Every time I cut back I felt better. After 11 days on 1/8th of a 2mg strip, I stopped the Suboxone. I haven't been able to sleep since. I spin like a top all night. My back was injured Sat. a week ago. Would this be a withdrawal symptom or back issue or both? How long will the withdrawal symptoms last. I'm feeling like a zombie from NO SLEEP. Going to chiropractor, who says I injured S1 disc. So confused and don't want to go back on that awful drug!! ## Hello, Sula! How are you feeling? I'm sorry that you're miserable. It is most likely a withdrawal symptom, it can take several weeks for them to completely wear off. Suboxone does contain a potent narcotic, so s...
Hey guys I’ve been on methadone for 8 years taking 127mg I’m so tired of not being able to go out of town or do anything without showing why we’re and whatever else they ask for to show proof of why I couldn’t make it if my number is called while I’m away from the clinic it’s like I’m on Color code or something I am trying to figure out what I should do to switch to subutex with less withdrawals as possible because I work 6 days a week 10 hours a day and I’m VERY NERVOUS about doing this but think it’s time ## Hello, Beth! How are you? Many people have successfully switched, but you do have to be in full withdrawal from the Methadone, before you do so. A doctor licensed to prescribe Suboxone for addiction treatment should be able to ...
i have been taking sub and am going to have to take a drug test, and if it shows up what will it show up as? ## Does suboxone show up in a five panel extended hair follicle test, with masking? ## Did you ever find the answer to this question? I'm also wondering if subs show in a hair follicle test with extended opiates. Please help! ## I was in the hospital in January and when I came out I was still in pain so I took a suboxone I had leftover from my old prescription. But now I have to take a hair follicle test. How long would that one dose stay in my hair?
I took half of a suboxone pill today, Friday, and have a drug test for my probation on Thursday, will it be out of my system by then? And if not is there anything I can do to get it out by then? ## It takes 9-11 days for Suboxone to come out of your system it does not matter how much you have used. Longer for those in which use it daily. Beings that it does stick to the receptors of the brain. I recommend for anyone in which that it IT is NOT being dispensed this medication not to take it. So for those in which state that it will not show up in 3- 5 days like a typical narcotic is so NOT true. Also suboxone in most states is not on a standard drug test. BUT know your states drug screens, being that suboxone has in its self an abused medication Some states have made it a panel on there d...
white round 54 on top 142 on bottom line on the other side ## what type of pill is this it says on the same side of the pill 142 54 and on the back its a line ## This is definitely methadone. ## Late tonight I found a white round pill in my truck some one drop and left its got 54 over 142 on one side the other a straight line on the other any info would be helpful thanks. ## Roxane Laboratories lists this tablet as containing 10mgs of Methadone, which is used to treat drug addiction, and severe chronic pain. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?
I am on 6 mg of suboxone and have been dosing for five years.. I have come across some 10 mg methadone tablets and am wondering if I could take some of the done tabs to get a high? But am concerned about any problem. That may occur even if I was only to take the tabs as a one off, also if I was to take them How long would I have to wait to take my suboxone dose as i Am aware of instant withdrawals.. Just not sure if it applies after taking the one dose of done tabs?? And how many tabs would I need to get a high after not taking sub dose for 24 hrs? ## Dear George, I would not mix the 2. If u want 2 take the methadone , stop the subs and wait until u r withdrawing, then take the methadone. That will work. ## NO It will send you into withdrawals. ## My fiancé is quitting percocets an...
I was tested a couple weeks ago by swab and it came back as having methadone in my system. I had been taking nightquil for a cold I was starting to get. Could it have come back false positive? ## I just liked it up and yes, it seems that some of the ingredients in Nyquil can cause a false positive on some tests for Amphetamines, Heroine, Methamphetamines, Morphine, Methadone and other opiates. They don't specifically state which ingredient it is, but the resource I use lists only the medications that have been scientifically/medically proven to register false positives for other substances. So, if you weren't taking Methadone, the Nyquil is probably your answer. Are there any questions or comments? ## I am on several Rx drugs plus I take weekly injections of B-12, folic acid I a...
I seen the info above about any Methadone Doctors that will prescribe it in pill form in the Greenville NC area. I am currently paying 300 a month at the clinic and I am trying to start detoxing off as well. I am on 70mg. I been on it going on 3 yrs in December and I just would really like to have the pills and pay less money, not have to go to the clinic each day, and detox slowly with a private Dr help. If anyone knows if there are any Dr in this area let me know please Thanks ## Under current U.S. law, it is illegal for a private practice doctor to prescribe it for addiction treatment, maintenance, or detox. That is only legally permitted to be done, by those specially trained in its use, in a clinical setting. Private practice doctors are only allowed to prescribe it for pain, and r...
How do i flush Suboxone out of my system? ## In my opinion, the best way to detox your body of any medication is to eat natural, exercise regularly, stay hydrated, and get plenty of rest each night. Although, if that's not enough, you can always try supplementing with activated charcoal. This substance has the ability to absorb any excess medication (toxins) from your body and help filter it out of your system safely. Activated charcoal may be something you want to do additional research on to familiarize yourself with it's capabilities. But I consider it a staple for any medicine cabinet in case of emergency. I hope this helps! ## Is there anyway to get suboxone out of your system in 2 days? And please don't respond with don't take it in the first place. I took barley a...
