The main doctor over all of his pain management centers got into trouble and decided to take everyone off of methadone and fentanyl. Well I was on 60mg a day for six years. They have been doing a medication rotation on me since then. This is the first month they took the last 30mg of methadone away from me. I am on 40mg of oxycontin three times a day and 15 mg of oxycodone three times a day for breakthrough pain. I'm sure I will have a urine done next month. Should I be clean of methadone since it has had six years to build up in my system or will I test positive for a couple months? I really need to know what to look for after this drug test and I need to know if the methadone will be out of my system... I don't wan...
Ok. Can anyone help me find a website or websites that allow Medication Assisted Treatments (MAT) for Subutex and Suboxone patients? The doctors always want us to go to meetings but when you actually try to go to meetings NA doesn't condone MAT's to be a part of their program. So there needs to be online meetings for people that require medication and are in recovery. N.A. actually discriminates against us that are using medication (subutex, suboxone, methadone) to treat our addictions and it's just sad. We are people too and we are trying to better our lives. If I knew how to start one with online chat rooms, online meetings, etc I would. We need somewhere where we can tell our story and get the help we need and deserve. If there is such websites then I haven't been abl...
What is the difference between the large 8 mg subutex tablets and the small 8 mg subutex tablets? ## People argue that the large ones are stronger when they are the same milligram. Does anyone have some insight about this? ## The little 8 mg round ones with the arrow in the back of pill (prolly size of 5 mg oxycodone IR) are way better than Roxanne. They take effect faster and no filler and the plus it's so much smaller. Trust me, they work faster and last longer and have a cleaner bupe feeling. Btw, I hate suboxone - it's way diff. ## What is the difference between the subutex with the 54-411 and the one with just an 8 on them? ## I believe the color makes a difference.

i have pain all over body but worse in legs, was getting methadone from psychiatrist, but they will not allow him to prescribe any longer, they only want pain dr's to do it, however there is not one that will prescribe it. methadone has a bad stigma to it. i was only taking 2.5 mg a day. if anyone knows of a dr in wisconsin please help me out, the pain in legs is getting bad. ## I am sorry that you are suffering and yes, there is a very bad stigma associated with Methadone, because it is so habit forming and dangerous. Learn more Methadone details here. Have you considered trying a different medication? Being willing to do so would likely get your more help from a new doctor. In most cases, if you are trying to seek a certain specific medication, they will view that as drug seeking ...
It's been 20 hrs since I used an opiate. Am I safe to take my zubsolve I have been prescribed. ## This medication cannot be taken, until you are in full withdrawal, otherwise, it could throw you into dangerous precipitated withdrawals. There is no specific time frame that I can give you, because it can vary from person to person. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Yes - take 1 soon as you start to feel withdrawals. ## I've been taking 8mg Suboxone and now I have 5.7 mg Zubsolv. How am I gonna feel? I'm kinda scared after reading the post. ## I took opiates at 10 pm. How long do I wait to take Zubsolv?
I took an 8 mlg subutex about 24 hours ago. Is it safe to take roxicodone or other pain meds? ## No, they need to be separated by about 72 hours, in order for the other pain medications to be effective. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Subutex has no opiate blocker in them so you should be fine... suboxone on the other hand has an opiate blocker therefore depending on your body's tolerance and whatever you may or may be able to take other opioids... But I know from experience Subutex is different from suboxone, another opiate medication should work. ## I took a 1/4 dose of Buna...
round, white pill, blank on one side, and a line in the middle of the other side. Lt. Someone DOC gave it to me and said it was methadone. I don't take any type of pill that the military doctors give me without looking it up first. I can't seem to figure this one out... I'm having really bad back pains and thje pill did not work. Please help!!! ## Methadone comes in many ways, click on the link below to view a picture... Please post back with any more information so I can locate your pill. ## i got same from a buddy, was it 5 or 10 mg supposedly? ## I just got the same pill said it was 10mg methadose. Line on one side, blank on the other. Dissolved in water pretty quick like dones are supposed to but still not sure ## Methadone pills come in 2mg! not 15 20 25 ect. They are ma...
I need a pharmacy that carries the buprenorphine sublingual 8 milligram tablets besides Walmart ## It depends upon where you live, but my local Walgreens carries them, and a few locally-owned pharmacies do too. One thing is most pharmacies won't tell you over the phone, you're gonna have to go in and ask the pharmacist :/ I know that's rough sometimes, aside from the issue of driving all over creation from pharmacy to pharmacy there's the weird feeling that you're being judged by the pharmacist... There's a lot of totally unnecessary stigma around taking any controlled substance, especially bupe and methadone. Just hold your head high, remind yourself that you're okay exactly how you are and nobody has any right to judge your life, be polite and straightforwa...
I am looking for affordable Subutex, suboxone, buprenorphine doctor in Utah near the Salt Lake Valley or North Salt Lake, I just lost my insurance and I don't have a lot of money. I have been on subutex for 4 years and I have been without and am very very sick. I can't get out of bed and I am just trying to survive one minute at a time. If anyone can help me at all it would be very much appreciated. Thanks. ## You need to go to the emergency room bring proof because they're gonna wanna know I don't know if you have old prescription bottles if you have your medical records anything that can prove that you plan on {edited for privacy} ## Hello, Brielle! I have no way of knowing the associated costs, but you can use the search engine at Suboxone.com click here to search for...
My husband and I just moved to Valrico, FL and I'm looking for a doctor that would help with his methadone maintaince. My husband is taking 150mg and has to go all the way to tampa everyday. the problem is he is starting to work early mornings and by the time he gets a ride and comes back he is barley making it to work on time(if traffic is good). He wants the job but he isn't going to be able to maintain the job especially when he has to go out of town for several days at a time soon.he's taking the methadone due to a neck fracture from serveral years ago so he isn't a "junkie" looking for a new fix. Before it was easier to go to the clinics everyday, now its becoming a nuisance for the job and myself. We need this job to support our family . It would help if an...
So my Pain doctor got shut down been going for 15yrs saw about 5 different docs in that span of time. Now I'm trying to find a new one and it's near impossible!! So I was not gonna be stupid and go into withdraws. So I went to a sub doc immediately. Got in right away and Ben on subutex for almost a month while I try and find a new pain doc and it's crazy with all the new laws and South Florida running dry of docs. I find myself not being accepted anywhere. I don't know what to do. A couple of places told me,over the phone theirs no way I. gonna get close to what I've been prescribed for 4 yrs plus now 120 30mg oxycodone IR'S and oxymorphone 30mg ER'S 60!! Now I have an appointment on Fri but nothing is guaranteed that I'm gonna get even close to that. So ...
I live in Northern VA & was recently (& unfairly) discharged from my Dr. of over 4 yrs. I am nearly out of meds & NEED to find a new Dr. asap! I take methadone (& occasionally either opana 20er or oxycodone 10 mg for breakthrough pain only & rarely) If there's anyone who can help me find a new Dr. (NOT associated with the Alt-Med group!!!) I would be beyond grateful! PLEASE HELP! I've called at least 45 doctors & keep coming up empty: either they don't prescribe Methadone or they won't accept out-of-pocket pay! Grrrrr! I have 2 young children & CANNOT afford to go thru withdrawal!!! Thanks to anyone who responds helpfully... ## You might be better off going into a methadone clinic until you can find a doctor who will prescribe for you but if y...
I tried taking a suboxone 2 days after my last dose of methadone but am now in withdrawal. Can I take methadone now to bring me out? ## @JD To my knowledge there shouldn't be a problem with taking methadone "after" suboxone. Apparently if it's the other way around (suboxone "after" methadone), only then would you have to wait it out for several days in order to avoid being put into immediate withdrawals. I've also seen comments from other patients going from suboxone to methadone within a 24 hour period who said that they were completely fine and didn't experience any problems with sickness or withdrawal. But if you have personal experience going through this process that may be any different from what I've witnessed, please do post your feedback on t...

