I was prescribed 8 mg of ER Hydromorphone today in place of Percocet 10/325 3x a day. I hope it works without making me sleepy or tired. I'm scared, but need to find one medication instead of so many Percocet. What is your take on how these two medications compare with one another? ## Each 10mgs of Oxycodone is equivalent to 3.75mgs of Hydromorphone, so it is stronger and may work better for you. However, all narcotic opiates could cause drowsiness, and fatigue as side effects, according to FDA reports, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, and constipation. Have you started taking it, yet? If so, how is it working for you? ## Can you take 6 mg of diladad safetly with 20 mg of oxycontin three times a day
i am taking tramadol right now and it is not working enough... can i take oxycodone for the same pain? ## Hi Amber, Based on the personal reviews of others, I'd imagine oxycodone to be considerably stronger than tramadol. There have been a number of patients on here complaining that tramadol doesn't do anything for them and even go so far as wondering why it's even classified as a pain killer. I don't know if that's an overstatement since everyone reacts differently to it, but if you have a prescription for oxycodone, it should be a much more potent alternative. Regarding the differences between the two medications you can learn more about them in the links below: Tramadol Details Oxycodone Details I hope this helps! ## Hello Amber I take tremadal n gabapentin 300mg ...

Hey how's it going to all you guys I have been doing a little bit of reading and I just had some simple questions that I hope you guys can help me with. I currently for my 22nd birthday was diagnosed with stage 4 T-cell lymphoma I have been on a variety of different medications but I for the last six months have been prescribed 10 milligram oxycodone with that being said I just got my refill yesterday and I got it filled at Rite Aid instead of my normal Place Costco. Costco usually delivers me the key kVK Tech, well Rite Aid gave me the zydus brand. I do not notice too much of a difference since it has only been one day but my stomach kind of hurts a little bit I'm not too sure why. If any of you guys could let me know and your opinion what the differences are if any at all that...
I recently had a urine screen through my pain management dr whom I've been seeing for 8 years. I take 2 Norco 7.5 a day as prescribed, but had missed taking them the day before my test because I wasn't feeling well. Anyway, they did a immunoassay test through Millennium Health and it came back negative for the Norco. He said there weren't even any metabolites which makes it look that I haven't had them in a while, but I had taken one less than 48 hours before my test. I asked him to retest me, which he did. But said that even if I pass he has to lower my dose. This test was somewhat different than my first test. When I had the first test done, the technician or whatever had at least 20 urine samples on every surface of his office sitting on top of the paperwork that went...
What is the conversion of opana er to exalgo er? I used to take 20mg opana er 3 times a day and was switched to 16mg exalgo er once a day, but it doesn't seem to treat the pain as well or as steady as the opana. ## According to NIH conversions, it would require 15mgs of Exalgo to be equivalent to each 20mgs of Opana that you were taking, so no your dosage is not high enough to equal your prior medication. Are you on any other medications? Have you informed your medical provider? The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.
My friend took three white round pills imprinted with wpi 839 because he thought they were ibuprofen. Will he overdose or will he be okay? ## How is he doing? Did he experience any adverse effects? The FDA advises that anytime you are worried about the health of someone and their well being, it is always best to consult your nearest emergency services. This medication can cause nervousness, elevated heart rate, and elevated blood pressure, all of which could result in dangerous conditions. Is her on any other medications?
Have a white oblong pill with no imprint and am trying to see if it is Hydrocodone. It looks like it, but no imprint. ## Hello, Sam! How are you? No, all prescription medications in the U.S. are required by law to have unique imprints on them to enable their identification, in case of emergency. For example, if someone would overdose, the paramedics may come in and find them unconscious surrounded by pills and they need to be able to discover what they took, in order to provide the best treatment. Thus, if it has no markings, it is most likely just an over the counter product, of some type, though there is a small chance that it could be a foreign pill. The FDA classifies Hydrocodone as a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such ...

My mom has chronic pain due to her low back. Has been on Morphine 15 mg SR for at least 15 years also Percocet 5mg for break thru pain. Last appt. with MD we explained that 15 mg was not covering her pain. I asked to bump her up to 20 mg (I am an RN) but was told that is not how it goes and was given a RX for Morphine 30 mg q 12 hours. She was on q 12 hours prior. Hello, Just curious about a certain topic that just came up and I had never experienced it before. However, it's important to note that I'm more curious about the legality of this situation and not looking for any feedback on any potential actions worth taking. Situation: The other day I went in to see my doctor at a Pain Management clinic, who I've been with for years and have a great relationship with, and something very different was brought up that kind of had us both curious as to the reason behind this. I want to point out I'm not publicly stating the pharmacy name since that's not the focus of my question, but I will state that it is one of the largest chains in the US. The Event: When I was sitting with him he said, "I got a very odd and explicit call fro...
I need help on finding out the price for oxymorphone 10 mg tablets. I need 180 per month from the pharmacy. I also need help with Quinaprill (generic). ## I'm sorry, but I'm not sure exactly what you're asking. this site does not manufacture, nor sell any medications, this is an information only website. The price for any medication is going to vary from pharmacy to pharmacy and location to location. Have you tried checking with different drug stores in your area to find the cheapest price possible? ## Where can I fill my script of opana 7.5 in or around nashville ## Just got oxymorphone IR 10mg tablets manufactured by Roxane. But I've done some research on this manufacturer and there appears to be no IR made by them? I always had the KVK TECH manufacturer in the past.
i took one 15 mg. morphine sulfate IR pill, and wonder how long it would show up in a urine test. thank you. ## Hi featherjack, Morphine can be detected in your urine for up to 3-4 days after your last dose. However if you have a prescription for this drug, then you don't have to worry about it showing up. Just present the lab or whomever it concerns with a copy of the prescription for verification. I hope this helps! ## Morphine is a narcotic opiate and most medications in this class are detectable for approximately 4 to 5 days, after last dosing. Learn more Morphine details here. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I am prescribed percocet anyways, so is the ms contin going to make any difference just taking a half of a 30 mg pill if I were to be urine tested? ## yes its no...

I went to the dentist, had a quad and lots of fillings. Today she perscribed me hydrocodone/apap 7.5-650 and pencillin vk 500 mg. Can i take them together? I am in alot of pain right now. ## Yes, there are no interactions listed between these medications, though you should always double check such information to be sure. Learn more Penicillin details here and you can learn more Vicodin details here. However, they are often prescribed together to handle pain and infections, I've taken them together myself for dental issues in the past, though I am glad that part of my life is over now, because I don't miss it. :-) The Hydrocodone in the Vicodin is a narcotic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause nausea, dizziness and drowsiness as side effects. I certainly ho...
Found some of these in my cabinet from 2015. I am in severe pain & took one, but don't feel much. Could they be expired? I don't want to take another & have too much in my system. ## Yes, most tablets and capsules are considered to be expired one year from the date you received them from your pharmacy, after that they start to lose efficacy, according to FDA directives. This, it would be best to dispose of them and see your doctor for a new prescription, if you require a pain medication. The FDA also warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?
I had surgery yesterday. I was given Tramadol and it is not alleviating the pain. The FDA does warn that Oxycodone carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Are you on any other medications?
