Tuinal Or Seconal

I can't find any seconal or tuinal, I took this medication for many years after getting ulscers from fiorinal so I'm searching to find out where I can get this very old sleeping medication. Because I took Barbiturates for so long noyhing else works.

I'm trying to find seconnal or tuinal as i was on fiorinal for so long eventually i was put on tuinal, because of alcurs to much asperin in the fiorinal. Barbituates as being such an old drug are hard to come by and nothing else works for getting a good nite sleep. I'm trying to see if the 100mg tuinal are still manufactured and whether I can ask my doctor to prescribe them?

Have u found a place to fill a prescription yet? I'm still struggling along with EXTREME anxiety and panic attacks at least every other night. I would love to be able to just take some of the old style sleeping pills for my night time anxiety/attacks. I'm 32 years of age, and would appreciate any help one could give me. I'm currently taking klonpin bathe maximum dose twice daily and it does nothing.

I now have an answer to the unavailability of Seconal from the manufacturer (Bausch, formerly Valeant). It is on back order in the US (and possibly everywhere but I was only told re: US). It is currently for some reason not being made - no reason given - only to keep checking back. They are the only ones who manufacture it so I would. Be wary of online providers because it’s either a counterfeit or very old, at least a year. They were not clear at all on whether it’s being made now for use in other countries and cautioned against online purchasing. 30 109 mg capsules if they were available are around $1000. As of estimates NOW. What they will cost later, no idea. That’s all the info I have straight from the company.

Valeant (now Bausch) is back ordered one year on Seconal. They are only manufacturer. Why they are not currently making Seconal at this time they give no answer. No distributor has it. I’m sure it will come back probably at same ridiculously high price. If you see it advertised inline I would be very wary. If it’s one year back ordered the chances of an online pharmacy having a counterfeit or very expired Seconal is very high. I too have a script but no way to fill it. Barbiturates are “old” drugs but that doesn’t mean they are not useful for some people? Very controversial. I would truly feel trying to obtain Seconal (Nembutal is now illegal I believe in the US) on line is not just that the products are very likely counterfeit but also potentially dangerous ingredients. I would bet Seconal will become available again. It was a shamefully high money maker for the manufacturer. You can contact customer service at Bausch USA (the new name for Valeant) periodically to see if they have resumed manufacturing and distribution to LEGITIMATE US pharmacies. Then you know you’re getting a safe authentic drug. I fear patience is called for here. Don’t play roulette with online pharmacies claiming to have Seconal. Aside from it possibly being illegal the ingredients in the drugs could be deadly counterfeits.

Please see my posts last month. Valeant (now Bausch) is back ordered a year on Seconal. Per my conversation with their customer service they are not MAKING it currently & they are the sole manufacturers. You can’t get a RX filled because there is no supply. Will they resume making it? I would think so since they jacked up the price ridiculously and it’s a great money maker. They suggested checking in with Bausch customer relations periodically. I would NOT order this online because the chances are it’s counterfeit or worse, a dangerous substance. No pharmacy can obtain a drug that’s not being currently manufactured. I have no idea if it’s being made and distributed in other countries that makes no sense. They can make a killing financially selling it legally in the US. You can call Bausch ( formerly Valeant) Customer Relations and you’ll get the same answer I did but feel free to do so. Call the UNITED STATES number not the CANADIAN number. Is it legitimately being made & distributed in another country??I doubt it and why would they do so? People were willing to pay thousands for an inexpensive drug in the US! Again I would strongly caution against trying to order it online. You might possibly get a cocktail of contaminated or lethal drugs, not Seconal. At best you will almost surely get a counterfeit. People keep asking why they can’t get a Rx filled here. A year or two ago I could have...for $3000. I didn’t fill the script. Would I today? Well the answer is : the sole manufacturer is NOT CURRENTLY MAKING IT. My honest suggestion, call them yourselves. Bausch US ( not Canadian ) Customer Relations and inquire. Will they make it again? My bet is yes. I don’t think the publicity of it as the suicide drug helped. We have an epidemic of ODs using all kinds of narcotics not a Barbituate epidemic but it’s association with Dr assisted suicide was not helpful. Did this have anything to do with its current pause in manufacturing? I have no idea. They were highly criticized for raising the price astronomically but it wouldn’t surprise me if it comes back just as expensive. Call for yourself.

Seconal is not being manufactured by Valeant ( now Bausch) at this time, it is back ordered. Call their United States customer service to keep tabs in when it will be availablevv
