If I take two different pills, one that's marked 224 30mg and the other pill marked 14 (20mg) - [both I understand are oxycodone] - Does that equal 50mg? And is that okay? Side effects the same? I've been taking pain meds for 10 years. ## Yes, that would be the same as taking 50mgs and no, it is not too high of a dose, if you're opiate tolerant. I just realized my painkillers are not scored down the middle,they are small yellow round tablets with an fancy V on one side and 230 on other.It it okay to break them? That's actually meant to be an oriental C, it is logo used by Alvogen and yes, they list them as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen in a regular release formulation, so they can be cut or broken, if your doctor approves. I'm in so much pain right now and I took a naproxen about 6 hours ago(which unfortunately hasn't helped) and I also have a script for norco. Is it ok to take the norco now? ## Hi Princess02, Sorry to hear about your pain. From what I could gather, there aren't any drug interactions listed between Naproxen and Norco (hydrocodone + acetaminophen). And with that said I don't have any real reason to believe that it isn't ok to use them together. However this is not to say that their own individual side effects are any less of a risk. So if you do happen to experience bothersome symptoms (knock on wood) I would still encourage you to contact your doctor just to be on the safe side. On a Friday night I had 2 cans of Bourbon and someone put a 100 mg capsule of Tramadol into my second drink. I later found that the brand was Topdol and the capsule was green. It made me feel like crap. It is now Monday and I am still feeling very crappy, like a tingling sensation all over my body, and this intense feeling in my head. I have never had Tramadol before and need to know if this is normal or if i need to seek medical help. I am quite a small person, and since that Friday night have avoided alcohol and any other type of drug. I have been drinking lots and lots of water and eating fruits and vegetables to try cleanse my system of this crap, but still no luck feeling better. Found two small, round, white pills. I know generic oxy can be white. One has a KU on one side and perforation on the other side (along with something you can't read.. seems to be a O or a zero). The other pill has no perforation, but has PA on one side, and 308 on the other. Hi, I'm hoping to get some help from someone. I get prescribed 50 mcg fentanyl patches and 30, 5mg/325 of Oxycodone monthly from my pain management doctor to help my pain. I try and get all my medicines filled in base, but sometimes I can't get to the pharmacy during there hours of operation. I've gone to like 7 different pharmacies, mostly cvs and can never get my pain meds from them. They tell me they don't have any. I get the patches, but up until recently have never dealt with this for the oxy. Can someone tell me an off base pharmacy that carries these prescriptions that keeps these meds in stock? You would be so very helpful.

I took 60mg of hydrocodone on Wednesday with the last dose being around 5pm and had to take a urine drug screen for the drug on Monday at 1pm. The urine test was sent to a lab. Was given to me at pharmacy...But I can't find them any where. ## Hi Shonta, There is a white round tablet imprinted with R P 30, that's identified as a 30mg Oxycodone hydrochloride pill. However I haven't seen an actual photograph and can only base this off of a description from Rhodes Pharmaceuticals (hence the R P). That said, these descriptions are somewhat vague and do not mention whether or not there is a score line. Although from what I'm finding, no other pill description matches yours as closely as this one does. So I'd be willing to bet that Oxycodone is what it is. I went to the hospital like three weeks ago. for really bad pain in both of my knees it happens every time the weather changes and it keeps me up crying all night because they are killing me. The ER prescribed movie two prescriptions one wus ibuprofen 800 milligrams. A nother prescription 18 count of 50 milligrams of tramadol. My dr switched my oxycodone 30mg to dilaudid 8 mg. I am wondering how they compare to one another? ## Based on my research, Dilaudid is much stronger then Oxycodone, but it doesn't last very long in it's immediate release formula. Oxycodone has an extended release formula (Oxycontin); which may be better suited for some people when used chronically for long term pain relief. 8mg of Dilaudid is "roughly equivalent" to 20mg of Oxycodone. This information is based on my own findings and is not relative to each individual's body chemistry or cross tolerance, as every drug can effect each person differently. I just started taking Lyrica after being weened off Cymbalta. Cymbalta is horrible and would never, EVER, recommend this medication. Anyway, I suffer from depression also and having severe pain doesn't help. I went to my psychiatrist and told him that I couldn't take the pain any more and want it to end and was baker acted and put in a crisis unit!
