, i been back n forth, takin subs, than relapsing. i been battlin this way for a long time. on and off on and off. now it kinda seems like the subs arent as affective. i relapsed the first day of taking my subs , i took the usual amount i always do. and it doesnt really work. so in a panic. i relapsed again. i want to start taking my subs again though. so is it safe that i wait the 12 hrs ui always do to take my subs again which are prescribed to me? or should i wait longer totake my subs?

I have been taking my pills for the last couple months now I just can't live like this anymore, running out early n having to buy them, I can't afford it, I can't take the metal distress anymore of waking up n first thing needing to do something or find something just so I can feel right. I want to be completely done with EVERYTHING!!! I have a couple suboxone n I need to know what the best way to go about this is. Should I just do suboxone for a couple days then would I be ok, or what?? PLEASE HELP! SOMEONE plez give me something to go by.I feel like crap but I'm scared to take the suboxone after the terrible precip w/d I went thru .How long should I wait to dose again.Any insight would be greatly appreciated for sure!!!!!!!thanks ## You must already be in full withdrawal from whatever drug you were abusing, before you can take Suboxone. When has your doctor instructed you start it?

My husband has had many back surgeries and procedures - he has taken 200 dalotid in 7 days - he has od'ed on morphien - he went on suboxen for 6 weeks - all was going pretty good - then he started saying he was in pain - then the suboxen wasn't helping - he never was addicted (8 years on opiods) he has a high tolerance - now he stopped the suboxen - and came home with a bag of pills - how do you handle pain without the opiods? ## There are several options, however, they all depend on his medical condition and what it causing his back pain. He could try seeing a chiropractor, massage, relaxation techniques and etc. But as I said, it really depends on what is going to be safe for him to try. Hi. Just thought this might help someone. I take suboxone among other medications but sometimes I skip my dose just to avoid its TERRIBLE taste. I almost can't stand it. I imagine others might feel the same. Well there is a solution! I've found that drinking LEMONADE prior to putting the strip under your tongue makes it dissolve faster (from the tangy, sour salivation), helps disguise some of the taste, and drinking it after the dose has dissolved helps remove any more of that awful medicine after taste. Hope this helps someone!
