What Does Phys Med Pain Manamement Mean

Hi ladybird,

From what I could gather, the abbreviation "phys med" stands for "Physical Medicine"; usually in reference to rehabilitation centers and/or pain management doctors.

I'm not quite sure what type of tasks are involved with Physical Medicine; other than assuming it may have to do with occupational therapy and other things of that nature.
