doctor wrote a script and it says phys mes/ pain manaement for the doctor i am going to see ## Hi ladybird, From what I could gather, the abbreviation "phys med" stands for "Physical Medicine"; usually in reference to rehabilitation centers and/or pain management doctors. I'm not quite sure what type of tasks are involved with Physical Medicine; other than assuming it may have to do with occupational therapy and other things of that nature. So ive been in the hospital for 2 weeks now. They have been giving me Dilaudid for pain. The pain i have was a 7 out of 10 and 10 being the worst. So i have taken it for about 12 or 13 day. the pain has gradually gone away but still there and they have been giving me morphine but i feel nothing and it doesnt help like the dilaudid did. how long would it take for me to be able to take morphine and feel the effect cause the pain is so annoying when i try to sleep. ## It may just be that the Morphine doesn't work for you, that does happen to some people. Are they injectable the morphine 15 mg with the (54-733)on it ? ## No, no tablets are safe to inject, they are only intended to be swallowed, so they have not been formulated for injection. Tablets contain fillers and not all of them are meant to be broken down by the human body, they are normally just expelled as waste. the pill is round with a score through the middle and on the flip side is the number 512. they are in a bottle that is suppose to have oxycod/apap 5-325mg tab mall. but i think they may have been switched???? ## No, that is exactly what these tablets are, a generic for Percocet which contain 5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen each. I took one percocet 5 for the first time in 4 months and now I found out I have a saliva test in 2 days. Will it come up. U as take on a daily bases tramidol and tylendol 3 will that show up as an opiate for a cyst in my knee. ## Oxycodone is usually detectable in saliva for approximately 2 days, after last dosing, so that will be cutting it kind of close. I had got a oxycodone capsuel and it was blue and white and white powder inside and i need to know if these are real because they have no print on them. ## If there was no marking on it of any type, then it is very unlikely that it was Oxycodone, or any other prescription medication. I'am taking morphine sulfate 30mg ir. how much dilaudid equal that or what mg of dilaudid ## It would take 7.5mgs of the Dilaudid to be equivalent to each 30mg dosage of Morphine. I am seeing a pain management doctor for bulging discs, sciatica and hyper mobility. I was prescribed hydrocodone 5/325 4 times daily. My pain this month has been intolerable so i have taken more than prescribed. I have enough pills left to get me through but I'm worried about the doctor giving me a drug test to make sure i am taking the pills as directed. I do not want to be dismissed from the program and i plan to tell the doctor the strength needs to be increased. So my question is how many days before my drug test should i regulate my pills so it shows accurately on the test? I totally disagree. Whn I was younger I was an active heroin user & the whole 3-5 days 4 urine was correct but tests have changed these days itook a urine recently after 3 wks of takin 4 30mg roxys & it showed up!! I was clean off heroin 4 yrs but have been on suboxone. The Dr said it can pick up traces 4 awhile after takin pills or heroin/cocaine but obviously wouldn't tell me how long. I screwed up recently & took Roxys. I don't want to be kicked out of the suboxone program. Have u heard of it taking this long before?? I had asked my pharmacist how my last prescription I got there of 30mg MS Contin was 3 times the size of the other.One was red and huge and the other was blue and smaller than a aspirin .She acted like I was stupid and just kept repeating they were both 30mg of morphine.No s*** really? Anyway I figure one is full of garbage filler and the other was cleaner? Small white oval pill m indent 100 blank on the other side red writing ## I think it is some sort of allergy or pain medication. I have the same thing but can't remember for the life of me what it is exactly. ## Just found a match to your pill! It's over-the-counter Motrin (Ibuprofen) 100mg. i like snorting my oxy 30s but i cant seem to crush the brown op 30s ## They've actually been specially formulated to prevent people using them in this manner, since they are only intended to be swallowed. How many can i take without getting my liver hurt with the acetaminophen. I hurt my back and I took one about two hours ago but my back is still killing me. Doc also gave me 600mg Motrin and something called flexiril. I'm not a pill popper so I don't know how safe taking all this stuff is. But I can hardly sit anywhere besides a hot tub without extremes pain. Seeing chiropractor next week until then all I got is the hydrocodone the Motrin and the flexiril.
