Why did Hydrocodone/Acet 10/375 increase 600% since last year? I have been taking the medication for over 13 years after a 6 doctor team labored for months com up with something that would relieve my lifelong pain from a 2-story fall. I have been paying $6.00 /mo for 270 tablets, until this year. I went to pick up my refill an it was $35. Insurance moved it from Tier 2 to Tier 3 with no explanation. I need to find a doc in ky that can help me with my pain. I've been going for years now and they decided to take me off my meds. The doctors want to give me shots in my back and I don't want that. I have been taking Percocet 10 for over 4 years and now they just want to give me ms contin 15 which gives me a bad headache and doesn't help my pain. I don't want a doc to overload me on meds. I have been taking three 4mg hydromorphone pills per day, for the past several months for chronic neck, back and leg pain. During two recent urine tests, the hrdromorphone was detected...but at a calculation smaller than what the doctor expected. My last urine test showed that NO hydromorphone was detected in my urine...even though I continued to take the pills as prescribed. What might cause these false readings. I take a regimen of other medications for other medical challenges, I also suffer from IBS and go to the restroom frequently each day and I am on a direuratic which causes me to urinate many times each day. Has anyone had experience with the Endo Brand Oxy? I usually take the Barnd Name only but they were out. It doesn't seem to be as strong, but of course the pharmacist says, They're all the same! ## Found Tablet with light green and oval 99 on top and 33 other side. ## The generic is a weaker form than the brand name. How long will it take to get my results from a urine test that i took on 01/06/17 through a pain management facility? I am also signed up online to review tests; but I don't see anything in the portal even stating I was ordered a urine test.

I have chronic pain and take 7.5/500 the usually takes 1-1.5 hours to work ## @Chris, This greatly depends on the person taking the medication. Some people start to feel relief in 20 minutes and some people do not feel it until 2 hours have passed. There are many factors at work here. It can also depend on whether or not you have taken the medication before, how much you have taken before, whether you took them on an empty stomach or not, what your personal metabolism is, if there were other medications taken with it or recently, etc. I think the "average" time is given as 30 minutes to one hour for it to kick in. However if your pain is really that severe, I wonder if the medication's effects would eventually reach a plateau due to an increased tolerance. I'd also take ...

I take kadian 100ml for pain. Sometimes I run out a day or 2 early because of unbearable pain and I have to take hydromorphone. The thing is that kadian is a sulphate and hydromorphone isn't and I get urine tested. What should I do? ## Claude, That will not work if you took hydromorphone (dilaudid) that will show up in your urine screen. Even if you tried to use a rapid flush you run the risk of ELIMINATING the presence of the kadian as well which would be far worse for testing negative you'd most likely be dismissed since they would think your diverting kadian Your pretty much in a very bad spot. I was originally prescribed hydromet which I know has a narcotic in it the pharmacy gave me chlo tuss liquid! From my research this product has no narcotic in it. It was originally prescribed to relieve my cough at bedtime and help me sleep. Please help is this the same or was I dooped at my pharmacy and this has no pain reliever!!! ## Amber, Chlo tuss liquid does NOT contain hydrocodone nor any other opiate type preparation. These pills if held in between lip and gum can help you very much , IF you are trying to slow down on how many you've been taking? They release enough med fast to do the job, but yet they dissolve and hold just enuff med to trickle out almost all night!!! Hi. I have been taking oxy 15's four times a day for the past five years. I have gone through two doctors, as the constant drug testing and pill counts have resulted in unfair dismissals from wonderful physicians who had no choice, as it was hospital policy. I am so tired of being treated like a drug seeker. I suffer from degenerative arthritis in my hips, bulging discs in lumbar spine, fibromyalgia, sacroiliac joint dysfunction as well as depression and panic disorder. I have not had any relief from pain in over 10 months. I have two young children and I can barely provide for their basic care and needs. WHITE OVAL PILL WITH IP466 ON ONE SIDE AND NOTHING ON THE OTHER SIDE ## I believe IP 466 to be Ibuprofen 800 mg, although information on this pill is vague. Another related discussion thread on this site also implies an 800 mg Motrin (which contains Ibuprofen as the active ingredient). The manufacturer is reportedly Amneal. I have tried every pain med there is. I'm allergic to the slow release meds. What ever is in them that let's them release slow brakes me out in hives. It took almost two years of trying diffrant meds to find the one that works. Now the Rehab center says after about 8 years they will not prescribe my oxycodone anymore.if that's not Bad enough the new doctor only gave me enough to get though for a week are two. I found an orange peach pill that say ABG or EBG on one side (its hard to tell) and the number 40 on the other. It's round. ## ABG 40 is Oxycodone Controlled Release 40mgs, a generic for Oxycontin. A very strong narcotic pain reliever, very addictive and with some pretty heavy side effects. ## I know this is an old thread but wanted to post an update. Currently I believe this old pill has been superseded by the 40 mg extended release (OP version) from Teva. It is round and yellow with the imprint OP 40. NDC code 0093-5733 for anyone who is interested.

There can be slight fluctuations in generic medications and the inactive ingredients can be completely different, so you may be sensitive to any change in the dosage, or to an inactive filler of some type.
