I've been takin zolpidem E 79 for a while n works great. But my local pharmer filled my script wit the purple round pill with M Z2 on it. I received my prescription for zopiclone but it’s a brand I’ve never had before. The packaging says ZOPIC 7.5 and says it’s produced by Radicon Laboratories. It’s an Indian brand. Has anyone taken them? What was your experience with them? Too scared to take them but need them for insomnia and severe anxiety. I have an RX of zolpidem tartrate 10mg. It is oblong, oval, has what looks like 1 die with 5 dots on 1 side, and 10 mg on the other side. I received a prescription for seconal 100mg in 2006. It has not been opened and kept in the dark. What are the chances that it is still active? If it's in a pharmacy bottle, then that does count as being opened, since it was removed from the original container and it would have expired one year from the date of dispensing. My Dr says take Dayvigo and Ativan together while I wean off ativan. Has anybody else done this? ## Have not taken, but trying to wean off Ativan. I can't find any seconal or tuinal, I took this medication for many years after getting ulscers from fiorinal so I'm searching to find out where I can get this very old sleeping medication. Does anybody know any prescription strength sleep aids that are stronger than Melatonin? I have been using at least 10 mg Melatonin a night at bedtime for a few years but it isn’t working like it used to. Keep in mind this is when needed and I would talk to my doctor about this once I have a list related towards this. ## I am 89 and have used Ambien, 5 mg. dose for years, with no bad side effects. I'm a long term user of zolpidem. Whenever I forget to take this medicine I have horrible dreams, sweats and a poor night's sleep. Sometimes my fiancee and i take a melatonin supplement that we got from Whole Foods in order to help us fall asleep. Personally I find that it works very well - and I feel relatively safe taking it because it is natural and not a "drug" per say... However I am just wondering if anybody else has experience or information about taking melatonin. From what I understand it is already produced naturallly by the body, so i wonder how they are able to synthesize this substance. I found two round white with a bunch of pinkish specks on them. There is no imprint and would like to know what they are. ## We can rule them out as being U.S. approved prescription tablets, since they are all required to have imprints to enable their identification. That means they are most likely over the counter products and that leaves it open to many different possibilities. What is your general location? Some products are regional, so that may help to narrow it down. Does anyone else recognize these? Does anyone know of the availability of Tardyl? Tardyl was used mostly in Eastern Europe. It is composed of Amobarbital, Glutethimide (Doriden) and Promethazine in a three layered tablet. I believe it was made by Extractum Pharmaceuticals, and is indicated for insomnia. The dosage was 125mg of Amobarbital and Glutethimide (Doriden) and I believe 25 mg of Promethazine, all in one tablet. Sadly Glutethimide (Doriden) was discontinued by the last remaining manufacturer Halsey Drug (HD 550 on white round tablet) in late 1992. The DEA practically forced the FDA to make it a schedule ll drug with the ridiculously low quota of six grams. They were the best, especially with codeine ("Hits", "Cibas & codeine "). Yes they were abused but nothing like the opioid abuse epidemic of today. The last countries that used them were Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria. Doriden inducted a liver enzyme CYPD26 if I recall correctly, that made the codeine convert to morphine 80 to 90% instead of the usual 10-15%. It was very long lasting and effective.
