No registration is required and your identity remains anonymous.has anyone been on a pain pump and been weaned? i am over medicated and cant get a new medication provider anywhere within a 200 mile range because i already have a pain pump implanted. my current p.m. provider is saying side effects from pain pump med being stopped is "impossible" i say b.s. i was on 3.6 mg per day of Dilaudid in Sept of 2012 and .36 in my PA dose up to 4 times a day. in January the dr increased me to 6.6 in simple continuous and .66 in the PA up to 6 doses a day for break through pain. this was looked at by another dr who said it was an 83% increase! does anyone know if that is accurate? and the dr said it was also 83% increase of my PA as all doses were activated. on march 5 i was dropped from 6.6 to 6 in simple continuous and then 1.66 to 1.6! that was hard ...
Hi my story is on the same wave length as far as Pain Meds go. I was so disgusted when it was time to get my Meds that l would literally think about dealing with the pain and weening myself off of all my Meds. I went through all sorts of scenarios, but the best part was after getting my Meds from the same pharmacy after 4-5 times, they would still look at me like l just tore off their arm and stuck it in my mouth or l had 3 heads. Well what l decided to do WAS STOP taking all tangible drugs! (anything l could hold in my hand) l approached my rehab doc and discussed what my options were. What l changed over to was a Medtronic Pain pump. The process was very simple, went into the hospital, had it implanted into my right side, above my hip. The Meds that are in my pump are morphine and ano...

I am prescribed to take 6 10mg Percocet a day and haven't taken in a while, trying 2 come off, but now my Dr wants a drug test for the first time in years. How many do I have 2 take and for how long? I wanna still get them bc I do need more some months than others depending on my daughter's activities. Please help me out. Thanks in advance. ## I'm prescribed percocet 10/325. I was in mva on Oct 26th, 2016. Took more than was prescribed. I will be having my levels checked in 7 days. Also, I ran out and used a supplement for pain. What do I say and will this supplement show up?
I was given these in a clinic in Vancouver B.C. They looked like es Vic.but no writing at all.just a line on one side nothing on the other.extremely hard 2 break in half,& they were light pink inside.terrible taste. ## Hi Ana, While it may be true that different manufacturers have quality control issues, I don't think there should be any reason to believe that they're counterfeit, if you were given these by a doctor/pharmacist at a clinic. Did they inform you that this was Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen or what is it that led you to assume it was? From an outside perspective, this could literally be anything if there are no markings to identify it by. However I've never ever heard of licensed pharmacies dispensing fake pills. Perhaps it wasn't stored properly, causing the...

I weigh 104 pounds and I have a very high metabolism. I'm on probation. I have chronic back and knee pain and so I take percocet with tylonol in it every once in awhile. Lately I've been hurting even worse and so yesterday I had about 30 mg of percocet in me and today (Tuesday) I took 20mg. I'm expecting a urine test on thursday. Is there any way I can pass it? And no, I'm not a pill head, I don't take them to get high, I take them for my pain. Will somebody please help me? I can't get locked up again because my mother has to have another neck surgery soon and I need to be there for her. ## I weigh 105, have been on opiates for ten years. Will I pass a urine test in four days? ## If you have a prescription written in your name I don't see a problem. If you ar...
I need to sleep. I've been having problems sleeping. I am having back surgery in a few days and cannot take blood thinners. Can I take Tylenol PM? ## No, it is not a blood thinner, the manufacturer lists it as containing Acetaminophen and Diphenhydramine. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and drowsiness. However, it is always best to double check with your doctor, before taking anything, before surgery. Is there anything else I can help with?
Is it really norco? I just got my refill today and they are not working as well as my previous prescription. ## Hi Yaya, My research from the manufacturer depicts a white oval tablet marked with 2172 to be identified as a generic Hydrocodone Bitartrate 5mg + Acetaminophen 325mg pill. For verification, it carries a National Drug Code of 0591-2172 and is reportedly a product of Actavis Pharmaceuticals that from what I could gather, seems like a newer generic tablet since information about it is relatively sparse on the internet. Hope this helps! ## I have the exact same problem ! The ones with the 2172 do not work the same as the 3604 did . How is this even possible ? Or is it. Are they exactly the same ?
My doctor currently has me on 15 mgs of morphine sulfate and is NOT going to prescribe oxycodone... Isn't this stronger? Have had 3 back surgeries since August... I can't stand up for more than 15 minutes.... Isn't there anything more I can do? Haven't had any kind of life for months... ## Oxycodone is one a half times stronger then Morphine, according to NIH reports, however, there are higher doses of it that can be prescribed, if your doctor is will to do so. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Have you also tried any physical therapy? ## Thanks for your reply. I have not used MedsChat before... What do you know about morphine inj'...
