Does the pill suboxone block heroin from showing up in a urine test? ## No it will not block the heroin. But I am wondering if taking suboxone will kick the heroin out of my system faster so I will be able to pass a drug test. From what I understand, probation does not drug test for sub ## I have been on suboxone for about 3 months this last weekend I slipped and shot h for 2 days the 25th in early morning last use. I started my suboxone again on the 26th but have my refill tomorrow the 30th. It's a urine test extensive one goes to the lab and everything. the pill is orange and is oblong or foot ball shaped. it has 152 on one side and a little symbol on the other. Is this a real subutex? ## Hello, Pat! How are you? Are you sure that it's 152? There are two Subutex that match this description, which are manufactured by Actavis, the 2mg has their logo and 156, the 8mg has their logo and 153. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## Yes. Serious question as most of yours are. I've been clean for 3 months and decided to use again on Friday around 8 am. I had a urine test done on Tuesday night around 7 pm. I'm 39 yrs old, 5.5 and 135 lbs. I totally wasn't expecting one being done so therefore wasn't prepared at all. No drinking large amounts of water but yes I do work out. Honestly what do you think my chances are of passing? I'll know for sure next Tuesday but my nerves are really starting to get to me. I have been taking 8mg subutex for at least 3yrs now due to an allergic reaction to suboxone films and when I went to the doctor yesterday he said he could only prescribe subutex to pregnant women only. I've passed drug panels for over 3yrs & am not understanding why he took me off of subutex? ## It is a preferred directive from the DEA. They have instructed that it only be prescribed for women that are pregnant, unless they have a validly diagnosed allergy to the Naloxone in Suboxone. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. I have been on methadone for 30 years and i have seen all kinds of abuse, either from staff or medicating nurses. They would tell me i had to have a TB test ever year. Since I'm on monthlies, I have random call backs four times a year. The bad thing about it is they are only open from 5:30 am till 10:00 am, and I have to be at work at 6:30 am. And i live 30 miles from the Methadone center. Every month i have to turnover 600 dollars since my wife is on it too. I am just a blue collar worker and the cost leaves me broke every month. Then there are yearly physicals which cost 60 dollar a per couple. Then there is blood work which cost 30 dollars per couple. I thought methadone centers where there to help u. I get suboxone daily 2 x 8mg but am also using MST's 4 back pain & I feel fine, why am I not going into withdrawal ? ## What are MST's? I've had my experience with everything and also on subs and have never heard that term. ## MST CONTINUS is a brand of Morphine Sulfate in the UK from Napp Pharmaceuticals Limited. ## Subs have Narcan in them. Hi all, I am on the subutex programme for a tram and codeine addiction that got way outta control. This is day 3 of the programme and things aint goin too well on the side effects front. I am itching like a flea ridden cat when trying to sleep, pharmacist says it will calm down in a few days, I wanted to hear from experienced patients only on this as to whether its true? My mother was prescribed to take zubsolv 1.4/.36 in halves. The doctor said it was for pain management but I've been looking around and it is only approved for addiction therapy. My mother had been completely off of opiates for a couple of months before being prescribed this medication. Oddly enough, he prescribed it in combination with cymbalta and I read that there is a risk of interaction with seratonergic drugs. All it does is make her sick and does nothing for her pain. She stopped taking it after 2 doses. She does suffer from chronic neuropathy in her leg from a blood clot surgery and has spinal degeneration as well. My partner is on a buprenorphine detox. He gets regular drug tests and passes. Yet i swear he's taking something. His eyes r pinned his breathing is slow and heavy. Can someone please tell me if I can take sublingual subutex while wearing a butrans 20 patch? Subutex doesnt contain naloxone so before I get any of the "Oh my god no you will have precipitated withdrawals" responses. So, if I took a subutex or even half of one will I be ok? I am on Methadone and they gave me Invokana for my diabetes. Ever since I took it my head burns, my hands and feet are tingling, burn & hurt so bad that my hand is red. I feel like I'm dying slowly. Could it be not working together? They think I got MS, but I said I wasn't like this until the Invokana was introduced. ## Invokana is known to have an increased risk causing amputations, the FDA has listed a prominent warning about it, is is also stated on the commercials, and drug information sheets. I need help from the ER with maybe some lortab cough syrup due to being extremely sick with bronchitis but I'm afraid they'll drug test me and see I'm on methadone. I know honesty is the best policy, but I'm in agony and really need something more from ER so can u tell me if the methadone will show up? And if so will it show up as morphine? I've been on butrans patch 20 mcg. For over a year. Suddenly I've been switched to the generic form of butrans. The brand Butrans is best for me because the generic is giving me an upset stomach with headaches and nausea. I feel sick on the generic butrans. I'm sure it's not a good substitute for the brand. I am praying someone can give me a little bit of advice on sebutex. I was on day 4-5 withdrawing from lortab, perc off and on for 2 years. Really want to stop so I got a 8mg sebutex from a friend and took 1/4 of it yesterday at 11 am and started projectile vomiting 2 hours later and it lasted all day. I'm wondering how much I should try this morning without it making me vomit again. I was on it 2years ago-3,4 a day and had to quit cold turkey with no taper bc my Dr hauled butt and I was in the hospital for a month.
