Am I going to still be able to purchase the original Suboxone orange octagon shaped "original non generic" pills when I get my prescription filled? My pharmacy has the new generics in, but I do not want generic Suboxone. I want the original ones! ## Hi, Chrissy! I understand your concern, some people do have problems with generic medications. To avoid getting a generic, you need to ask your doctor to write the prescription as 'brand medically necessary' or to not check the substitutions permitted box, to sign on that line, or whatever one of the various methods your state uses. If that's not done, it is normal for your pharmacy to give you a generic, unless your paying cash and request otherwi...
Hi, IM LOOKING FOR A PRIVATE PRESCRIBER IN MASS. I'm on the methadone MMT program & i'm using it for mostly pain maknagement. Between major scolosis, 2 buldging disks right above my cocix(tailbone), i could barely before i got on the MMT,I used opiates to ease the pain & soon got addicted & found that methadone would help both pain management & sub abuse. i dont want to go daily, i have newborn twins, been on clinic 9yrs & have no cravings fordrugs, just very fearfull to detox of the methadone to find myself curled up in a ball not able to function due to the severe pain! i live in saugus mass. ARE THERE ANY DOCTERS THAT WILL PRESCRIBE METHADONE? PLEASE,IF ANYONE KNOWS, I HAVE BEEN 9YRS ON THE CLINIC (ALL CLEAN,NO RELAPSES) SO I JUST NEED IT FOR PAIN! MY EMAI...
Updated in MethadoneI read almost all your posts. I think I'm way off here probably just a little off in the head. I've been on vicoden and oxy's since 2003. 98% of the time I was buying the crap off the street. The other 2% I would intentionally hurt myself to get a script, pathetic I know. I took a leap of faith and stopped. Went to a Methadone clinic and regretted it ever since. Missed important life moments and lost all my friends. I was on that crap for 4 years and stopped after weening down to nothing. I was clean for over 6 months before cravings got the better of me and I started stealing family members suboxones strips. Now that member is stopping, I'm going nuts. Depressed and constantly thinking suicidal thoughts. I'm 26years old and I'm getting to thinking I need suboxon...
I'm on 130mil of methadone a day but got a couple 75mil tapenadols from a friend bc in 2 weeks had 6 teeth pulled and dentist only gave me 5mil hydros. So I just wanted to kno if I took them together I wouldn't go into withdraw. Please answer asap.. thanks guys ## Hello, Based on my research, using tapentadol with methadone can increase side effects like dizziness, impaired judgement or thinking, and difficulty concentrating. If you were to take all of these medications together for a considerate amount of time, there is the possibility of becoming dependent on them- so when you stop taking them you may experience some withdrawal symptoms. Everyone's body chemistry is unique though, so it's impossible for me to know how your body will react to the medications for certain...
Anybody in United States Rx'd these? Im on 8/mg. sl suboxone/naloxone owe day-for 18+ months. Wondering if US addictions Drs. Would consider the switch as I feel I'm getting closer to being buprenorphine free !!! Although not in the near future of 2 months or less. Can anyone relate please reply if so. Thank You all ***Btw*** I am not "after/seeking" 4 patches per month to use and or abuse I am curious if the mcg dosage released in the transdermal patch is a better way to titrate/taper opposed to 8/2mg daily of suboxone. ## Hi Skip, Based on my research, trans-dermal patches are a more effective way of delivering medication directly into the blood stream. Using a patch to taper may be slightly more difficult since you will have to cut the patch into smaller sections and ...
I don't know if there was a bottom number but it's a white round pill with 54 on top ## I located a white round pill with "54" on top and "142" on the bottom, to be identified as Methadone hydrochloride 10 mg. Manufacturer: Roxane Laboratories, Inc. National Drug Code (NDC): 00054-4571 Another white round pill with "54" on top and "411" on the bottom is identified as Buprenorphine hydrochloride 8 mg. Manufacturer: Roxane Laboratories, Inc. National Drug Code (NDC): 00054-0177 There happen to be at least a handful more of these types of pills (with "54" on top) from this particular manufacturer. So I'm thinking that Roxane Laboratories is the biggest candidate for being the manufacturer of your pill. If you don't find an exact match...
I live in south bend indiana and will travel to go to a clinic. I have been on methadone for years for pain. My doctor will no longer see me. Please help ## Methadone Clinics do not treat chronic pain. And there is a difference between physical dependance from taking it for a long time, as with chronic pain, and the criteria used when evaluating someone for methadone maintance due to addiction, If you're able to find a dr that will treat you, they will need to get a copy of your medical records from your last dr. You didn't say why your last dr refuses to treat you. But depending of the reason, it may be almost impossible to find a dr to treat you like you have been in the past.
son alledly robbed drug store after 6 days without availibility of Soboxon. Can this cold turkey withdrawl cause a person to rob a drug to obtain Suboxone? ## Hi Ron, Sorry to hear about what happened with your son. Based on what I've seen in other Suboxone-related threads here, this drug can influence serious personality changes. They are, however, not usually regarded as 'severe' unless the medication is being heavily abused. Some personality changes may also be a result of withdrawal symptoms, but the only types of people you hear about robbing places to get their fix are those who feel they are in grave danger without it. So I can only imagine that he must've had an extremely high tolerance to even reach that point of withdrawal. Do you know whether or not your son w...
