I had a total knee replacement done last Monday. When released on Thursday, I was prescribed with Oxycodone Acetaminophen 5 325 as a pain killer in time of need. I needed a little yesterday--I really haven't had that much pain before, even in the hospital, but I guess I pushed myself a little too much, so I took one of my capsules. I awoke in the night because the pain I was feeling was 10 times worse than anything I'd been through since surgery. I took another and the pain increased. What would cause this? I have used only three of the fifty prescribed, so I don't think I could be already addicted. I'm a 59 yar old female, with a moderate HBP and diabetes, both more or less controlled. does hydrocodone apap come in 12.5/500 mg ## No, before the DEA made changes the maximum dosage available only contained 10mgs of the Hydrocodone, since the changes, the maximum available contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. This FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Are there any markings on the tablet in questions? Can you please post back and clarify? I will gladly research more information for you.

pain relief ## I'm sorry, did you mean Ativan? If so, it contains the active ingredient Lorazepam, which is a benzodiazepine that is most commonly used to treat anxiety, and nervous disorders. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and irritability. But it does not treat pain.

Percocet contains the active ingredients Oxycodone, and Acetaminophen, and the maximum dosage of it available contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. I did check the databases and there is nothing listed with this marking, among any medications. Can you please double check the imprint and post back? Is anyone else familiar with this tablet?

I have been taking Hydrocodon-APAP 10-325 2 PILLS EVERY 4 HOURS 3 to 4 times a day for 15 years. My problem is the last few prescriptions I've received have not done much to help with the pain. The last few prescriptions are Watson 853 tablets. I have taken as many as 4 to 4 & 1/2 pills within an hour & a half & it was like I was taking nothing!! I have heard that sometimes the medicine is replaced with a placebo or that the Government is cutting down the ingredient that actually give fast pain relief. My prescription called for 10/325 and I have for the pass 15 years been taking Watson 932. Now I have a yellow tablet by Alvogen, Inc. with a strength 325/10. Is there a difference? I just renewed my prescription for 15mg oxycodone and noticed they are a different colored green (darker green) than the last ones. I'm also noticing that this new script is not working for my pain and wonder if anybody else has had these kind of issues? Is it better to just get the actual roxicodone and not the generic? I'm on probation with my pain management for them finding hydrocodone that I took from a previous dentist appt. I am prescribed 10mg Oxycodone hcl, if I take 10mg Oxycodone with acetaminophen, will it show a difference? They're now giving me very strict, down to the level testing now, after this one incident. I'm asking this, for an answer....not for someone to TRY and tell me the difference between right and wrong. I'm already aware of it ## Ever find an answer for this?? Please help me, i do not want to hurt my unborn child and have no clue on what to do to stop taking these pills without getting horribly sick like i do. the withdrawl is soo bad, i get every single effect, its so horrible. I have been under a doctor’s care for the past five years. I’ve had ankle surgery, as well lower back surgery. Started off with Hydrocodone 10mg. Then another doctor, which I have to date, switch me to Oxycodone 90 count, 10mg three times a day. Then to Oxycodone 120 count, 15mg, four times a day. The others would be the M box. This is a light blue with a cut that says 30 on the top with a M in a square on the back. I believe it is by Malinckrodt pharmaceutical.