It's white and round the # is 5768. I was wondering what it is and what it does? never took it before. I found it in my pill bottle with my pain relief pills. I just wanna know what it is and what kid of drug is it and what does it all do. If you can tell me. Thank you. ## Hello, Nicole! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Teva Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 5mgs of Olazapine. The FDA classifies Olanzapine as being an atypical antipsychotic that is most commonly used to treat mental health disorders. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, mood swings and weight changes. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Does work to go to sleep? Teva5768 ## It helps but not the best sleep pill. More for psychosis I feel it's h...
I constantly end up with a tropical viral infection in my one eye only. Please advise what I can use to clear it and how I can prevent getting it again? Also, are there any tests that one can have done to get to the root of the problem? I had a cataract eye op about four months ago and I am 68. I am in pretty good health and not on any drugs or heavy medication. I only take vitamins and health drinks when I feel I need an extra boost. The only thing I suffer from is sinuses and usually try one of the following over the counter meds: Advil cold & sinus tablets, Linctagon-C and Texas allergy 10mg. Regards.
Updated in AdvilCan I get a prescription for norco 7.5 for a surgery I just had a day before I get my usual prescription of hydrocodone 10mg from my pm dr., and not get in trouble? ## Hello frank. I am in GA and I go to pain management for a severe back problem. I signed a narcotic agreement that states I cannot get a pain med prescription from another dr and fill out, without getting permission from the pain dr first. Hope this helps. ## Momof3 is correct, it depends on your doctor's policies and what you agreed to, when you started seeing them. Additionally, since this is a lower dosage than the one you usually take, it isn't likely to help much. The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mout...
Had a hip fracture, took hydrocodone and norco for pain from 5/7 to 5/16, took last 325 mg of hydrocodone on Monday 5/17. Is it ok to have a cocktail tonight (Friday 5/20)? Thank you in advance. ## Hello, Karnie! How are you? It should be, as long as your doctor approves of your imbibing, but you may feel a little more dizzy and drowsy than usual. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with? ## You didn't take the Hydrocodine and Norco together I hope as they are the same ## One other thought, the 325 mg is the tylenol in the pill
What is the difference between Preglobin-M capsules & Gabastar-M tablets? ## Preglobin M contains Pregabalin with Methylcobalamin, and Gabastar M contains Gabapentin with Methylcobalamin, according to NIH drug indexes. However, both are used to treat the same conditions. The side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, mood swings, and weight gain.
I am currently looking for a doctor in Berks County that will take over my oxycodone prescription from my last doctor who was in a different state. I am looking for a Doctor who will look at my record from my last doctor and not give me any grief for taking over my prescription.
Updated in OxycodoneI can now only get hydrocodone IP119 10/500 in the state where i live and i would like to know the difference between that and the blue lortab, which is what i am used to ## The tablet marked IP 119 contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a generic for Lortab, which is a narcotic pain reliever. However, there is no blue name brand Lortab, so I can't tell you anything about the other tablet from just the color. Do you know who the manufacturer is, or the markings that were on them? ## Actually, the IP 119 is a hydrocodone and ibuprofen combination. The lortab will contain acetaminophen INSTEAD OF ibuprofen. Both are narcotic analgesics known as hydrocodone. ## No, even if you do a Google search, you will see that my post was correct and the tablet marked IP 1...
I was just wondering what the difference between Oxycodone and Hydrocodone, it seems to me they both have the same ingredients. Why Oxy or Hydro, what does this mean? ## I AM JUST WONDERING WHAT COLORS AN OXYCODONE [ETHEX041] CAPSULE LOOKS LIKE? ## Ethex 041 Pill Image ## Oxycodone and Hydrocodone No, they are not the same, Hydrocodone is a strong narcotic, but Oxycodone is much stronger, and both work differently for different people. Some people do better and get better results from on or the other. Oxy is also available by itself in tablet or capsule form from 5mgs to 30mgs, Instant Release, and from 10mg to 80mgs in a controlled release form, as well as the forumulations that couple the instant release Oxy with Ibuprofen, Aspirin, or Acetaminophen. Hydrocodone is not available by it...
What is the strongest OTC medication that will alleviate excruciating pain in my back and shoulders in a timely manner? Your quickest response to my message will be greatly appreciated! Happy and safe Holidays to ALL! ## The strongest medications available over the counter would be nonsteroidal anti-inflammatories, such as Advil and Aleve. The FDA lists their typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and stomach irritation. However, before taking anything, you should have this checked in order to figure what's causing the pain and what your doctor advises you to take for it. Are you on any prescription medications? Do you have any other medical conditions?
I have been taking the Pink one for over seven yrs, for breakthrough pain from an injured neck which has been rebuilt from C-4 - C7. Can anyone tell me IF these are the same or is one stronger or different from the other? I have tried the white knock-off 7.5's in the past and got very sick from them. I need to find out IF there really is a difference? Thank You! ## I cannot tell you anything about them, without knowing the markings on the tablets, that is what identifies them and the dosage. The colors do not mean anything. If you can post back with these details, I will gladly check for you. Do you still have them, so you can provide the imprint? ## Oval white one side 5 other side 8p 648 ## The pink one, I believe is 10mg oxycodone and the white one is either a Percocet or Vicodin...
