My girlfriend takes Suboxone and recently the pharmacy has switched brands. They are orange, slightly smaller and have 970 on one side. I think she is having terrible SE from them. Under her tongue is raw so bad. Also hot flashes. Severe. Head to toe she gets soaked! This seems since the pharmacy changed pills. Has anyone had these symptoms? ## Yes!! These new orange Sun Pharma 970 are awful! I was unfortunate to get some of those with my last script. I hated them so bad I searched over 7 pharmacies in towns an hour away just to find the Amneal AN 415 orange ones again this past Saturday for my months script. Thank goodness i found a pharmacy with just enough to fill my whole script so I wouldn't have to take any of those other kind. I am a self pay patient so I can usually switch w...

I have been taking Methadone for over a year at a clinic to get off of some of the pain medications prescribed to me, one of them Xanax (been taking seven years or more) for severe anxiety and PTSD. My doctor that was prescribing my Xanax office closed. Now wondering what to do because I am very close to running out of my benzo and can not seem to find another doctor. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Much rather have assistance with being withdrawn by doctor than do it by myself! ## Hello, Williams! How are you? To continue the Methadone, you're only option is to stay at the clinic. It is illegal for a regular doctor to prescribe it for addiction or maintenance. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as ...

I live in Myrtle beach, SC and I am in desperate need of a doctor who writes for methadone. I have many physical disabilities and my family doctor was writing it for me as I am unable to afford going to the clinic every day. I am willing to travel. I have called quite a few docs and they wont even see me due to the fact I am on Methadone. I hate the whole stigma that comes with it. Please if anyone knows of any Doctors here or in the surrounding area please let me know.. ## Well, you may be creating part of the problem yourself, if you are calling and asking if they prescribe Methadone. When you call and ask if they will prescribe a specific medication, especially a controlled substance, most doctors will consider that to be drug seeking behavior. They view it as huge red flag and even ...

My finance has been attending a methadone clinic for about a month now. He is up to 95 ml of liquid methadone. This morning he missed his dosage and in fear of getting withdrawal he took a subutex. He is now getting insanely cold then hot then cold again. His legs are hurting him insanely bad. Should I be worried? Can someone please tell me what's going on? I have no idea about any of this stuff but I absolutely hate seeing him this way! HELP ME PLEASE!!!! ## I think it's called precipitated withdrawals. It's what happens when you take the suboxone before your body is completely rid of the methadone. Basically the suboxone is forcing his body to eliminate the methadone. This is what I gather from reading posts about switching from methadone to subs. They say at least 3 - 4 d...

have taken 4 10 mg of methadone pills and want to know when i can start taking subutext. b4 that taking 80 mg of oxy's off and on for 3 mo hear you can get very sick with subboxone if taken too soon but with subutext it is different? hear you can take as soon as you go into withdrawl ## That is correct, Suboxone contains Buprenorphine and Naloxone, which counterats opiates and can make you go into withdrawals, the Subutex does not. That said, it is actually the Suboxone that you are supposed to wait until you are in withdrawals to take, so it doesn't cause you to go into them by neutralizing the other opiates you have taken can cause a bad reaction. Subutex is generally started immediately, in place of the narcotics someone is taking and then gradually tapered. Are you seeing a ...

I recently have been taken off Suboxone because my addiction doctor is no longer taking my insurance. I've been on it for 8yrs so for him to just cut me and other patients off like that was wrong. I know I'm definitely going to have withdrawals soon because I've been on it for a long time. I've heard of another drug called Butrans just recently and was told that any doctor can prescribe it even if they don't have that special waiver that's needed in order to prescribe Suboxone. Can anyone tell me if that's true and if it is like Suboxone? I know it has to be prescribed for pain not addiction. Do insurance companies ask for anything special to be put on it like they do for Suboxone? I used to get blood work and u/a's monthly with counseling sessions. ## Th...

I had been on the suboxone film, for 5 months and prior to that the suboxone tabs with no problems, but due to insurance I had to switch to the white generic tabs, the first day I got hives all over my face, I am still getting them not as bad as the first day, and my mouth has become so sensetive, tooth paste, mints, pepper all burn my mouth bad, I have aslo been very sick to my stomach, today is day 6 on them. I live in Ma. and I was told they will only pay for the brand name if I have children under 7 in my custody, I was wondering id anyone else has had any problems with the generic suboxone... ## You definitely need to consult your doctor. The hives and other symptoms could be the sign that you're developing an allergic reaction that has the potential to be very dangerous. Learn mo...

a round pill with a d on one side and it has 155 on the other ## Hi Lois, It looks like this question has already been addressed in another thread here on the site: Discuss/Pill-d-On-One-Side-155-The-Other-244029_s2.htm Although someone mentioned that it was a generic Suboxone tablet, I haven't come across many other details to verify it's accuracy. Is Suboxone something that you think this might be, perhaps based on any past prescriptions or people you know? I hope this helps! ## Let me straighten ya all up a bit. Can't find any pics on any sites yet, since they just came out I guess. Just got my Generic Suboxone. It is white, round, 1/4 moon on it, 155 on one side. It states on the bottle Generic for Suboxone. It says Buprenorphin-Naloxon 8-2 MG TB. Manufacturer is Actavis...

