wondering what this pill is that i found, it is a white oval pill with 44-338 on one side and plain on the other side. ## Has anybody found the answer to this ? ## No, I am not certain what it is, but I can tell you that it is definitely an over the counter med, not a prescription product. These pills marked with the 44 followed by other numbers are manufactured by LNK International, they only make over the counter products which are sold by various stores as their store brands or generic. Most of them turn out to be a version of Tylenol-- Acetaminophen, but I have found others to be a generic for Aleve, Tums, Sudafed and a few others. These are hard to find, being over the counter there are just far too many to keep track of, so no one has a real comprehensive database, they just aren...
will a blood test show a specific drug or just that an opiate has been used? ## Most tests can show the specific type that was used, due to certain metabolites in the body. Thus, Oxycodone would be detected as Oxycodone, Methadone and Methadone and etc. In addition, some tests can detect the levels, so they know how much was taken. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I'm prescribed 4 oxycodone per day. Some days I take 6, some days 2. If PM does blood test what will it tell them? My former PM doc said "just take 1 before you come in." I don't understand how levels works... Can they tell how many/when, etc.? Should I just make sure I take 1 the night before and 1 the day of??
I currently take Watson 387 Vicodin. I'm wondering if porcacet, or Oxycontin, or any other pain medications might help my back pain better, and so i don't build up a tolerance to Vicodin maybe i should rotate every so often. I have a back injury related to a car accident. Any advice on alll the different pain medications on the market I'll appreciate it thanks..Scott ## Alternating medications is a possibility you will need to discuss with your doctor. This works well for some people, but it really depends on how your body reacts to any given medication and how fast you build up a tolerance to it. The problem, however, with switching to Oxycodone is that it is much stronger than the Hydrocodone in the Vicodin, so once you use it, switching back to the Hydrocodone is likely t...
Hi, I've been tapering down my morphine from 400mg morphine sulfate. 3600 gabapentin and 60 mg of duloxatine, I started in October/November because of side effects like sweating and kept on crashing out for days. I'm now down to 120 mg morphine and 1800 mg of gaba and 30 mg of duloxatine and I'm still so fatigued. I'm living mostly on my bed at the moment and I can't fathom it, Is the dose of motphine still too high? I'm in a little pain but most of all I'm quite stressed as this condition has changed my life. Any input I would be thankful for. ## Hello, Del! How are you? Tiredness and fatigue can be a side effect of these medications, as reported by the FDA, they can also be withdrawal effects. You may just need to give it time. Once you are on a steady dose...
What is harder on the bodies organs, Percocet or Tramacet? ## Hello, Dave! How are you? Since both of the medications you've mentioned contain Paracetamol/Acetaminophen, they're probably about equal in risk. Many people don't realize it, but Acetaminophen is actually a very dangerous medication and may cause liver damage or failure. Additionally, an overdose of it can be fatally toxic. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I share your thoughts on the acetaminophen and was going to ask my Doctor to prescribe me either straight oxycodone or tramadol I was wondering which was more likely to cause constipation and which is harder on the liver ## I agree. Paracetamol causes more drug deaths than all other pharmaceuticals combined, and the situation was even worse when dextr...
I got alvogen for the first time yesterday. they charged me 230 dollars for 130 tabs of 7.5 I am in pain management for siatica and fibromyalgia all I can say is I was robbed this was from publix I am so angry this will be a long month not even 2 work . Can someone please tell me where and how to complain to the FDA please and thank you ?? ## What is the problem exactly with the medication? ## It does not work it is weak I feal like I did not take a pecocet I feel like I took an ibuprofen or something comparable compared to the other types of pecocets I have taken.! ## I feel like it does not work . It is like I took an aspirin or something they are worthless I feel like I was robbed ## How long have you been taking Percocet for pain control? Perhaps it is a tolerance issue and you need...
Please someone give me a pharmacy that is legally able to fill C-2s for FL. ## Any pharmacy that has them in stock can legally fill a valid and legal prescription for them. The problem in Florida is that a major distributor was recently shut down, so most pharmacies don't have any in stock and are having trouble getting more, since a new distributor hasn't taken over, yet. However, if you have been told by some that they can't legally fill yours, then there may be a problem with the prescription itself. There are limits on how many your doctor can prescribe each month. Did you happen to ask why they can't fill it? Learn more Dilaudid details here. ## I know exactly why no body wants to fill anything, anywhere, and there is no distribution problem or limit a doctor can gi...
what kind of percocets are these ## Hello. I have a pill with the # 4829 on one side and v on the other, shape I guess would be oblong and a light yellow in color, what is it please.? ## Hello, CJ and Patricia! How are you both? This tablet is listed in the prescription drug databases as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a generic for Percocet. The FDA lists this as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I seen these why are some light yellow and then others a orangish yellow? I'm pretty confused ## The pale yellow oblong tablets with what looks like a "V" on one side and 4829 o...
