Hi!! I need a doctor that will prescribe me subutex in Tucson, Az. I recently found out I'm 10 weeks pregnant and have an existing opioid addiction. My only concern is the well being of my unborn baby. I'm having a very hard time finding a doctor that will help with subutex and not suboxen, subutex is safer for the baby. I have Care 1st insurance can anyone please help me!!!!

Once they receive information that you are confirmed as being pregnant from your OBGyn, there should not be any problem with them prescribing Subutex, it may just take a brief period for any given doctor to receive your medical records.

The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, constipation, headache, and dry mouth.

Any doctor that treats with Suboxone can also prescribe Subutex, if necessary. However, you will need to go to an appointment and provide those medical records.

Are you on any other medications? Have you contacted any doctors to ask?
