Found some of these in my cabinet from 2015. I am in severe pain & took one, but don't feel much. Could they be expired? I don't want to take another & have too much in my system.

Yes, most tablets and capsules are considered to be expired one year from the date you received them from your pharmacy, after that they start to lose efficacy, according to FDA directives.
This, it would be best to dispose of them and see your doctor for a new prescription, if you require a pain medication.
The FDA also warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.
