Is this medication immediate release or extended release? ## Rhodes Pharmaceuticals lists these are being regular release tablets, so after swallowing them, it takes about 15 to 20 minutes for them to start working. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

Is there purple oxycodone? Op on one side 15 on the other? I found one in my sons room but did not know if it is in fact oxy because of the color ## Hello, Gina! How are you? Purdue Pharma lists this tablet as being gray, which could be perceived as purple by some people. But it is a light color, so if it's dark purple, then it doesn't match. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is it a light color?

Anybody have experience taking Oxycodone Hcl 15mg on tin foil? ## This is not a safe practice. Pills contain fillers and some of them are not meant to be broken down by the human body, they are normally expelled in your waste. When you use the pills in a way they are not intended for, even 'smoking' them, you are putting some of these substance in your body in a way that it cannot properly dispose of them. This could lead to blockages, even in your lungs, that can cause severe health problems. ## I have been smoking oxycodone 30 mg for the past four years. I'm seriously concerned about my Health and having issues trying to quit. But besides that I'm concerned about my lungs. Does anyone know what the side effects are? ## So can you take the rp 15s just like a regular blu...

Does Ultram require a prescription, and is there an over the counter medicine that's equal in effectiveness? ## Yes, Ultram is classified as a mild opioid, so it does require a prescription and, in lines with that, no there is nothing available over the counter that is as effective. The FDA warns that Ultram carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have diabetic neuropathy and uncontrolled sugar levels. I have been on norco for about four years and now my doctor said she has cut my prescription in half and sometimes won't refill it at all because she said it is dangerous if your sugars are out of control. Is this true and why has it never been mentioned before? ## Hello, Kelly! How are you? Some of its typical side effects may mask the symptoms of low blood sugar. For example, the FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness and drowsiness… which could also be symptoms of hypoglycemia. Thus, if someone thinks their only experiencing them due to the opiate and doesn't check their blood sugar levels, they could drop low and may end up in a coma. What do you take for your diabetes? What k...

I want to know if the pill V 3604 is Vicetin and I want to know if it is Vicodin or not it was compared to it ## Hello, Joe! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, so it is a generic for Vicodin. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I just had knee replacement surgery. The surgeon gave me a script for norco 10/325. I also have a regular monthly script from my main Dr for the same medication. If I fill the one from the surgeon will I loose my regular script? ## If the dosing and dosing frequency are the same, then yes, it may cause a problem with both your regular doctor and the pharmacy. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I am reading everywhere that the color should be orangish, and have seen pics online of them being orangish. The ones I have are more off white, but no where near orange. I also read one comment on here saying these are fakes. The V and the 4829 are facing same side up, and the pill looks exactly the same as found online. I feel a little droopy after taking a few, but feels weaker than other percs. Please help!!! ## Hello, Percy! How are you? Qualitest lists them as being yellow, though I admit they do look more orange. Are sure you're reading the marking correctly? Whts the difference between the two pills ip 131 and 464? Which is stronger? Are v / 0027 stronger than the ip pills? ## Hello, Gary! How are you? Both the tablets you listed with the IP on them contain 400mgs of Ibuprofen, this is a prescription dosage of it. It's a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever and swelling. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation. The tablet with 0027 V on it is listed as containing 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Its typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness and headache. Since they aren't the same type of medication, though, you really can't compare which one is stronger. It depends on the condi...

I have got FLEXTRA-D tablets as prescribed by my doctor for my knee pain. I wanted to know that whether it a steroid or not? ## whats the role of flexura d is it steroid or not. ## No, this is not a steroid. Flextra DS contains Acetaminophen and Phenyltoloxamine. Acetaminophen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory used as a pain reliever and fever reducer and the Phenyltoloxamine is an antihistamine that helps enhance its effectiveness. Some of the most common side effects may include: nausea, dry mouth and drowsiness. You can read more about these medications here: Is there anything else I can help you with? ## Hi. HOW LONG DOES IT START WORKING, THE 30mg MORPHINE? ## The regular release or time released tablets will take about 20 to 30 minutes to start working. The instant release formulations work much faster. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and constipation. Read more: Are there any comments or questions? ## How do I tell if my 30mg morphine is extended release or immediate release if I don't have the bottle any more? I have 2 different kinds left but don't know which ones which!? One has a M on one side and Ms30 on the other. The other one has m on one side and abg or something on the other, both are purple.

I have been taking endocet 10/325 for yrs . Several my pharmacy has been out and given me oxycodone 10/325. I find I have to take 2 oxycodone a to 1 endocet . Why is that ? They say its the same I don't agree ## Hello, Molly! How are you? So you were taking the name brand for years? If so, then it does make sense that the generic may not work as well for you. There can be slight differences in the amount of the active ingredients, between the name brand and generics, so if you're used to the name brand and then receive a generic that might be slightly lower, it would only be normal to have such a problem. For most people the differences are negligible and have no real effect, but this happens to people that take something for a very long time or for those who are sensitive to me...

Can you please help me identify this? I can't seem to find any images. ## Hi Shannon, Did you get this pill filled at a licensed pharmacy? Just wondering because Actavis reportedly makes a pill with this same imprint you described, except that theirs is said to be pink in color. Makes me question if an orange version is real or not. This pink pill is identified as a 60mg Morphine sulfate ER tablet, used for moderate to severe pain relief. Images seem hard to come by, but if you wanted to you can also take the pill to your local pharmacy and they'll be able to verify these details in person. I hope this helps!

I have been on endocet 10/325 mg for over 10 years, was a gymnast and now I have a spinal cord stimulator implanted, my dr want me to go out on permanent disability, I refuse, anyway my rx states brand necessary even tho endocet is a generic, I never had a problem getting them now Noone will fill my rx, they say they don't carry it, I work in medical field I know it's a more expensive drug, but if a pharmacy has it, and my insurance covers it with a copay this month the pharmicist tried to charge me $400, when my usual pharmacy never had a problem filling it, I had to go to different pharmacy because it was on backorder, and every other pharmacy wouldn't fill it with a generic cause it states brand, so the other pharmacy tried to make me pay $400 is that legal, very frustrated

I usually take three 5mg generic percocets that are not Instant Release. I just picked up my script and noticed it has been changed to generic OxyIR that is Instant Release. Do I take my dose as usual? What would be the differences or hazards? ## You should take your dose according to whatever your doctor's prescribing instructions are. The difference between the two is that the Percocet contained both Oxycodone and Acetaminophen and was a regular release formula. The OxyIR contains JUST Oxycodone, without the Acetaminophen and is instant release, so it works to relieve your pain much faster. The side effects are about the same, you may experience: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and constipation. Do you have any other questions? ## If you can get it, I have found the perc/oxycodone 1...
