Good doc (but crowded office) but it's too far for me to drive. Anyone know of any other doctors in NJ that would prescribe 15mg or 30mg oxycodone? I was taking 90 15's per/mo. Tried living with out the pain killers but it's almost impossible. Any help would be appreciated! ## Hello, Keith! How are you doing? I'm very sorry that you're in pain. Due to the new regulations that were put in place by the DEA last year, you'll need to see a pain management specialist, if you require such medications on a long-term ongoing basis. A general practice physician won't be able to prescribe it for you. The FDA lists this medication as a narcotic ana...
Is Watson discontinuing the 7.5-325 pill ## WATSON 3203 is identified as Acetaminophen 325mg + Hydrocodone bitartrate 7.5mg. From what I could gather, Watson's website still lists this medication on their product page. However the color is different than what you described. So I do believe they stopped making the orange one. Watson 3203 is now a white oblong/oval pill with the following National Drug Code (NDC): 00591-2605. The dosage does remain the same though. Ref: actavis.com/en/Products Watson 3203 Inactive Ingredients (white version): -Cellulose, Microcrystalline -Croscarmellose Sodium -Magnesium Stearate --------------------------------- -Croscarmellose Sodium -Crospovidone -Magnesium Stearate -Cellulose, Microcrystalline -Povidones -Starch, Corn -Stearic Acid The National Dr...
Can humans take animal meds, like pain meds, etc? If so, are they available over the counter instead of needing an rx? ## I would like to know the answer to this myself! In the meantime kratom is still legal and I hope they keep it that way even though it's nothing compared to pain medication. It's at least something. For some people it actually saves lives. People with other problems besides just pain. Not that pain is just anything! Pain is horrible!
I have degenerative disc disease of the neck and back with cracks in my neck and 3 bulging discs also in my neck. I also have fibromyalgia and at the moment a broken ankle. I'm having the worst time trying to find a pain management specialist who prescribes pain medicine anymore. They have different guidelines now where they don't even prescribe anything for you. Does anyone know of a good pain management specialist who doesn't give a crap about the DEA or follows the guidelines but if someone needs the pain medication they will actually give the pain medication? Some doctors are actually turning cancer patients down now! I know the DEA has guidelines but I don't even think they meant for the doctors to do that. They're just thinking about losing their license if they p
UpdatedAnybody know of pharmacies in the Los Angeles area that carries the Qualitest Hydrocodone 10-325. My pharmacy switched to another brand. As I have tried them all (back surgery) Qualitest works best for me. Thanks. ## Hi Jay here still looking. Qualitest is by far the most effective medication in it's class in my opinion. I live in Long Beach CA, and can't find a pharmacy that carries this brand. Anybody in the LA area have any input as to the availability of this product. Thanks again ## Bristol Pharmacy in Irvine has them. I have had my left arm reattached, right wrist broken last year and a total of 3 broken ankles. And metal in two parts of my body. I am always in pain. I understand and only wish that people and the FDA could work together to hep people in pain. It can be ver...
I went to the dentist and had an abscessed tooth and was prescribed Norco pain pills and I am on parole. Is Norco a opiate and will it come up as a opiate on the drug test ## will i be denied employment if i test positive for norco?will it show as an opiate?I also have a legit script ## it doesnt matter if you were prescribed it then it doesnt matter if you fail the test, but to answer your question norco is hydrocodone which most probation/parole tests for. It depends on what panel test they use however. Hydrocodone is a widely abused substance so they will most likely be testing for it. Most PO's have 10 panel tests which test for oxycodone, opaites, methadone, hydrocodone, LSD, cocaine and I cant remember the rest of the top of my head but I am sure you can google ten panel test ...
If you take Nucynta on a daily basis, will it show up positive for Opiates in a Urine Drug Screen Dipstick ## on a pre-employment urine test would opt the code on and heroin show up as the same thing as opiates or would they be able to distinguish the two of them ## i put on a fentanyl 50mcg/hr bout 8 oclock tonight and was wondering if itll show up as oxy or a opiate? cuz i have to take a probation drug test their random and i could be called tomorrow need to know if itll show up as oxy? ## Will a Mylan Fentanyl Patch show up any 6 monacetylmorphine if I give a urine drug test and if so, for how long after will it still show in my system ## It won't show as anything. There's a totally different test for people on Fentanyl. Norfentanyl. Nothing will show up on a regular opiate t...
