I've been worried about this ever since I started and I haven't spoke to my doctor yet. I sincerely do not care about getting high anymore and this really bothers me. Can somebody please help? Thank you! ## There is no need to worry, they will be able to treat you. Subutex only contains the active ingredient Buprenorphine, it does not contain the added Naloxone that Suboxone does, which is the ingredient that neutralizes other opiates. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thank you! That...
Iv been on Suboxone for almost 2 years now , and iv tried every single manufacturer you can think off, starting from the very first orange oval shape ones which are the original ones not generic ones , from that to strips ,an415 orange round , white round moon imprint to, white round lemon lime ones to bupes, which are the small round ones and have a 8 logo on the front and a arrow logo on the back , and in my opinion those are the best ones because they have no naloxone in then just 8 mg of buprenorphine, those ones work the best but they are not given out much because or abuse, I am on the round peach ones right now imprint 54 375 and they are working perfectly for me , as a matter of fact they work really good for me way better then the white round ones with the imprint if moon on th...
I just got prescribed zubsolv and my last dose of opiates was last night around 6pm. It's now 10:30 the next morning. Can I take it now or do I have to wait till I start going into withdrawal more? How many hours do I have to wait after opiates until I can take zubsolv? ## Hello, Rebecca! How are you? You must be in full withdrawal, before you can take Zubsolv, otherwise it may throw you into dangerous precipitated withdrawals. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## My quistion is i take alot of lortabs but i took a half of the 5.7 subsolve today at 11 am its now midnight almost i just took two 10 mg hydrocodone/...
I am an addict who has successfully utilized Suboxone & Subutex as a means to keep a handle on my addiction. Medicare assigned HUMANA to me as my primary care insurance co Humana has denied payment for my prescription, claiming it is not formulatory. I appealed this decision & was denied M Dr.s. office has provided all documentation required them, proof that I attend substance abuse classes, I take periodic UA's and am in fact following through with all requirements, but I am STILL being denied!!! Please!, what can I do? ## Hi Sharky, Sorry to hear about your situation with the insurance company not wanting to budge. From my experience these types of companies can often be very difficult to work with, especially at times when you may need them most! It sounds to me like your...
I'm on methadone and would like to get a medical marijuana card. Is this possible, and if so will I need to lower my dosage? Please, any help would be appreciated. ## I myself would grant you.... anyway, things to consider are the methadone clinic's policy for marijuana. Methadone is a narcotic and is sometimes prescribed for pain. It is considered by some patients to be the best pain relief out there. However, methadone prescribed for pain is given in divided doses, for instance 10mgs 3 times or 4 times daily, unlike the one time daily dosage given at licensed methadone drug treatment clinics. The actual pain relieving properties of methadone wane in 5-6 hours. That is why methadone for pain management is given 3-4 times daily. (divided doses) This situation with clinic dosing ...
I take suboxone 12/3 mg once a day. Can I take one 100 mg morphine sulphate with it once a day? ## Hi Rob, According to umm.edu, suboxone shouldn't be taken with any opioids (i.e. morphine), since it can block its effects and potentially send you into immediate withdrawals - accompanied by a number of undesirable side effects such as increased anxiety, insomnia, nausea, difficulty breathing, sweating, cramps, etc. Having read that, it sounds to me like the wisest thing to do would probably be to contact your doctor about alternative ways to manage your pain in the event that suboxone 'or' morphine doesn't get the job done on their own. Some feedback I've read in other threads here even recommend trying methadone over suboxone; stating that it works better for their p...

T'Y ## Hello, Carrie! How are you? It would be best to double check with customs, however, in most cases, you can bring a 3 month supply of any prescribed medication with you into the U.S. Things may be different for the liquid, though. The FDA classifies Methadone as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness...

