I was just at my pm appt and my doc informed me that endo pharmaceutical has won the legal case on stopping other pharmaceutical companies on making the generic. Which I find is bs that they get to keep making the brand which doesn't work for the majority of pts including me. I was on opana er 30 just got bumped up to 40mg made by global pharmaceutical company. So as the pts what is there to do when you can't find the generic anywhere in the near future? The brand just dosent work and I won't put anything in my body that dosent give me relief from fibromyalgia and swollen joints. I had one knee replacement and need another one. Soooo pissed off. ## I'm sorry, but I don't have any information about the legal court decision. However, have you considered trying any othe...

R m15 oxycodone green time Release? My prescription had hlc On it? ## Hello, Bonnie! How are you? HCL does not designate it as being time released. HCL stands for Hydrochloride and designates the specific chemical salt that the medication is derived from. This tablet is manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 15mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Why on the photo show a light green a214 oxycodone and a dark a214 green. I get prescribed the light green almost blue. And they're both made by the sa...

I have been on pain meds since 2005 for tendinosis, and more recently for DDD and a herniated L5 to S1. I have been taking six Norco 10's a day since 2008, and usually had no problems getting my scripts filled until recently. It seems pharmacies are getting scared of these new laws. I was using Walmart for several months until today they said they weren't taking any scripts from my doctor because of "lack of communication and because he writes to many scripts for pain meds". Yes, he writes many scripts for narcotics because he's a pain specialist! And I'm sure if he ran a clinic for diabetics he would write lots of scripts for diabetes! I swear, this narcotics scare is driving people nuts! Anyway, I'm so sick of all this craziness. I just want a pharmacy that...

Is the yellow dye in the Qualitest hydrocodone tablets tartrazine, aka FD & C yellow # 5? Many people, myself included, are highly sensitive to this dye. Lots of manufacturers still use it, for unknown reasons. But some have switched to an iron compound for the yellow color (who needs it?!). I have spent much time online trying to get this info, to no avail. If anyone knows, your response would be greatly appreciated! ## Hello, Bluecat! How are you? Actually, it is listed as being FD&C yellow #6. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## My son-in-law takes the yellow Norcos. Then one day, he picked up his meds ...

This pill is oblonged, bright green an makes you see some crazy s*** ## Hello, is there any kind of imprint on the pill? The reason I ask is because U.S. law requires that all prescription drugs have unique letters or numbers (sometimes in addition to a logo of some kind) imprinted on the tablets or capsules so the medication can be identified by manufacturer, substance, and dosage. If you can give me any additional information, it will make it much easier for me to Identify this pill for you. can anyone help me find were i can find my oxycodone 30s i live in hernando county florida and am disabled, and its hard to drive everywhere. ## I've been looking for a month now. Still no luck and that's what it seems to be all about now, you have to find a pharmacy that doesn't discriminate. I may look young and healthy, but they can't see the cyst on my brain or the congestive heart failure going on inside. My doctor no longer prescribes narcotics. I have 4 bulged discs, a degenerative disc and sciatica. I have been on Dilaudid 8 mg 3 times a day for months. I live in the Orlando area but am willing to drive to get the medication I need. I'm desperate! ## Marilyn, I'm sure this has little to do with you but the DEA in conjunction with state regulatory agencies have been notified that further prescribing of this potent narcotic opiate/opioid will result in their displeasure. I got an appointment tomorrow to pick up my oxycodone 10mg and I also got an appointment to start my first dose of suboxone. Can I still pick up my oxycodone being I haven't started the suboxone treatment? ## Hello, Chuckie! How are you? Yes, it isn't advisable that you do both. You can't take the Oxycodone while taking Suboxone, anyway. The active ingredients in Suboxone bind to the opiate receptors in your brain and prevent other opiates from having any effect on you. Additionally, before you start Suboxone, you have to be in full withdrawal from all other opiates, or it could throw you into dangerous precipitated withdrawals. The FDA classifies Suboxone as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cau...

I am on suboxone sublingual film for the moderate-to-severe pain. I need to switch to a pain medicine that will be strong enough to kill rheumatoid arthritis. I need one that does not have aspirin or acetaminophen in it but cannot seem to figure out which one to ask the doctor for. ## Cathy, I'm sorry your experiencing so much discomfort.Actually its recommended the doctor decide what medication is optimal for your condition since only he or she is familiar with your history and condition. There are many effective medications that do not contain acetaminophen or NSAIDs but you must allow your doctor to recommend these for you.Otherwise they may see this as drug seeking behavior by specifically seeking particular medications by name.