My wife got paralysis stroke on the left side of her face in May 2011 due to high BP. It was cured after hospital treatment. After one year she got post paralysis symptoms like her left eye was burning and felt painful, water discharge from nose, backside of her head felt like it was burning, right hand burning. The uneasiness from these conditions were observed everyday, every 6hrs and the suffering lasts 1hr. We have consulted so many neuro physicians and surgeons with no use. We have used Neugaba, gabarich, Trigabantin, Lyrica pregabalin. So far there's been slight improvement observed but still suffering from eye pain. Due to this, the patient is not able to sleep at night causing weakness and headache. Moreover, she is diabetic type 2 since last year and using medicine for that...
Just had a root canal. I took 1 hydrocodone 7.5/325 mg and 800 mg of ibuprofen and I'm still in a lot of pain. What else can I do? ## Stacy, Not much, it may take time for the trauma of the root canal therapy to subside. I highly doubt your dentist can or will rx anything stronger. Did they order an antibiotic? Rinsing with warm water may assist as well. Try to rest. The medication sometimes needs time to thoroughly provide relief. If all else fails follow up with the dentist in the am. ## Thank you. I was on one antibiotic but she added another one and a steroid because I wasn't getting any pain relief. Also, my cheek on the same Side as root canal was red and hot to the touch. Since starting additional meds I'm finally feeling some relief. ## Stacy, That's awesome I...
I was wondering if Percocet 5 and Percocet 10 would show up the same on a drug test? ## The difference is that Percocet contains Acetaminophen + Oxycodone; while standard Oxycodone is the only drug in and of itself. Depending on the type of drug test and how efficient it is, some of the the standard tests typically used for screenings lack the sensitivity to distinguish beyond the basic structures of the drug class vs. the drug name. In any case, it is best to be upfront and honest about which drugs you are taking, providing them proof of your prescription(s) and understanding the possibility of a false positive result. Specific testing, such as that done by a gas chromatograph mass spectrometer, actually has the ability to distinguish the exact substance in question. This type of testi...
I have been taking 3 ibuprofen for jaw pain after having roots extracted for future implants. The dr had prescribed hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5-325, but I don't like the way it makes me feel. I was trying to cut back on pain meds after 4 days, so I took 2 of the ibuprofen instead of 3. It isn't helping, so can I add 1/2 of a hydrocodone pill or would it be better to take a 3rd ibuprofen pill? ## Scottie, If the hydrocodone was causing undesirable side effects taking an additional Ibuprophen would certainly not hurt. You may wish to take it with milk or something to coat your stomach .so long as you don't exceed the daily max.dose of any NSAID you will be fine.Hope you feel better soon,Kenie.
need to know what legit pharmacies are still carrying Oxycontin 40 mg Genrics in central coast california ## There is no generic Oxycontin, anywhere in the U.S. There are some provided by Ethex, however, they are just licensed distributors for Purdue and the stuff you get that has their name on it is the same stuff manufactured by Purdue. For awhile, they have still had a supply of the original Oxycontin OC, however, since Purdue has discontinued it, once their supply is exhausted, Ethex will also only be able to provide the new Oxycontin OP. I realize many people are unhappy about this change, there have been many reports that the new Oxycontin OP does not work as well as the original and that is caused odd side effects, however, the fact of the matter is that soon, no one will be able...
Day 2 (36 hours) into withdrawal. I dont feel to bad at all. A little tired, sweat at night bit slept well. Am I out of the woods yet? Yesterday evening was terrible, my body felt like I had to move my arms and legs. But I slept through the night. Getting ready to get ip now and prepare for my day ## That is a very low dose, so your withdrawal effects are likely to be mild, unless you've been taking it a lot of it each day, or been on it for a very long period of time. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic that carries the risk of being habit forming and its withdrawal effects may include nausea, dizziness, fever, chills, diarrhea and rebound pain. How are you feeling, now? Any change? ## Yes I have been taking almost 100 mg of oxycodone per day then about two weeks ago I...
