Oxycontin is the name brand for the time released formulation, so none of it is available as a regular release formulation. The regular release formulations of Oxycodone would be OxyIR or Roxicodone, both of which are also available as generics. The OxyIR, which is an instant release is only available in 5mg capsules. However, the regular release is available in 5, 7.5, 15 and 30mg tablets. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. This is just for Oxycodone, by itself. Is there anything else I can help with?
This is the Generic BI-ROXANE which differs from the ENDO BRAND and the ENDO GENERIC, yes they have both and there appears to be no differance between the two. Infact the ENDO AND THE GENERIC ENDO both have the same co-payment with my insurance which I find very odd as the Roxane does not. I get these btw from Walgreens and I'm amazed how many generics they appear to have compared to any other drug store on the planet, ie: Ethex. The 5mg Generic by Roxane has one defferent inactive ingredient than the the IR "instant release" ENDO which is a celulose product and it makes more of a gel than the ENDO ER's "extended release" used for tamper proofing. This may be the way of the future with IR products because it's ruins to some degree the enjoyment some very few ...
my friend was given a pill and was told its something new called an oxyprophin, oxycodone with ibuprofen. It's a white capsule with thin blue powder inside but no imprints on the capsule. I've never seen one or heard of it before and I'm afraid my friend might take something to make him ill. Someone please help... ## There is a formulation on the market that contains 5mgs of Oxycodone and 400mgs of Ibuprofen, it was originally marketed under the name Oxyprofen, but then was changed to Combunox. However, the relevant fact here is that it is a tablet, not a capsule and, as a U.S. manufactured prescription product, it is required to have an imprint to enable its identification. To be even more specific, it is an oblong, white tablet with F P divided by a score line on one side ...
ive been on watson oxy/apap 10/325 for years, and they have always worked wonderfully. last month it was changed to actavis and it feels as if i'm taking HALF THE DOSE! it's HORRIBLE, and not only does it NOT work, it looks just like a tylenol or a norco; white and oblong. my sweet walgreens pharmacist called EVERY pharmacy in my town asking if they carry any watson brand percocet and they have ALL HAVE BEEN REPLACED by this crap brand. i've tried endocet, which is even worse... so now i'm on the hunt to search the town over for any remaining watson. my straight oxy has been changed to KVK brand, and it's nothing like watson, but it isn't completely worthless. i'm so glad i came on here because i really thought it was just me. i thought 'how could i possi...
How to detox from home, I'm trying to get off these 30mg OPs I been prescribed for more than ten years, and I'm tired of the addiction,, please help me find a way to detox...... ## The only thing I can ever say helped me were a couple valium and LOTS of fluids, stay hydrated!!! Good luck!! ## A slow taper is usually best. However, the problem is that these are time released, so you can't cut or break them. How many do take each day? Have you consulted a medical professional for assistance? The FDA lists the typical withdrawal effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, fever, chills, rebound pain, depression and diarrhea.
I want to see a picture of a round pink pill with 20 on one side and 00 on the other side. ## Hello, Shaggy! How are you? Are you referring to the pink tablet with OC on one side and 20 on the other? It is manufactured by Purdue Pharma and they list it as being a 20mg Oxycontin tablet, this is the old formulation. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
What does RP and 833 mean and how do they release? ## Hello, Liz! How are you? What are the entire imprints on the tablets? I need these additional details to answer your question. For instance, there is a round, green tablet with TEVA one one side and 833 on the other that they list as containing 1mg of Clonazepam in a regular release formulation. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Thus, can you please post back? Thanks!
Tramadol marked 377 by Caraco works so well. They get rid of my leg pains and help me with stress. They make me feel so happy. Also, after 2 years of taking them I have only had to up my dose once by a very small amount. 316 and others were not only weaker they also made me sick to my stomach. ## Hello, Calla! How are you? I'm glad you found one that works for you. Has anyone else experienced this? The FDA classifies this medication as an opioid, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
Dalacin for toothinfection Dolan 30 for pain and completing cephalexan for infectio related to bladder sling. Can I take all 3 ## Hello, Bev! How are you? The antibiotics can be taken together and multiple antibiotics are frequently prescribed together to treat severe infections. Thus, it should be fine, as long as your doctor and dentist are aware that you're taking both and approve of such. The FDA lists the typical side effects of antibiotics as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. However, the only medication I can find under the name Dolan is listed as containing Ibuprofen, so there is no 30mg dosage of it. Can you please double check the name and spelling, then post back? Thank you!
