I just picked up a RX for Movantik and am so ready to start it! I have been so constipated for months and bloated too. Is there a better time of day to take it? Morning or night? I read the post about how well it can work the first day or two but does this mean I should take before bed or in the morning? Thank you in advance for any advice! ## The FDA generally suggests it be taken in the morning. Its typical side effects are listed as possibly including stomach pain, diarrhea, increased sweating, yawning, and irritability. Are you on any other medications? Have you started taking this one, yet?

Does Suboxone or Naproxen (Aleve) contain Aspirin or any other related chemicals that would cause an allergic reaction? I need to know asap. Thank you. ## Suboxone contains Naloxone and Buprenorphine and regarding Naproxen, that is the active ingredient, so no. Though it should be noted that Naproxen is also a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, so it is a related drug. However, the NIH does warn that if you are allergic to any given medication, there is a risk of finding more you are also allergic to, it's just the nature of human biology, so it is always best to be cautious, when taking something new. Has someone had a reaction to one of these medications?

I took 20 mg of methadone yesterday afternoon. Can I take a suboxone strip or half a strip and be ok and feel the relief of the sub? Hi!! I need a doctor that will prescribe me subutex in Tucson, Az. I recently found out I'm 10 weeks pregnant and have an existing opioid addiction. I've never seen these before and want to make sure it's the right thing. They are orange surf board shaped pills and have the number 14 on one side. Is there a subutex pill that looks like this? ## There are orange surf board but they don't have a 14 on them. Just google them.

I've been on Suboxone for 2 years and felt fine. Then the other day I broke out with hives and also my blood pressure was very high, and I couldn't breath good. Can I develop an allergic reaction after taking this drug for 2 years? ## Hello, Keith! How are you? I was on maintenance before. Haven't been for years. Can a methadone clinic choose to honor blood work instead of supervised urine's if you cant pee in front of ppl for certain reasons? I'm afraid that methadone is all that's ever worked and my life's on the line because of this... Are their any petitions out there for abuse victims (?) cause i felt like I was getting assaulted every time I used to go. I was on methadone for over 6 years and never relapsed once; but now after weeks and months of withdrawal I relapsed. Please speak up.

I take the white subutex, most doctors do not prescribe for long term due to potential abuse. I like them better due to no side effects and taste. I also weaned off more then a couple times due to surgeries. Each time takes about 3 months and pretty much no pain, only for maybe a couple days of no sleep, but that is okay compared to the others. Plus I have a great doctor (not the sub doc) but my Internal Med doc. It always helps when your doctor is cool as mine! He is not judgmental at all.

I'm on pre gablin 200mg twice a day how long do I leave it before starting subutex ive been on pre gablin for 6 weeks ## Hello, Gav! How are you? There is no need to worry about taking Pregabalin and switching to Subutex, since Pregabalin is not an opiate. Some people even take it with Suboxone, or Subutex. I was on methadone for 2 years at 60 mg. Stopped cold turkey, was in hell for 5 weeks. Please stay away from this devil. My opinion is it's the worst drug on the planet. Also my dad was slowly dying from cancer during my wd. I hate that drug! ## Lbreezy, You actually went cold turkey from 60 mg everyday to zero with nothing to assist in your Withdrawl process?? Let me start by saying, I had taken pills among other things recreationally as a teenager.. never developed an addiction but taking pills was nothing new or unknown to me but I had stopped from the age of about 16-22 because I watched it destroy those around me... Okay, so in 2012 (22 years old) I began taking small doses of oxycodone (unprescribed) to self medicate severe chronic pain. I have suffered from opiate addiction for about 15 years. After about 4 years of different narcotic & benzos pills, my family finally intervened & a long-term rehab (about 1 year) helped me. I stayed sober almost 6 years. But since I relapsed 7 years ago (long story), I have had a lot of trouble & been on (& for brief times off) a downward spiral.