Is it possible to get a 10 mg methadone pill with no markings on either side? They are large white and blank pills. ## Hi Atiyeh, In the US, the FDA requires pharmaceutical drugs to have a marking of some sort for proper identification. However, in other countries such as Mexico, the regulatory oversight seems to be more lax, whereas many prescription drugs are dispensed with no imprint. So I'd say the answer to your question (when it comes to legitimately prescribed methadone from a licensed pharmacy) largely depends upon your location. Hope this helps!
Imprint is so&f. Or sq&f. The second letter faded so hard to tell. Can't figure out what this is. Anybody know? ## Hello, Purplessance! How are you? I've done some searching, but I'm not finding anything that matches this description, the tablets I've found with speckles in the prescription drug databases are all oblong, not round. Where did you find it? It may be an over the counter product and some of those are regional, so knowing the general location may help to narrow it down. I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone else know what this is? ## I found the same pill in my sons drawer. The imprint is Sc & f and I can't find it on any pill ID page. I'm going to look up companies with those initials next. Did ...
Just wanted to know what these are? I got them in Australia. They are a very bright orange color with score marks on one side and nothing on the other. ## Are they orange flavoured as well? Perhaps if so, bupenorphine w/naloxone also generic for suboxone.
Which one should I try to kick first? Also, how do I taper off 125 mg daily of methadone? Right now, I'm down to five 1mg xanax. ## It can really vary from person to person. The modern method to taper off of any medication is usually to have the person gradually lower their dose while skipping days, at the same time, so you lower it, while spacing your doses further and further apart. The FDA does warn that both of these medications carry the risk of being habit forming, and may cause withdrawal effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, fever, chills, vomiting, and tremors. Have you consulted a medical professional? That would be the best way to find the tapering method safest for you.
After 3 years on Suboxone my insurance company turned down a Prior Appeal and forced me to take Zubsolv. I got sick immediately, had headaches and vomiting occurred. What can I do? ## The FDA does warn those as being possible side effects of this medication, along with dry mouth, and constipation. And yes, most insurance companies do have an appeal process, it can vary from company to company, so I cannot tell you what the process is with Humana, but you should be able to find the details in your paperwork from them, or via their patient website. I am sure they also have a number you can call to ask them how to do so. What did the prior appeal involve? Are you on any other medications?
I am taking suboxone 8 mg as I have since getting of street drugs 3 years ago. I have a bad bronchial virus. I can't take opiates so I am taking Benzonate 200 and Mucinex (Guaifenesin 600). I just want to make sure the Suboxone and Benzonate don't interact. I read Benzonate can interact with pain relievers. ## I didn't find any problems, or interactions listed, but it is always best to double check to be sure. The FDA does warn that Suboxone carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, constipation, dry mouth, and headache. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thank you, Suboxone does have its risks, but having lifted the bonds of homelessness, and IV addiction, the benefits outweigh the consequences. I had no interact...
I need to know where the cheapest place to get my pills. I only take the 54 411s. They really do the trick for me but I'm having trouble finding the cheapest place to fill at. If anyone know a place let me know, you would be of some great help. Thank you very much! ## Try your local mom and pops pharmacy that's a lot cheaper than the big pharms. ## Have you found where these are located i am also looking for a pharmacy with these exact same subutex please let me know if you found these
Hi. I just got out of detox and already knew I could not take the suboxone film because I immediately puke once I put it under my tongue. I thought it was the consistency of the film that made that happen. In detox they used subutex which still hated the taste but I was able to tolerate it and able to get it into my system. They sent me home with the suboxone tabs and I am having the same issue. I didn’t throw it up but immediately started to gage and wanted to puke. Is this normal? ## Yes, that can be a normal side effect of this medication, especially if you are sensitive to the Naloxone that Suboxone contains in addition to the Buprenorphine. The FDA lists its other side effects as possibly including dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. How are you doing, now? Has ...
Hi my name is Carrie and I'm from Hermosa Beach, CA.. I have been taking oral 8mg suboxone for months, as it really helps me and keeps me from popping 40 vicodin or norco's a day. I was on cobra with Blue cross when I began taking it, but it was too expensive. The cobra was 600 a month. Do you know of any independent rx coverage for suboxone? Right now i just paid 400 for 90 of them, and that's a one month supply. I'm better off taking the vicodins. I am disabled, but haven't gotten approved for medical yet. I have no insurance. If you have any suggestions, please help me, best regards. ## I am not sure if there are any assistance plans that cover it, or not. You can try the manufacturers website or contact number, some other programs are pparx.org needymeds.org and ...
I have found a bottle with no markings on the bottle but the pill is a small white pill with a scored X completely across on side and smooth on the other side any ideas? ## Maybe an illicit drug such as ex? But I know suboxone has a picture of a sword. Did you ever find out? ## Hmmm - may also be white cross energy pills based on your description. Definitely something over the counter or from outside the country if they came in a bottle but with no specific markings. Any other details such as packaging or a manufacturer name? ## Not all of them.Temgesic does not have it its made by Jaansen.Dont make assumptions as not all are made by same farma corp.
Hi I have a question, I take Suboxone for opias withdrawal and I have been on them for almost 3 years in June! I have not had this sensation the whole time I been on it but I have noticed it in the last year or so! I have burning tongue sensation I think, I have googled it and I have all of the symptoms that were listed and I also have diabetes too so they said it can come from that too but I think it might be something in my Suboxone's either an active ingredient or a non-active ingredient, I'm not sure but I do know it is very painful, and very frustrating too so I'm looking for any type of suggestions to help me out, I feel like I'm losing my mind!! ## I know this post is old. But there is always new people coming along. Soooo...... here is another thing to concider. ...
