I also take other meds cyclobenzaprine diazepam, nortriptyline . I was prescribed the 25mg patch. after reading info with meds it states DO NOT TAKE IF NOT ALREADY USING OPIOID PAIN MED. I am scared to death to try this med. Because I have not used pain meds continually in the last 6 months. Is this safe to start? ## Fentanyl is a very strong opiate narcotic, it is over 80 times stronger than Morphine. Learn more Fentanyl details here. The main issue I see with it, apart from it being so strong, is that it really leaves you nowhere else to go in the future. Generally, it should be the last resort medication, after other options have been exhausted, since th...
Just wanted to no if percocets come pink come pink ## Hello, Gary! How are you? It depends on what you're talking about. Percocet is a combination medication that contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone, all the ones that are currently available on the U.S. market are white tablets. However, Oxycodone is available by itself in tablet form, and some of those are pink. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Are there any markings on the tablet in question?
A white oblong pill stamped with A222. NDC is 10370 222 11. ## This tablet contains Tramadol Hydrochloride 200 mg (NDC 10370-0222); manufactured by Anchen Pharmaceuticals. Inactive Ingredients: - Acetone - Ethylcelluloses - Hypromelloses - Magnesium Stearate - Polyethylene Glycols - Polyvinyl Alcohol - Sodium Phosphate - Talc - Titanium Dioxide Ref: DailyMed
I couldn't help but notice that no one has mentioned oxycodone. I take 4 40mg daily and it has been effective in treating my back issues. They have enabled me to return to work, which involves a lot of travel and much activity once onsite, and due to this medication my pain no longer dictates my life. There is always the fear of dependence but over the years I have become something of an expert at withdrawal and how to avoid it. When used responsibly this medication is a Godsend. When it is abused it is a curse. ## Hello, Tracy! How are you? I'm very glad that this mediation has helped you so much. The FDA classifies Oxycodone narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipat...
I have been on Norco for years . I have used it in conjunction with Roxicodode with great sucess. Now that I have switched to the white version I am having serious problems controling my pain. I don't believe they just removed the dye. This white Norco has become a placebo falling far short of the results I once had. Now I am in scramble mode to find a replacement for the old yellow Norco. Walgreens has told me they have had several calls with other pain patients suffering from the new White Norco. Obviously Watson drug has altered the Norco to increase profits at the patients expense. How surprising. I will update fellow sufferers of the new bad White Norco with an alternative as soon as my Pain Clinic can finda replacement. Larry.T ## PLEASE let me know if u find anything , i have...
Bought this crap looks like someone scraped the 500 off the back ## Hello, Jj! How are you? The tablet with the IP 109 marking is manufactured by Amneal Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as anarcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
Does this med and/or the out of date version cause stomach or bladder pain? I already have IC and inflamed stomach. I've been suffering bladder pain for a week. Had blood drawn, everything is fairly normal. Its either this or imitrex, they are the only changes lately. Yes, I have migraines too, thus the imitrex. Thanks ## Hello, Cindy! How are you? You shouldn't be taking Darvocet, at all. It was removed from the market several years ago, due to the dangers it caused of cardiac injury, which resulted in several deaths. It also has a very high rate of overdose, as reported by the FDA. Thus, if you've been taking this, you should inform your doctor, so they can check for any potential problems. It is probably due to the Imitrex, though it would be best to have it checked out t...
The pill is white with tan specs in it and it only says cdn and there is no number on the other side where normally it says the Mg size when its oxygen er from Canada but there is nothing nonlinear about it ## There is nothing on the Internet about this drug but the drug test my friend used said it was oxycodone ## It isn't listed in the databases as being Oxycodone, but the problem may be due to the fact that to help prevent forgery of medication, Canada has removed current and future imprint information from public availability. This creates difficulty for identifying tablets, because many companies used similar imprints on various products and only the colors, or shapes are different and enable them to be identified. Does anyone from Canada know what this is? ## I got one of the ...
I have both these genes. After four random urine test for Norco with my PM Dr. I'm told that I do not have any in my system. Even though, I took one the day of the last test just to prove to him I was taking them. As a rule I do not take them the day of because I have to drive 45 minutes to his office. Recetnly I took a genetic test and in my report it says I have both CYP2C19 Extensive or Ultra-Fast Metabolizer and that I am a Carrier of one CYP2D6 decreased or non-functioning variant. Your body may have a reduced ability to process some medicines. You are a carrier for rs1065852(T;T). IS this why my medication isn't showing up in my system? I've tried reading as much as I can about these genes. But, everything I find basically is talking about one or the other, but nothing...
Updated in NorcoHello, I am curious to know if moving that my doctor would double my dose of cough medicine, antibiotics just in case, for me due to not being able to find a new doctor right away in California. As well as laws that prohibit me from filling a prescription from Wisconsin that was written before becoming a resident. I currently receive 8oz at a time for my bronchitis flare ups and continuos post nasal drip that happens frequently. I understand that it's a lot of syrup to have but never have used it other than for symptomatic relief.