I am detoxing off 130 mg tht I have been on for 6 years. I need a doctor in VA or NC, I live near Norfolk. Everyone wants to prescribe suboxone but my doctor warned me that if I take suboxone and have ANY methadone in my system that it will throw me into SEVERE withdrawal. Also, we are going to be trying for a baby soon so I cannot take Suboxone while breastfeeding. If you know of a doctor in or around Norfolk VA that can prescribe Subutex, not Suboxone please notify immediately. ## Really, the same doctors that prescribe Suboxone can also prescribe Subutex. Learn more Suboxone details here. However, they are most likely going to want you to start with Suboxone, then switch to Subutex, when you are pregnant. They will just have you wait, until you are in full withdrawal to start the med...

A friend of mine gave me a suboxone to try for heroin withdrawl. First i want to say this is a miracle pill. In my personal experience. Second thing is can i buy it in mexico? Its is way too costly without insurance. I desperately want to get off of heroin. I am ready, done and sick of it. Not just for myself but for my 10 year old daughter and my soon to be 7 year old son. I just want my life back. Its been two years now since i tried and got addicted. The only reason i keep doing it is to not feel s***ty and to function on a daily basis. And i know that suboxone will help me quit. Please anyone out there that can help me with an answer or where to find an answer would be helping a person to once again become a functioning member of society and two children that get their loving daddy ...

I do not understand what is happening as I have not done anything illegal and I was supposed to get off probation July 1st. Here's what happened on June 9th, I went in to take a urine drug test. I had my probation meeting on June 13th, and she said she still not got the results back yet but she went on to say this will be my last meeting and I should still get off July 1st if everything comes back normal. I was happy with that because I was confident and knew that I would not fail for anything because I have not done anything. I got a call from my probation officer on June 27th she told me that I tested positive for opiates and that I need to go pay the $25 to get it retested. So that same day I went up to avertest where I do my urine drug tests and paid the money to get that sample...

I took 16 mg of suboxone at 4am Saturday morning and got my morphine filled now. Is it safe to take it after 16 hours? ## Hello, Scott! How are you? No, the Naloxone in the Suboxone will prevent the Morphine from having any effect, you usually need to wait at least 72 hours, before other narcotics will work, again, unless your doctor instructs otherwise. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I felt my morphine after 48 hours of not taking suboxone. ## I have been taking 12mg of Suboxone a day for over a year now bc I have been going to a counseling/rehab place bc I am a chronic pain pat...

How long dose it take for methadone to go undetected if you're taking a drug test in a week ## They say 3 days but to be safe I would give it between 4-6 days to be 100% sure. ## Sir or madam: It depends on how long you have been taking the med and the strength. All narcotics build up and store in fat and even grows into your hair. One strand and they can measure how long you have been using it. It could take three months as everyone is different. Take your script to show them. Best of luck.

I'm on day 19 of suboxen withdrawal. Only problems I have is sever insomnia. Have not slept other than 1 hour every other night for 1 week. I tapered off very small dose slowly (.125 or.06). The pieces were so small I had to grab with little tweezers. When will I start sleeping? Also when will restless legs at night stop? ## I took saboxyn for two years and the whole time the clinic lied to me they said it was getting me off opiates but the fact is that it is a opiate I'm thinking of during them fact is that they make you think they are helping you while really they are getting you addicted to there drug I stead of another that your insurance pays for I'm proud of you for trying to stop taking it but I'm sorry to say you may have to go to a rehab because you will stay in...

I'm a recovering opiate addict needing to find a physician in Valdosta Georgia who will prescribe me methadone or subutex. I've been on methadone for a year, at 145 mg, and am waiting on my disability. I need somewhere I can go once a month. I have good drug panels and I'm compliant, but I need help. ## Unless you are pregnant, or have some other medical reason, such as an allergy, that doesn't prevent you from taking Suboxone, most doctor's will require you to take it, rather than Subutex. I live in USA and will be staying in Mazatlan Mexico for 31 days. I am in a methadone xlinic and my Dr. can prescribe me 26 days of methadone. They say to set up a courtesy dose. at a clinic in Mazatlan for the remaining days. Is there any methadone clinics in Mazatlan that could provide courtesy dosing? ## Hi Mona, I see no shortage of rehab facilities and drug addiction centers all throughout Mexico listed in the yellow pages. However, I haven't come across any specifically denoting "methadone" as an option (let alone in Mazatlan). NEED LISTS OF DRUGS THAT CAN GIVE A FALSE POSITIVE TEST FOR BARBITUATES. ## Hi Dale, Was there any specific drug in general you were thinking of? I have heard some horror stories about the effecta of taking Naloxone containing products long term. I have heard people say they had negative neurological effects from it as well as severe depression and other problems. I have also heard that Naloxone sucks all of the natural endorphins out of your body too. Doctors are really quick to prescribe a Naloxone/Buprenorphine combination product but never seem to be able to answer what the long/lifetime effects of Naloxone truly are. Has any research been conducted on the long term use of Naloxone? I am very concerned because it is nearly impossible to get a medication for drug addiction in this state that does not contain some amount of Naloxone. Since we are forced to take this medication, I think it is time we are told the truth about wha...
