I c the Cuyahoga Dr on 1of the latest posts but that is over 2 hours away. Please let me know if any places near me, thank u. ## Hi- wondering if youve found any help- yet. Does anyone know when a generic suboxone will be available ## Suboxone first received FDA approval in 2002 and the exclusivity patent will run out on August 30, 2013, but the doesn't necessarily mean that a generic will become available at that time. Learn more Suboxone details here. Are you having trouble affording this medication? ## The generic suboxone came out in February of this year..2013. I know this because i have them. They are white, have a half-moon on one side, and 155 on the other. They are much harder than the Orange tabs making them easier to break & proportion. Hope this helps.

I'm wondering if there are doctors available in Myrtle Beach, SC that can treat patients on a month to month schedule with methadone. I currently go to a clinic daily and am finding the fuel for transportation harder to come by everyday. I would like to see a doctor that can write prescriptions for methadone to avoid this. Thank you ## HI, Bobby! How are you? I'm sorry, but no there isn't a doctor that can do this. Regular doctors can only prescribe it for pain. To use it for addiction treatment, you have to go to one of the clinics and see those that are specially trained to treat with it. Unfortunately, that is the way the laws currently stand in the U.S. What you might want to do instead is contact a doctor in your area that treats with Suboxone to see if they have any op...

I am in the Suboxone program. I now take Subutex, but basically the same thing. I smoke pot and my doctor is getting tired of seeing this on my test. My question is if I get my friend to take a piece of Suboxone for the test then freeze the left over urine; will the Subutex/Suboxone still be detect the Subutex/Suboxone ingredient even though the urine was frozen and thawed by the next time I use it in four weeks? Or if I thaw the urine will the Sub ingredients be gone as well? ## It's not at the doctors discretion to decide to keep you as a patient when your drug screen test positive for narcotics. The doctor will eventually have to either drop you as a patient all together or cut down your prescription. That's a new regulation. My girlfriend has been seeing the same doctor for ...

I get dose everyday 120mg. And I was giving a drug test. It's been 24 hrs. Since my last dose. I give the urine first before getting dose and when my drug test came back it was negetive for all drugs plus the methadone. Now I like to know if its possible bc the clinic wants to take away my take homes.

My doctor has disappeared. He went out in March. At the March appointment I got two scripts for three a day (regular dose is two a day) one to fill that day and another to fill April 17 to cover up to June 17th. There was no rx for May and I stupidly did not start looking for new doctor because I trusted this doctor and had been going to him for over 2 years. The day before the June 17 appointment he calls, says he could not keep the appointment. At that time, I had a few left and told him that and it was “I don't know what to tell you and hung up”. I got into see someone a few Saturdays ago and they knew my situation and agreed to not make me start over and instead start right off treating monthly if I had printout from pharmacy saying that I had been on it. The doctor ...

I began seeing pain mgmt on Staten Island, NY in 1997. Began on 30 mg/day. It agreed with me just fine. Been on Permanent SSD and LTD since 2003 for life now. Was found fully favorable. Have DDD L5/S1 with right side herniation, (724.4) bilateral sensori motor polyneuropathy, osteoarthritis in hips, knees, ankles, thoracic muscle ache from T5-T7 Kyphosis...By 2002 I was on 100mg. By 2007 150mg (which was the highest), this went to 2011. Was compliant and routine from 1997 to present. We moved to NE Pennsylvannia in Feb 2010, but I kept going to my Staten Island doc every 3 months. However, in April 2011 I had one unusual for me bad incident with alcohol, my wife gave me a choice, 5-day detox or bye-bye. I went into detox, with my prescription bottle. They called my pain doc to "veri...

My girl is going on probation in Miami in 7 days. It's not a drug charge, but her lawyer has her thinking that they will drug test her because she's only on probation for one day. He also has her convinced it'll be a 12 panel that will include buprenorphine. She has been taking 8mg sub daily for the last year, and 4mg the last 4 days. She is 105 lbs, 5'06 and has a fast metabolism, but is freaking out. #1, what kind of test do they give in Dade County? Instant or lab? What did they test for? #2 How long will it take for the buprenorphine to be out of her system so she can pass her test no worries? Is there anything she can do to help speed it up without using head-shop bulls***? Thank you for your help

I live in NH and a long list to wait. I got into a situation I've been seeing the doctor always clean urine, never any issues then one day I go in and they swear they called me in but because I had recently moved I had given my moms # and she had her call history going back 2 months and no call at all. Unless they called my old # so now I go back on the list and have been waiting for 3 months. I'm a mess there is only one other clinic around here and its almost a year to wait.. I'm at a loss. There have been people I know that called and got put on the list way after the day this happened and they are already in. I just don't know what to do. She said there was nothing she could do but put me back on the list. And its driving me nuts because I know people who get their p...