How long does hydromorphone and hydrochloride remain in your bloodstream before being metabolized? ## Hello, Chucky! How are you? Hydromorphone Hydrochloride is actually just one substance, not two. The Hydrochloride just designates the specific chemical salt that the medication is derived from. It usually only takes about 11.5 to 15.6 hours, but that could increase to 40 hours, if someone has renal impairment. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
BRING BACK AVINZA! I've had Chronic Pain for 36 years daily. For almost 25 years now I've been taking strong Narcotics, mostly though I've been taking one kind of Morphine or another. But the best I've had for my C1-C2 Pain, and head, facial, and upper body Pain (that is also somewhat due to severe head injury, and the multiple head and face injuries that I had) has been AVINZA! It worked so well for my Pain and in relation to my body, that I classified it as a Miracle drug. I'm having a hard time finding a replacement, as of yet one year later I have NOT found one that compares anywhere close to it, though I can't get MS Contin, or Oxy-Contin paid for and which I'd like to try again with the correct dosage; as when I used it years ago it was not at all being...
I have some pills but I don't know what they are. Can you help me out please? Do I take them SUBSTITUTED FOR Roxicodone 5mg? ## Hello, Amy! How are you? These are a generic for Roxicodone. They contain 5mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation, as listed by the manufacturer Sun Pharmaceuticals. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
Hi...I have been on tramadol for several years for restless leg syndrome and arthritis in my hip... What can i take instead of tramadol that is just as effective. My rls is really bad. My hips also particularly at night. Can you suggest anything i can ask my doctor? I take 50mg every 6 hours or so sometimes it doesnt help. Tysm! ## Hello, Rose! How are you feeling? I'm sorry that you're in so much pain. Tramadol is very mild opiate, so most others are stronger and would likely help you more, even in low doses. The FDA classifies this medication as an opioid analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. However, there are also higher doses of Tramadol available that your doctor...
Looks like an oxycodone - it has m inside a square and 30 on back on top of the line. But it is white in color, not pale blue - just WHITE. What could it be? ## Aside from the color, everything else in your description matches up with a typical 30mg Oxycodone IR pill made by Mallinckrodt. My first assumption is that if you didn't get it filled at a licensed pharmacy, then it's probably counterfeit. These days they do a pretty good job of making them look legitimate, so you can never be too certain unless you were to have the pill analyzed by a lab or drug panel to at least verify the presence of an opiate. Even then, without going through a licensed pharmacy the fillers and binding agents could be comprised of poison for all we know... If it doesn't look like the legitimate ...
Hi I have been on percocets for the past few years and see a licensed paine doctor in the state of Florida I use 2 pharmacy's Target and CVS, recently Ive have had bad experiences with this company and the effect of the medication Im prescribed up to 8 a day which I do not usually have to take these pills are doing nothing for my pain when I ask the pharmacist what brand they have they look at me crazy the only brand that really worked was roxicet 5/325.any other complaints about aurolife percocetts u 15 thanks rich ## Hi Rich, Although I'm not prescribed Aurolife Percocet, I think it would be a good idea to look into which inactive ingredients might be causing it to not work as well as other manufacturer's versions you've had a good experience with. This way you can mor...

Curious about these pills. Small yellow, round, L imprint (NOT black L like aspirin). These things are supposedly Percoset 15, if you search the Internet there are tons of people asking what these are. Would love to find definite answer that is not aspirin, I have searched for an aspirin that looks like this and can't find that either. It's like a mystery med.
Updated in AspirinI take 2 Percodan a day and ran out except for 1 pill. This is a strong narcotic pain medication. ## would this pill be stronger than a regular percocet ## is it stronger than a regurlar percocet?? ## White round pill with APO on one side and 5.325 on the other is Percocet. It is Oxycodone 5 mg/Acetaminophen 325 mg. Percodan contains Aspirin and not Acetaminophen.
whats the difference between it and Percocet ## Hello, Dixie! How are you? Meperidine, the active ingredient in Demerol is much, much weaker. For example, for each 10mgs you take it, you only need 0.67mgs of Oxycodone to be equivalent. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
