Hi Ron,
Sorry to hear about what happened with your son. Based on what I've seen in other Suboxone-related threads here, this drug can influence serious personality changes. They are, however, not usually regarded as 'severe' unless the medication is being heavily abused. Some personality changes may also be a result of withdrawal symptoms, but the only types of people you hear about robbing places to get their fix are those who feel they are in grave danger without it. So I can only imagine that he must've had an extremely high tolerance to even reach that point of withdrawal.
Do you know whether or not your son was taking anything else alongside the Suboxone?