I take Tramadol and i need to know if it will come up in my urine as an opiate in a drug test and how long will it stay in my system ## Tramadol is not a typical opiate, so they have to be specifically looking for it to detect it, but if they are, it will be detectable for approximately 4 to 5 days after last dosing. Learn more Tramadol details here. Are there any other questions or comments? ## That information is incorrect. U r rite in saying that Ultram (Tramadol) isn't a narcotic per se... But there is no test available yet on the market or in the hospital to detect the presence of Tramadol in someone's system. Now Methadone or Suboxone do have to be SPECIFICALLY TESTED FOR in order to be detected... They are both opiates but neither will show up on a opiate panel drug scree...
I have been on 300mg of morphine sulfate(immediate and extended release) for 3 years. I am a female, approximately 130 lbs and 5'4". How long would it take to have a clean blood drug screen and a clean urine drug screen? ## After you stop taking it, it will be approximately 4 days for urine and approximately 3 days for blood. The precise time frame can vary due to factors that are unique to each individual, but these are the average times for most people. Learn more drug testing details here. However, if you have a prescription, there is no need to worry, you simply need to inform them of that, when you go in for testing. Are there any other questions? ## To roy..I couldn't find my guestion that u reply ed to about passing a ua after I stopped taking morphine for two weeks a...
I have been taking between 30 -82 mg of oxycodone 3-4 times a day for 3 years and now my doctor wants me to start dilaudid at 8 mg and stop the oxy, but I'm afraid the dilaudid is not equal to the amount of oxy I am on and I will suffer withdrawals. My question is can I take oxy along with the dilaudid so I dont suffer w/d? If so how much oxy can I take? Thank you in advance. ## Hi deliteful, To answer your first question, dilaudid (hydromorphone) doesn't list any drug interactions with oxycodone, so I don't see why you wouldn't be able to take the two together as long as you inform your doctor about it first. On the other hand, because dilaudid IS reported to be much stronger than oxycodone, it's possible that you may not even need to add oxycodone back into the mix...
I am taking 15mg fast acting morphine Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 3times a day then will have urine test on Friday after that. I weigh about 250 have had gastric bypass and drink around 85 ounces of water a day and I run after a 2 year old. Also I am 59 years old. I never took any pain meds before my accident. After the accident and surgeries I found that I was allergic to most pain medications and did not find relief from any of them. My pain clinic docs put me on 150mcg of Fentanyl Patch with leaves me in horrible pain. My docs dont believe me when I tell them I am still in pain, and say that this is the best med they have for me and there is nothing else. They say that I am taking the highest dose recommended. I am allergic to the glue on the patch and most tapes, tegaderm causes more blisters around the edges of the patch also. The only way I can stand having the patch on and not ruin my skin is to take it off for a while and move it to a different location. I also have dilaudid 4mg for breakthrough pain along with gabapentin and tzanidine fo...
After ten years of taking 100 morphine everyday I'm worried that a ua I did after not taking them for two weeks will still show the morphine. ## Lm, you should be clear after a week of not taking them, so if you were not taking the medication for two weeks then I can say with confidence that the urinalysis should not detect any remaining metabolites. (Most of the morphine is excreted within the first day but traces remain for days after). Please reply and let me know the outcome! ## Riy thank u...I go to doctor tomorrow I'll let u know
I have to take a tramadol test tomorrow per my doc agreement, suppose to take 4 a day 1 every 6 hrs, but i only take 1 to 2 a day. Will it show that i dont take the 4 a day 1 every 6hrs? How much do i need to take prior to show enough in my system?
Updated in TramadolCan anyone tell me why every pharmacy in metro Detroit is out of Norco? They don't know when they will be in? Even the pain center that prescribed it with their own pharmacy is out. ## Shortages just sometimes happen, the manufacturers may have trouble obtaining the raw ingredients, shipping problems or etc. The only thing you can really do is wait it out, or speak to your doctor about possibly prescribing an alternative medication in the meantime. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I understand that it's a pain and I'm sorry about that, but the situation should resolve itself soon. Is there anything else I can he...
If I took one of these, how much alcohol can I consume to still be safe ## You shouldn't consume any, while taking a prescription medication. Alcohol can intensify the side effects, so you may experience more nausea, dizziness and drowsiness than usual, as reported by the FDA. However, if your doctor does approve of you imbibing, please make sure you will not be driving, or operating dangerous machinery. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
I found a pill rp on one side 12 on the other small round and pink found out its oxycodone 10 mg. Trying find out if it's the 4 to 6 hr kind or the 12 hour kind ## Hello, Sherry! How are you? Rhodes Pharmaceuticals lists this as being a regular release formulation, so it's the 4 to 6 hour dosing tablet. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Pictures oxymorphone imprinted with cresent ## Hello, Shades! How are you? Those would be tablets manufactured by Actavis Pharmaceuticals.
