I live in Indy and an wondering if there is a doctor that would prescribe suboxone for short term use? Like a prescription for a couple weeks. They have no insurance. They have tried suboxone before and just need to kick a small habit but the mental part gets him. Is this even possible without going through classes post treatment etc., short and sweet that what they want. They are very knowledgable in everything out there. Please help! I take about 12 mg of subutex a day I haven't been on the program long but long story short,I got staff in my foot and IM sure we all know how that happened .someone told me I could take golden seal root to get by till the health dept can see me next week but IM worried it could have an adverse effect on my meds. PLEASE HELP...Is there a yellow methadone pill? That's football shaped? Idk anything about methadone but that I took a white bar one , one time thinking it was a xanex which I've been on 16 years& had thee worst allergic reaction! Is everyone here perscribed Suboxone for drug dependency, addiction or abuse? is anyone here perscribed Suboxone for pain only? I asked this because I am on Suboxone and my pain Dr put me on suboxone.. For 8 years i was taking 80mg oxycontin x2 daily and 4 10mg perc x4 daily and it was not handling my pain very well.. after being put on suboxone i am doing much better, I only need 12 mg a day to keep my pain at a tolerable level.. i don't understand why it isn't being perscribed more for pain... My friends are telling me that eventually my dose will be cut and I will be taken off the drug and I wont be given anything else afterwords.. There telling me everyone eventually gets cut off because thats what it for... Thats makes no sence to me I am not on it for ddiction so I see no ...

THERE ARE 2 OR 3 PILL FORMS OF METHODONE; 1 IS ROUND,1 IS OBLONG AND ARE MADE BY MYLAN PHARMACEUTICALS..WHAT MARKINGS ARE ON THE OBLONG METHADONE PILLS? ## Hi, Hoss! How are you? My message is for the person who was saying something about other companies not making suboxone because the first company has the rights to making it exclusively. While it is true for a period of I believe somewhere between 3 -7 years after it hits the market, suboxone has been around long enough that other companies can now make the same medicine and be in direct competition with the makers of the original suboxone. And there are several different generic suboxone makers now. It's big business and big money to these corporations that those of us dependent on the drug remain hooked just as we were our drug of choice. Ive been using H for 6 weeks regularly, before that i was clean for 10 days and before that i used it fir a month and before that i was totally clean and ive started doing H agaun on the 9th of july none gram daily till now its 13th of sep now and i used it , on a foil paper and today is my last day todays 13th sep and i have a urine drug test on 1st of oct please help me out to clear the test, i want the test to come clean would if i drink a gallon of water in a day or ang liquide juice dailly will it help me out to take this out from my system. i have been clean off pot for 3wks i have to take a drug test in a week but can't use fake urine cause i need my methadone to show how do i get the pot out off my system in time? i've been drink nothing but water but i don't know that it will help any one have answers please help ## If you're really doubting whether or not you'd pass a urine test, I would recommend doing some sort of detox cleanse (colon cleanser), along with cranberry juice (to help clean the urinary tract), frequent exercise for at least an hour a day to help sweat out any toxins. How long does it take to ween off Suboxone? I've been taking 8 mgs for about 9 months. ## Hi willy, Usually for drugs like this the safest way to stop taking them is to tapper off them, "if possible". Some medications can be taken in fractions (actually cut into pieces) and these smaller pieces can be taken in place of the regular dose for a period of several weeks until the body is no longer dependent upon them. In my honest opinion though, I think if you took a look at this other thread on Suboxone Abuse, and read post number 42 by James, it would be of great help: You may also want to consider posting in that thread to gain more help and support from these other users with personal experience. My problem of heroin abuse has been sporadic, I wrnt to clinic and they tried to put me on meth, so I decided to get subs of the street along with valium, im now day two of heroin 4mg a day going to cut down to 2mg tmoz then 1 it can be done its not pure easy but better than tied to a chemist,im now gping togo for councelling and do meetings ,,,fingers crossed x

That's why, when used to treat drug addiction, many patients end up on a lifetime maintenance dose of it and never truly being able to get drug free. In addition, the withdrawals that it can cause are severe and can put someone in life threatening danger. Have you consulted a doctor for assistance?