Updated in HydrometBig white oval real fatoval I9 ## Hello, Mackie! How are you? The marking on this tablet is actually intended to be 6i, it is manufactured by Dr. Reddy's Laboratories and they list it as containing 600mgs of Ibuprofen. The FDA classifies this medication as being a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever and/or swelling. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach irritation and increased risk of bleeding. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Verwon, what is your feeling on not drinking a lot of water when taking this medicine. In the middle of the night when I have a headache or back pain I have taken one with a gulp of water. This does not appear to be the right thing to do, although I only have taken one in a...
What color is a non generic norco 10 mg and who is original manufacture. ( original norco)What color is original 10 mg norco ## There usually Watson & yellow.... ## @Cents, I believe Patrick (post #1) is right about Watson being the original manufacturer of the yellow oblong/oval shaped tablets. However, Actavis is now the company who took over and they altered the formula to make them white in their physical appearance. It was after this change that many patients also reported a significant difference in the tablet's overall effectiveness. I for one have not tried either, but if you take a look around the various related threads here on MedsChat, you may find several reviews that discuss this change from the original formula. It is widely thought that Actavis put less active in...
I would like to know if these are available online, either in the UI, SA, A, or Canada..? Any information, address, telephone or ???? ## does regular strength 325mg acetaminophen have codene in it ## @Eddie, The medication you're describing (generic Fioricet) is reported to only be available via prescription - at least here in the US. This means that it would be illegal to obtain them via other means if you reside in the US. So unless you're visiting those other countries in person, you'd have to go through your doctor in order to get what you need. @themayor665 (post #1), No, Acetaminophen in and of itself does NOT contain Codeine at all. They are two different drugs. However, the medication in question (generic Fioricet) is available with Codeine "added" to the mix...
My dad had a surgery done on his shoulder and they prescribed her Opana IR 20mg. He had late stage COPD and he wasn't taking any narcotic pain medication prior the surgery. I take Opana myself and it a powerful medication. I know these type of medicines can affect your breathing at high doses. I know Opana is two times stronger the oxycodone. So it is like taking 40 mg of oxycodone. I don't know why they didn't give him like hydrocodone or oxycodone instead at a lower dose. It would been different if he was taking these class of medication where he would been use to them in his system. He was very doped up when he can home that day he was never fully awake after leaving the hospital my mom gave him the medicine about 4 hours after getting home. He fell to sleep in his favori...
I have some questions about percocet is 10 milligrams a strong dose does that mean a thousand what color are they and what should it say on the pill ## Hello, Julie! How are you? I'm sorry, but I'm not sure I completely understand all of your post. Does what mean a thousand? Can you please clarify? As to the color and markings, there are quite a few generics available, so that will depend on which manufacturer made the tablets. 10mgs is fairly potent, especially if you're not opiate tolerant. Percocet contains both Oxycodone and Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## How long does it take for percoce...
Hi, I need help please. I was leaving for vacation last Wednesday from Newark airport. We were frantically trying to catch our plane(which we ended up missing anyways) when I realized that either my carry on bag was lost or stolen in the shuffle. Between my husband and my two kids bags plus my own. Figures it'd be my bag with my oxy 15mg oxy 30mg morphine and muscle relaxers. The only positive is that I always carry some in my purse, but never more then 10 of each for obvious reasons. So, anyway I'm starting to get down to nothing, and have been taking next to nothing and my drs office is on vacation too?? Idk what to as I am supposed to be on vacation for another 10days with my family and really don't want to be sick. Any suggestions??? Even a home made remedy to make it ea...

My husband has used fentanyl patches for years for chronic pain. He's been on the lowest dosage for at least 2 years and suddenly he's having terrible withdrawals for no reason. He has been on higher dosages before and the lowest dosage is good enough for his pain. These withdrawals are a nightmare for him and me. He had withdrawals then 2 days later withdrawals again even though both times he had a fresh patch on. Does anyone know why this would happen? Does a body just decide to reject it after a length of time? The patches are fresh, he used some from this box already, so it's not the batch of patches. ## Hi I used the patch n went down did not have withdrawals he shouldn't be Id quite taking them and get to the Pharmacy good Luck ## Hi AGrandma! Did your husband just...

I am diabetic2 since 2011; but fully controlled so much as if I am not of that. not taking diabetic medicine Glycomet. My Dr. stopped related medicines since Sugar values dropping. I have been taking Navastate+Coversal+Echosprin+Calcium and now taking Nervez B 500 cap. I had Peripheral neuropathy pain on my Rt.shoulder and little burning on toes. He prescribed Maxgalin M75 for 40 days. It cured completely. I have little numbness bottom of feet. He prescribed Prelien M 75 (same as Max.) yesterday when I was washing mouth blood oozed out from Gums. It is as I read one of the side effects so I totally stopped it. I am now taking Alpha Lipoic Acid Tab. 300 mg after Lunch and Nervez B after B.F. Nervez B contains 100 mg ALA. so total 400 mg is going in. My Dr. says I must take ALA 600 mg daily.
