I have been on 20mg opana er for quite some time and on 30 oxycodone for even longer than the opana. I had a drug screen last week at my Dr's office and was told my oxycodone didn't show up in my system but oxymorphone did show up. So the dr told me I violated my pain contract by not taking my pain medication. I have taken both my pain meds everyday. I told them I wanted another drug test done right then. I haven't got the results of this one yet. My question is why would oxymorphone show up and not oxycodone? Can oxycodone show up as oxymorphone? ## I am prescribed Opana ER 30 mg 2x's daily & Oxycodone 20 mg 2x's daily. I ran out of Oxycodone early and have been doubling up on Opana. I have been on percocet 10/325 and adderall 20mg for years because of medical reasons. I have multiple sclerosis. I recently took a hair follicle 5 panel and a 10 panel urine drug screen test to prove that I was taking these drugs. My urine test came back negative saying that I was taking these drugs but the hair test came back saying that I did not have either one of these in my system. What is going on with this? Will i pass a pain doc drug test on monday at 2:30pm? I took several percs on tues-thurs, hydro on friday, and lasix 40mg on sat n sunday. ## There is no way to say for sure, it really depends on the type of test they use, and whether it is urine, hair, or blood, according to NIH details. I have drug testing for probation for court. Have a prescription for perks. That's ok, but I also failed for morphine. And I don't know why? My perspective is that as Pharma companies buy up quality companies like Watson, who put the required amount of the main pain-killing ingredient in each tablet, they then put in MORE fillers and less narcotic ingredient. Patently, this is why people are having to take more of these generics and often, due to them receiving less narcotic, end up lapsing into withdrawal. ## Generics do have to meet certain quality and efficacy standards, under U.S. FDA law, just like the name brands do. I am 60 years old and manage my diabetes with insulin. For the past two years, I've been taking "Aspirin Protect" 100, a product made by Bayer in Germany. Currently, I am in India and am contemplating whether or not I can switch to Ecosprin AV 75 or any other version of Ecosprin.