Could I be at risk of dying from 2mgs of Suboxone if I haven’t taken painkillers in a long time? Help me, I’m scared af to sleep. I know I’m stupid. ## Moose123, Before I get into too much detail of the drug I should ask a few questions first. Was the suboxone prescribed to you? If so have you ever taken suboxone previously so that you know you aren't allergic? If I were to assume that this medication was prescribed to you and that this is not your first time taking suboxone (based on you saying it's been a long time since you previously took painkillers) I would say that the only way I can see you dying in your sleep from taking this medication is an allergic reaction that you suddenly developed. According to the NIH there is no warnings or reports that I can ...
You people have no idea about how subutex/suboxone works. 1 you don't need to wait anymore than 24 hours to start subs if using H. 2 subs are both agonist and antagonist so once you reach a certain dose they effectively block out any other opiate/opiod that you try to use. 3 taking other opiates/opiods while on subs will NOT make you sick, you just won't feel their effects due to the subs blocking properties. 4 subs are not the magic bullet for addicts as you also become dependent on them and after being on subs for a while you will find that coming off them is VERY difficult and extremely long winded, the best you can hope for is to taper down to the smallest amount you can (I'm taking crumbs here; break your pills into small pieces when you want to get off them) but even d...
I suffer from severe chronic pain with all verified documentation. I have been on a couple of pain clinics that treated my chronic pain with prescribed methadone and oxycodone for breakthrough pain and had great success. then after being on these pain clinics for a lengthy period of time with ni incidents. I was told that they cannot continue prescribing me my necessary medications and i have to find another pain clinic or a new doctor i need very serious help ## Hello, Tony! How are you feeling? I'm very sorry about the problem you're having. Do you currently have a PCP that might be able to refer you to someone? Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, if you require such medications on a long-term ongoing basis, you'll need to stick with a pain managem...

My mom and I have been seeing the same dr for many years. Seeing my mom for 4 and me for 2. Before that I saw a different Dr for 4 years. Health Connect recently bought them out and now they aren't letting them prescribe Subutex. They gave us 3 months of meds and said they would send us referrals for other Dr's in the mail. We never got the referrals. It's hard enough to find a good Dr, much less one as cheap as the one we were seeing ($50 every other month or when we had it), but they never sent anything. My mom called 2 times asking about it and they told her each time that they sent it. Finally after days of bugging them they gave her the name of one Dr - a Dr that isn't currently taking patients. Now we have been kicked to the curb with no help. Aside from not having...
