I was just at my PO. I used methadone six days ago. She sent my ua in to be tested. Do you think it will be positive.I am a think woman and pretty active do you think it will be positive? ## Hi scarf, From what I could gather, Methadone can be detected in your urine for as long as 6-12 days after your last dose; depending on the dosage and frequency of use. If you're pretty active (exercising at least 3 days a week) it will be out of your system much sooner than if you weren't doing anything. I would've also suggested drinking plenty of fluids to help flush your system out, but I'm sure you already did what you could in the time frame you had. Ive been using opiates for a few years now and im just gettin sick and tired of the bull thats involved with it. I cop my pills illegally and its only a matter of time before something happens. My tolerance levels are threw the roof and im looking to use subutex to get threw the day. I dont even get high anymore unless i do an excessive amount. Im looking into subutex so i can have energy to work. I work a very physically demanding job and unless i am on opiates i have no drive to get things done when i am working. I have been on a methadone programme for 3 years now and recently I had a urine drug screen done which came up positive for fluoxitine which the lab tech interpreted as diazepam. I had injected my methadone a few times prior to this test is it possible that by injecting it it gave them the reading of fluoxetine or diazepam?? I drank 5 6oz glasses of water 30 to 45 minutes prior to a strip drug test plus I also took 1 12 hours prior to that. How could I NOT receive a positive result? I have lost my ability to receive any more scripts because of this and I am bewildered! ## You're saying the Methadone didn't show up on the urine test? With all that water, immediately prior to the test, it is possible that it diluted your urine far too much for it to be detected. Another question is, where you taking it regularly, as often as you were supposed to? Manufacturer: Sandoz Pharmaceuticals Inc. Bupropion is an atypical antidepressant and smoking cessation aid. Why are people staying on this drug for so long? I kicked a major heroin addiction with 5 days worth of pills I scored on the street. I felt anxious and weak a couple days after the pills but then was fine. ## The time the drug therapy is required can depend upon the length and intensity of the person's addiction. ## Some people in drug addictions have trouble finding something eles in there lives that makes them feel happy, or reason to live even. I've had severe RLS for 40 years and over the years have tried everything. Sinemet worked well for years, then augmentation and rebound set in. Requip didn't help. Have tried at varying times: darvocet, fentanyl, valium, klonopin. Finally found relief about 7 years ago with Methadone 10 mg twice daily and am able to rest at night and function well at work. I am moving to San Francisco in a week and will need a doctor to prescribe. Does anyone know a doctor who understands RLS or a pain doctor that will Rx opioid longterm? Thank you.

I have to get into diversion.and the diversion officer told me they will take a hair drug test. And I know that suboxone does not show in a urine test,but I'm freaking out bc I don't know for sure about suboxone on a hair test, and I don't know if a diversion officer would be paying extra for a sub kind of test, being that I'm just applying to get on diversion. I am currently a patient at a Methadone Clinic and have been for over 3 years now. I have never failed a drug test at my clinic in the 3+ years I've been a patient. This morning my counsler calls me to tell me that 3-4 weeks ago I tested positive for buprenorphine. She resubmitted it to the lab for further testing, and it still came back with a positivie result. I take 140mgs. of Methadone daily, motrin or excedrine when needed, and Diphenhydramine at night to sleep. I've been taking this combination of meds for 3+ years as well, never having received a positive result for anything other than Methadone until now. So last weds. My drs nurse called and asked me to come in and do a pill count I called back and let them know that I am not in town, well the nurse said she is canceling all my appointments and I am being discharged from the program! I was very upset about this so I kept calling and calling with no results well then Friday my dr herself called and told me that on Monday I can come in for my appointment as scheduled but if my levels are off I will be kicked out of program immediately. Well I really don't have everything in my system as I got them stolen but I could not tell the dr that as I was already in trouble for not coming in for a count . I need to know how to bring my levels for subtexts back up? I am being given a second chance to be on the program and my levels have to be right which is 12 Mgs a day. I have not taken 12 Mgs for a week in a half as I was only taking 4 Mgs a day because they got stolen, my dr would not accept that as an excuse she just said i will have a chance on monday to stat on the program but my levels have to be right, my friend wants to help but I do not want to put her in a bad spot as I will owe her. The best thing to do, once you're in your new location, would be to find yourself a general practitioner and then have them refer you to a pain management specialist. Under the new regulations, a GP won't be able to prescribe such a medication for long-term pain management. I NEED TO FIND A DISTRIBUTOR ## Sorry, this is an information only site, this site does not sell, nor distribute drugs. ## I can name off 2 manufacturers of the 40 mg dose (although I believe they may be getting discontinued). Anyways, they are Mallincrodt Pharmaceuticals and Cebert Pharmaceuticals. Have you had any luck? ## 40mg methadone WAFERS not "biscuits" are used in clinics only. I doubt you will be able to find anyone other then a methadone clinic to give them to you. I think maybe a pharmacist can order them, but will he? Unless you go to a mom and pop drugs store as opposed to Wallgreens, CVS, etc. you won't get them. Sorry, but I am 90% sure of what I am saying

I've seen 2 people recently, in the ER for psych evals, who have had urine drug screens show positive for both PCP and Methadone (neither uses either drug). One is a 33yoF, the other is 81yoM. The only common factor I've found so far is that they both take Rhythmol. Anyone ever heard of this? ## I just found this question because my mom (75yoF) just showed positive for PCP and methadone in a urine drug screen. She also takes Rythmol (has for many years), but has recently developed psychiatric symptoms. Was there ever any follow-up on this?