Has anyone noticed that the 8-2 sublingual strips have not been working as well for the last 3 months? Well they recalled them about 10 days ago! I noticed they were lighter in color and some of them were starting to crack. Help! ## Have you informed your pharmacy? In most cases you have to return to the source in order for a recall issue to be handled and to receive a replacement. For example, if you own a Ford and they issue a recall, you have to take your vehicle to a Ford dealer in order to receive a repair, or replacement. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Has anyone else experienced problems? ## Wtf. Me too. Something is wrong.with this batch. Its ...

I am an addict and did control my addiction with suboxone. From the beginning it made me sick to my stomach I stayed swollen, and never had any gritty up and go about myself. Well I tried the subutex on my own and the stomach issues were gone the swelling subside and I have more energy and gumption to get out and enjoy life. I am very low income and rely on my family for transportation. If anyone can give me names of doctors that will prescribe me the subutex in or close to Beckley west virginia and/or in Logan west virginia and accepts Medicaid I would forever be thankful for your help. Thank you for helping me out.

orange hexagon shaped pill stamped with N8 ## WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS TO THIS DRUG ## I found this pill orange hexagon shaped pill stamped with N8? What is this pill used for? ## I believe this pill is used for heroine addicts to help with withdrawals. ## what is the name of this hexagon shaped orange pill stamped with N8? ## The correct ID of this pill is Suboxone, which contains 8mgs of Buprenorphine and 2mgs of Naloxone. Suboxone is an opiate used to help treat drug addiction and in some instances, cases of severe pain when other options have been exhausted. You cannot get high from it, plus since it contains the Naloxone, it will prevent you from getting high off of other narcotics while you are under Suboxone treatment. The side effects are similar to other narcotics and can incl...
I Have been taking some form of opiates since I was 15. Im 29 years old now. I started with vicodin then graduated to percs. Soon after that I was 18 and taking oxicodin. When the oxies just weren't enough anymore I began to take H. I took H for about 2 years on and off and then was told through a friend about subxone. After 7 years being on subxone I finally realized, I had a major problem. My problem was me. I needed off the subxone so bad. I had already been to treatment 3 times in my life. Once for the vicodine ,once for the oxycodone once and for the H. I haven't gone back to any of those since. Once at treatment for the 4th time I felt ashamed to be there. But all I knew is I was done and didn't want to ever go back to any mind or mood altering substance ever again. On...
I'm trying to find the manufacturer actavis for Suboxone 8m.g. 2m.g. in Chesterfield, Colonial Heights, VA., I took these when I first started taking them and I was fine. Now they've switched me to amneal, I think, it's an orange round pill. I can't take this, I get so sick, migraines, nauseous, constipated it's not working as well, sometimes my back hurts so bad, I hate to even think it, but I feel like taking something for my back. ## What are the markings on them? Can you please post back and clarify? The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. ## Do you still get the Amneals? Or did you get switched?
As you all know, opioid dependence is more common than the abuse of or dependence on any other type of prescription medication. In fact, nearly 2 million Americans are considered opioid dependent, yet only 40% receive treatment. Currently, there are three FDA-approved medications indicated for the treatment of opioid dependence: methadone, buprenorphine and naltrexone IV. In the buprenorphine category, there is Suboxone Film (a buprenorphine/naloxone combination), buprenorphine (generic) and a new option Zubsolv. ZUBSOLV (buprenorphine and naloxone) sublingual tablet (CIII) provides a new maintenance treatment option that offers unique advantages specifically designed to address treatment preferences expressed by patients. This may have the potential to improve patient adherence, thereb...

It is used to help people detox from opiates such as vicodin, percocet, lortab, etc. The bupreorphone is used to help the withdrawal symptoms and the naloxone is to prevent a person from abusing the bupreoprphone, such as crushing it and snorting it or taking too many. ## umm... sorry but you are wrong. I'm on Methadone Maintenance. Sometimes I get constipation, last month I had to go to the ER it was that bad. I had my doctor appointment today and told him. He knows I'm a Methadone patient and he gave me samples of Amitza. When I looked up the drug it said something about it hasn't been proven to work when the opioid is Methadone. My question is Anyone here on Methadone Maintenance? And have you tried the medication is it dangerous taking them together .