They now have generic Suboxone pills, but I do not want the generic pills. Am I going to still be able to purchase the original Suboxone orange octagon shaped "original non generic" pills when I get my prescription filled? My pharmacy has the new generics in, but I do not want generic Suboxone. I want the original ones! ## From what I've read, there have been some complications with the manufacturers who distribute Suboxone and the regular ones may not be available right now. There isn't a lot of pertinent information about this issue that I can find, so you may have to look around for some other pharmacies. I wish I could be of more help! If anyone else knows more about this topic, please share!

There's a new Sub Clinic in Tri Cities, WA. Opening early July 2012. in Kennewick, WA. Name: Ideal Option Suboxone Clinic Address: 415 North Morain Street, Suite B Tri Cities, WA 99336 Phone number: 509-222-1275 Hope this helps! ## Hi Sub, Thanks for that information. I'll add some additional information regarding Suboxone for anyone who is curious: Suboxone (Buprenorphine) is a semi-synthetic opioid that is used to treat opioid addiction in higher dosages (>2mg), to control moderate acute pain in non-opioid-tolerant individuals in lower dosages, and to control moderate chronic pain. It is available in a variety of formulations: Subutex, Suboxone (Buprenorphine HCl and naloxone HCl; typically used for opioid addiction), Temgesic (sublingual tablets for moderate to severe pai...

Yes I live in Ohio I am an oppiate addict who is on disability ive been through it all i want to know if Ohio Disability ssd covers anything the meds or the visits to the doctors? ## Hi Gene, Based on my research, the Social Security Administration (SSA) webpage for some reason, does not actually list any of the types of services or disability that it supposedly covers. Basic information about the program can be found in the following pdf document. But I have yet to find specific details on coverage: ssa.gov/pubs/EN-05-10029.pdf However, from the looks of things, it seems like your best bet at this point would be to either contact the SSA directly regarding their coverage, or to discuss any type of disability information with your doctor. Reason being is that every doctor may have diffe...

Hi. I recently stopped taking 180 mgs. of OxyContin twice a day. I had been on that dose for eleven years. I'm now taking 8mgs of Subutex 3x a day. I'm getting some pain relief but I'm still at a 7 for my average pain scale. When I was on the OxyContin I was at an average 10 pain for the last 21/2 years. That is why I went off it. My main question is what is the max dosage of the Subutex I can take a day? Thank you so much. ## From what I've read, the maximum daily dose of Buprenorphine (Subutex) is listed at 32mgs. So with your current dose being 8mgs 3x daily, you're one more dose away from the maximum. If you're also interested in reading other patient reviews, there happens to be another discussion thread here on this same topic, that you can have a look at i...

I have been on suboxone for two mths but ran out and slipped up and took about 2 1/2 roxys and my pee test for the doc is mon will i be ok ## Roxicodone can be detected in your urine for up to 3-4 days after your last dose. Depending on the amount taken, you can also determine a more specific time frame as to when it will be out of your system, by going off of the half life of the drug itself (which is 3-4 hours). Half-life here means that, say, 4 hours after ingesting a Roxy, half of the active amount will be gone. This doesn't mean that 4 hours later, though, the other half will be gone. At that point half of the remainder will be gone, then another half after the same time interval, and so on, until the drug is eliminated from the body. I hope this helps to answer your question! ...

I take these for chronic back pain and I have a bad cough so doc gave me this cough syrup but it was new clinic n didn't ask what else I was on and I'm so sick it slipped my mind as well ## Well that would be adding another narcotic to the mix, since Codeine is one of the ingredients. As I'm sure you're aware, they can all cause depression of the central nervous system, so they more you take, the more risky it gets. Symptoms of dangerous CNS depression may include extreme drowsiness, shallow breathing, lowered heart rate, dizziness and somnolence. Learn more Codeine details here. How tolerant are you to opiates? It would likely be best to check with your doctor or pharmacist, before adding another, just for your own safety.

Is there any codine in this medicatation? Iam looking for pain med for torn manicus but im allergic to codine ## Hello chellymmm, I have identified a green oval/elliptical shaped pill with the imprint WATSON 395 50 0 .5 as Naloxone hydrochloride and Pentazocine hydrochloride. It contains (0.5 mg) of Naloxone and (50 mg) of Pentazocine. Manufacturer: Watson Pharmaceuticals National Drug Code (NDC): 00591-0395 Based on my research, this medication doesn't actually contain codeine. However, studies have shown that a (50 mg) dose-when administered orally- appears to have an equivalent analgesic effect to (60 mg) or 1 grain of codeine. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Naloxone Details You can learn more about this drug on the page for Pentazocine Details I hope this hel...
