Greetings, Sorry for the nature of this post and I understand taking unprescribed medication is wrong and I am once again dealing with the aftermath. I'm a 36 year old male, 5'7" 235LB I am a graduate of Teen Challenge a year long program that deals with drug abuse. I have never done it but know many people who have. Why are People so quick to say it's just them when a number are having trouble. If one or two have a problem its them,a whole bunch means someone needs to check out their "Drug Dealers". Come on now isn't it about time someone started to look after the people who have no voice? I allways try to. My pain problem with my pain managment "Doctor" verges on abuse of power.

I started my program today. 4mg per day is the magic number. I had to take one 2mg then wait an hour to see the Dr again. Then given another 2mg. When I left I felt like I was high. About an hour later I started to throw up. Does it help to take this with food? I know it's a side affect, does it go away? ## I am not sure how much taking it with food would help, since it is making you sick. Im want to kick my opiate addiction! I want to know how much suboxone will i need to take a day? Does it really work? How much does it cost?...etc... Ive been taking opiates for 10 years but only everyday for the past 4 years. I take 100mg-150mg of morphine or 20-30mg of methadone a day. I tried to quit cold turkey by slowly weaning myself down for about 2 weeks to nothing. What a mistake that was, even after 7 days of not taking anything i was just as sick as i was on day 1. I thought about getting on the methadone clinic but its too much of a hassle for me. I also dont want anyone to know about my addition, kinda hard to do when you need to go to the clinic everyday. Well, I am 42 years of male, whose been in and out of opiate addiction and went to rehab numerous time. But for the last 4-5 years I totally stopped and lead a clean life. Since then I never returned to heroin. But last 1 & a half years I started using (IV'ing) Suboxone (buprenorphine) 4ml with 4ml Avil (Pheniramine Maleate a kind of antihistamine and allergic). So this is my real cry for help and I pray that I can find it here, I'm a young woman, kids, beautiful home, hubby, great job, blah blah from the outside. The truth is that I have had approx 18 knee surgeries over the years including a total knee replacement, I got on percocet cause it really did help with pain, I have never done any drugs, no cannabis, don't drink, nothing!!! Want to know how many 8mg suboxone strips it takes to reach the 'ceiling effect' which docs say is equivalent to 30mg of methadone? ## Sub dr. told me 32mg or 4 of the 8/2 strips. Both it and Methadone can cause depression of the central nervous system, which could cause dangerous lowered heart rate, blood pressure and shallow breathing. I'm Chris Robert 55-years old, and 25-years ago I was a scaffold builder, I fell 80 feet off my scaffold that's the same as falling from a 6-story building..
