If I take a 30mg today and then the 2 remaining the night befor my appt, how will my levels test? ## I just want to know if there is a way to detect how much Oxycodone you have been taking and how do you test that ## Michael, Absolutely there is BUT for accurate level specificity you must know the testing protocols that entity utilizes. UNLESS you know that any information people offer is mere SPECULATION. Anyone that says otherwise is completely misinformed. ## First I hope you got them from a pharmacy and not the street where many fake 30's are. If not from my experiences one of two things may have happened. First it may have been a bad test and needs to be retaken so ask for that. Se...

Hi. I am a 61 year old male with a history of asthma and an MI 15 years ago. I had a kidney stone this week and went to the hospital. They gave me two successive ivs of toradol (pain continued after first) along with 4 liters of saline iv. The stone passed into my bladder and my pain relented. After discharge they gave me a prescription for toradol tabs and flowmax. I noticed the first day that my breathing was shallow and I was out of breath with the least exertion. Steroids and salmeterol didn't help my breathing much. I thought it was an aftereffect of the kidney stones until I read toradol side effects. Now 24 hours after I stopped taking Toradol I am still short of breath. How long can I expect this to continue? ## Hello, John! How are you? Are you still taking the Flowmax? Acc...

Updated in MorphineI have been prescribed Fentanyl every 48 hours for a few years now. Since this latest CDA recommendation, my pain clinic doctor has reduced me from 100mcg down to a 75mcg, and he claims he is required by CDA to lower me even more! I have severe chronic pain and I am 56 years old. But he claims the CDA wants all his patients drastically reduced or taken off meds. When I researched that claim and showed him that the CDA has only made suggestions, he is now saying the FDA doesn't want Fentanyl to be prescribed q48 anymore - he says he is now going to make me go a full 72 hours!! I cannot be reduced any further, I can barely function at work as it is because the pain is no longer under control now. Is he lying to me? How can they mandate Fentanyl must be worn 72 hours when there's s...

I am trying to find out what the letter "c" and the letter "n" stand for at the beginning of my rx number. Example - n123456 on my oxycodone and for my lomotil, alprazolam and loratab it looks like this Example-c123456. I know the prescriptions are all controlled but my doctor can write refills and call in my "c" prescriptions and I have to have the hard copy written in order to get my "n" prescriptions. My wife is retiring so I'm going to have to change my health insurance and I know oxycontin will not be covered. I have polio and am on permanent disability, I'm taking 3 20mgs of oxy a day and trying to figure out what to ask for. I have a great doctor and he will pretty much ask me what I want. I don't want any but I've tried that and ended up in too much pain to even function. At one time I was taking 4 80's a day for years but took myself off. Not a fun experience but I also did it because I knew this day was coming for my wife to retire. Anyway, I really need something stronger but am reluctant to go there. I was taking #10 loratab before going back on low dose of oxy but they were making me sick. I'm thinking maybe morphine? I don't know, I've heard...
