The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I am sick of never seeing good information online and at how inaccurate most of the stuff was that I came across when desperately searching for answers myself. So, what follows is what I know about Opana drug testing. Everything here is accurate, and learned first hand. It's not vague, and there are no guesses, no assumptions, no generalizations. I know from experience, dude, if ya know what I mean.... Opana (oxymorphone) is detectable in urine anywhere from 48 to 96 hours (2 to 4 days), depending on dosage, length of use, and the person's size and metabolism. The quickest I have personally gotten it below detectability without diluting it is 60 hours. I have tested positive before after 55 hours clean, also. I know a little bit about opana drug testing because I have been on a ...
patch narcotic ## Hello, According to the DEA Fetanly is a synthetic opioid. These drugs are used as a pain reliever. This drug is a schedule II narcotic. They report that these drugs are extremely potent and often only require a small amount to result in severe adverse reactions. In addition these drugs can be inhaled or absorbed through the skin which makes them a danger to not only to the user but also those in the general area who come in contact with the drug. Here is some additional info from the DEA on this drug. [1]DEA Fentanyl I hope this information helps. Let me know if there is anything else I can do.
Need to identify an oval pill with 4 raised line on top. It has a minty smell. The color is off-white or very light gray. ## Hello Marie, Since what you have does not have an imprint it definitely isn't a FDA regulated medication. Since you said it smells like minty I started looking up brand named breath mints. I found one that matches your description and I was wondering if you would mind doing a google image search of Altoids arctic mints? They are breathmints that are white and have 4 raised lines on them. Let me know if this solves your question. If not let me know and I'll try searching again.
my boyfriend takes this thick white oval pill with 123 on both sides every evening before bed im curios what the pill is for. When i asked he didnt give me a straight answer worried he might have some sort of addiction or chronic condition ## Hello Anny, The pill your boyfriend is taking is simply an Ibuprofen 800mg, used for treating pain relief, fever reduction and anti-inflammation. bought over the counter and if you can give me the information on the brand that he is taking I can provide you with some additional details. Ibuprofen is non addictive but does increase the risk of heart attacks and strokes when used for prolonged periods. Hope this helps.
Is there any way to find out which manufacturer a pharmacy uses? I have been on Camber 7.5mg Oxycontin and they are awful. Pharmacies I've called (Wal-Mart and Rite Aid) said they do not discuss the narcotics they carry over the phone. ## Hello Scrappy, I understand your frustrations with the situation and I empathize. Unfortunately there is no way that I know of to force a pharmacy to disclose information about any drug that isn't prescribed to you currently. The reasoning behind them not disclosing what kinds of drugs, primarily narcotics, is because they are high theft items. From what I have experienced, pharmacies are much more likely to answer your questions in person while you are on camera than over the phone. You may find better luck by physically going into the locatio...
Pills found in a blank bottle in a repair mans bag that is working in my kitchen, please send me an answer. What is this bottle of white oval pills with the #122 on the front? ## I've been searching for this off an on, since I first saw your post the other day, but I haven't had any luck finding a match for this tablet. Based on that, it leads me to suspect that it's something that available over the counter. Learn more OTC drug details here. Can you give me an idea of the approximate size? Would you say it's comparable to a Tylenol, or something else? ## I was given a pill the same just has 122 on it and nothing else. NO IP or any other numbers. I was told it is IBUPROFEN. I really need it if it is, so I would like some help on this also. Its the size of a horse pill, a...
My husband suffers from 2 types of cancer - Non-Hodgkins lymphoma and prostate. He uses Mallinckrodt oxycodone 10 mg tabs for pain control (especially back pain caused from tumors). Through trial and error, he found that the Mallinckrodt product works best for him and produces minimum side effects. He regularly fills his Rx at a hospital associated pharmacy where he sees his oncologist and has testing done. When he went to get his Rx this week, the pharmacist told him they were not going to carry Mallinckrodt any longer due to an enormous price jump. Right now, his co-pay is around $38.00. With the price jump, he would have to special order the Mallinckrodt and pay around $ 370.00. We don't know what to do. Why is there no control over how much the big pharmas can increase their pri...