I'm a chronic pain pt. I was on 16 mg of sub for pain for 2 straight years. It completely stopped working, when in the beginning it worked "good enough" now, my dr is a pain specialist and suboxone dr. He put me on a fentynal patch 25 mcg told me to take my last dose of sub and put patch on at same time because sub should b mostly out of my system within 12 hrs. I had no problem switching but a little wd from the sub. It is only day 4....dr said 40% of your opiod receptors r still open on sub!!! It only fills 60% of them. Still, enough to block most opiates, except very high doses. Now, I am just starting to feel the fentynal on day 4. But am still in moderate/sometimes severe pain. Anyone with a similar experience???? ## Hi Painpatient38, I haven't personally had an exp...

what is the price on the new generic suboxone sl 8 mg /2 mg per tablet? As I don't have insurance & have to buy them separate or a few at a time. ## This website does not manufacture, prescribe nor sell any medications, it is an information only website. That said, the price will vary from area to area, from pharmacy to pharmacy and according to how many you are buying. In most cases it is cheaper to buy a month's worth, as the individual price goes up if you buy lower amounts. Learn more Suboxone details here. Have you asked your local pharmacies for price quotes? ## In regards to people asking about generic Suboxone (buprenorphine/naloxone). It seems that the tablets cost more than the name brand strips. Even the generics, appear to cost slightly more than the name brand s...
I found one of these tablets in my daughters bedroom. Could someone help to identify it for me please? ## Hmmm - I'm not finding anything under standard U.S. prescription meds. It could be an over-the-counter (OTC) product, or something from outside the United States (such as a generic version of something from Canada). Does the arrow have a small 'p' shape in it? If so then I might be able to pinpoint the manufacturer and search from there. Any other details you can share which might lend other clues as well? ## hi there, no p on it i'm affraid. it's 7mm in diameter, pure white, 2 etched on side and thin line with a triagle ie.(a arrow) on the other side. ## It is a 2mg Buprenorphine tablet, I'm almost positive.
What can cause a false positive for suboxone? ## There are actually quite a few substances that can cause false positives for various opiates, far too many to list them all, actually. The biggest perpetrators are other synthetic or semi-synthetic opiates. What else were you taking? ## Tested positive for suboxone. Could other meds have caused this? Was recently put on prescriptions for Venlafaxine, Levofloxacin and Flucticasone. ## I was taking only butalbital in fioricet, cipro and trazadone for years
Need to know if there are. Any side effect to take nuvigel while on methadone prescribed to both but by two different doctors. Crossed my mind to ask my last visit. ## Based on my research, there are no drug interactions listed between Nuvigil (Armodafinil) and Methadone; so you should be fine taking the two together, unless otherwise told by your doctor for some reason or another. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Armodafinil Details You can learn more about this drug on the page for Methadone Details I hope this info helps!
pain ## ... ## Hello, Are you referring to Narcan perhaps? If so, Narcan (Naltrexone) Oral belongs to the drug class- opiate antagonists and works in the brain to prevent opiate effects (e.g., feelings of well-being, pain relief). It also decreases the desire to take opiates. It is used as part of a complete treatment program for drug abuse (e.g., compliance monitoring, counseling, behavioral contract, lifestyle changes). This medication may also be used to treat Septic shock and Respiration Disorders. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Naltrexone Details Do you have any more questions?

Thanks. ## The tablet with the 54 210 marking contains 5mgs of Methadone, which is an opiate used to treat pain and drug addiction. It does have the tendency to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and constipation. Learn more Methadone details here. And the tablet with the M 358 marking contains 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen, the active ingredients in Vicodin, this is a narcotic analgesic. I took the last of my doctor prescribed opiates on May 8. I started the patch (Butrans) 5mcg/hr on May 15. I went along fine for a few days, not feeling sick but not completely well either. Then on Monday, May 20 I went shopping and then broke out in a cold, clammy sweat, nose running, stomach cramping......very much like withdrawals but why would they come at this late date???? Doc told me to put on another patch to make it 10mcg and within half an hour I started to feel better and by an hour's time I was fine. Can anyone help me understand what happened? ## There are several factors that can affect how long it takes for a medication to leave your system and for withdrawals to hit. One would be the half-life of the medication in question, though you didn't mention which opiate ...