Found an orange oblong pill that has "mot" on it. Kind of odd to be Motrin 1b as it is usually stamped on the pill. ## Motrin was the first thing that came to my mind as well. But even if it might not be "Motrin Ib" I'd still speculate as to whether it's another form of Motrin, such as this one from CVS (but without the full imprint intact depending on its condition?): Motrin.jpg How do the letters "mot" appear on your tablet? -Are they inked on or embedded? Sometimes various dollar stores also have their own unique brand of OTC meds that bear different markings than what you might find at general pharmacies. Just something else to consider I suppose. Wish I could've been of more help!
Hi, I've been taking half a 15mg oxycodone every morning around 9am. I don't like how a whole one makes me feel and I can still function with only a half. I usually take 1 whole 10/325 norco at that time but I'm out of them so I'm stuck taking the oxycodone. For the past 4 days I've been taking 1 daily 30mg adderall tablets(instant release) about 2 hours after taking the oxycodone half. I was taking 1 daily 30mg vyvanse for the past few months but I wanted to try adderall for awhile and see which seemed better to me. My issue is... can I take another adderall, but only half of it? Every time I take the adderall, a couple hours later I feel blah and just sit for awhile doing nothing, I like the adderall but I don't like the quick wear off. I'm hoping I didn...

I have five perforated disc and when I go to my primary care and my pain management they refused to give me any pain meds but when I end up in the ER they end up giving me 10 to 30 pills Best part is I'm allergic to them and I always refuse but I've been in the ER or four times this past three months and without failure they ke...
I'm 60 and live west of Chicago I have severe back problems and I'm looking for a new pain clinic.I've been taking OxyContin 40 mg twice a day and it needs to be increased, but the Doctor won't do it. So I'm presently looking for a new doctor to prescribe Pain medication. I don't do illegal drugs I'm just looking for pain relief. ## Who do you currently see that won't give an increase ## Howard, Nice try lol people aren't that stupid I'll give you and c for effort but that doc who won't give her an increase WONT BE SEEING YOU. Lol how lame
My husband is on OxyContin because he is disabled is there anyway to fill out a form for help of payment for these? Every year we try to find an insurance company to help out with paying for these and they are way over our heads. ## Purdue Pharma does have a patient assistance program, that may be able to help you, but only if you have no other type of prescription insurance. The other criteria include that you must be a U.S. resident and have an income at, or below 200% of the federal poverty level. His doctor would need to request an application and there are sections that both the doctor and patient have to sign, the doctor then sends the application with a prescription attached. If you meet the eligibility criteria, the medication will be shipped to your home. To get the application...
My neuro knows about this pain. I feel like he just doesn't care. I can't help but think that if I had BC/BS that he'd pay attention. I have to admit that I can't help but think that this guy is a Sadist. ## Hello, Janet! How are you? I'm very sorry that you're in pain. What's causing your pain? Why do you feel your doctor isn't paying attention. I'm sorry, but you weren't very clear in your post. Have you considered getting a second opinion? ## my neuro won't call me back. I have had MS I have been on Tysarbri infusions since 2006. My left leg has a burning pain in my thigh. I had an appt. on Oct.22 and my neuro said that he believes me then. I feel ignored because he want return my calls. Jan 8th he called me and he called in rx for ultram f...
Hey, I recently had an MRI on my back which showed about 5 bulging & messed up disks in my back, also I have early onset of R.A that runs in my family. My PCP said that he would not be the doctor to get me hooked on morphine at 27yrs old, so he wants me to go to a pain management doctor to start inj's. I can't afford the inj's. ($800 per inj.) and I'm not wanting morphine. I'm looking for a doctor who can prescribe me Percocet or Loracet 10mg just so I can get thorough the day with mild pain. ## Try Dr. Allen Sloan in North Augusta, SC. He has had back surgeries and relate to one who is in chronic pain. He is a bit of a renegade and has a lovely heart and professional expertise. I have been with him 17 years and he has proscribed up to 200 mcg/hr fenteanyl patch ...