I take oramorph daily, I have a half used bottle of oramorph that has been open for over a year. It's still well within the use by date but the bottle says discard 3 months after opening. It seems a waste to throw it away, will this be OK to use? It's not dangerous is it? ## I'd like to know the same as you about the date. Ours is a year or more old and opened. I'd like to know if there would be problems taking it. Does the efficiently degrade or even make the mixture stronger. Thanks. ## If the meds were kept in the bottle, in a climate controlled house, then you're good to go. I have left pills in my glove box in the summertime and they got weaker and weaker because of the heat. As hard as it is the get pain meds these days, I would hang on to those, they will work...

So my little brother just got off drugs and we're sharing a room and I found this little weird pill, it's like a yellowish orange circular pill and on one side it says "OX" & the other side says nothing... if anyone happens to know what it is I'd like to be enlightened. My family and I just spent 6000 for his stupid rehab, and I'd hate to think he's going back into the same bulls***. So if anybody has any input, on what it is. It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. not trying to rush anyone but I would really like to know what's going on before he f***s himself up. Thanks again for your time. {edited for privacy}. ## Does it not say OX 40, I have 2 of them here. OX 40 oxycodone or codene yellow, yeasy to remove the yellow skin. This is ...
Please please please someone direct me to a doctor who will listen and prescribe the amount of oxycodone my son needs. Pain management clinics are a joke and fall short of what we know will keep him comfortable until they can do the therapy or procedures that may be able to get him out of pain so he doesn't have to take it. He only needs 60 mg a day in 4 15 mg doses. That is what we've found works and makes it so he doesn't get sick from the meds and is out of the considerable pain he is in. He can't work because they won't give him enough to function. I have spent so much money I dont have to take care of him! He has Ahccs healthcare coverage! They only give him 3 10mg pills a day which falls short of the care he needs and is in so much pain. I am at my wits end! We...
I have been prescribed 10mg oxycodone for the passed 2 years, 4x daily and have never had any problem with the ones I usually get (pink). This last rx the pharmacy gave me the RP 10s made by Rhodes Pharm. And I have never had a oxycodone make me so sick, sweating nausea, headache, chills. And to top it off no pain relief what so ever. Is it me or has anybody else had the same experience? I was wondering if the pharmacy could replace them. Any suggestions? ## Hi Carolyn, Sorry to hear about your situation and being stuck with inferior pain medication. From what I've seen in related threads here on MedsChat, many other patients expressed similar feelings surrounding the efficacy and side effects of this Rhode's product. Unfortunately, pharmacies don't typically allow patients ...
I found a pill with V on one side and 22/66 on the other side. It's white and oval shaped, but i can see how similar it looks to the 500mg acetaminophen/hydrocodone tablet, BUT it is NOT vicodin! It is in fact baclofen 20mg. It is not a narcotic. It does however have the active ingredient lioresal, a muscle relaxant. ## Hello Sammyboo, I found a match for the pill you described. What I found is a Baclofen 20 MG Oral tablet (pictured below). The NIH reports that Baclofen is used for alleviating symptoms of multiple sclerosis. (NDC 0603-2407) Ingredients: Baclofen 20mg Inactive Ingredients: - silicon dioxide - crospovidone - magnesium stearate - cellulose, microcrystalline - starch, corn Imprint: 22;66;V Manufacturer: Par Pharmaceutical Colors: White Shape: Oval Size (mm): 16.00 Scor...

Can anyone please help. I am going through transitioning doctors and Insurances. Currently no Insurance. long story short I am having to pay for my prescription of 120 Oxymorphone er 40mg. Yet the lowest I can find is still around $600 !!! With discount card. Yikes!! My research has found there are NO programs available. I have found Discount cards, but nothing substantial. Does anyone have a good lead? I'm grateful I am down to a single pain med. But financially its straining. ## I know exactly how you feel because I've been in the very same situation. That certainly is a ridiculous price. Honestly, the best option is to consider discussing with your pain doctor the possibility of switching to a different pain medication once you get settled with a new doctor because there are ...
I take Oxymorphone and it helps. I just wanted to check to see which one is better, Oxymorphone 10mg er or Dilaudid 8mg? Thanks a lot! :-) ## There is no definitive way to say, it depends on you and which one works best to relieve your pain. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. If the Oxymorphone works well for you, then it might be best to stick with it. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Timilan, Dilaudid in most clinicians estimation provides a greater degree of analgesia. For purposes of diversion control most opt. to rx oxymorphone which is also an excellent pain reliever. It's sad when considerations for prescribing are based on anything b...
