Methadone Question

Sorry for the nature of this post and I understand taking unprescribed medication is wrong and I am once again dealing with the aftermath.
I'm a 36 year old male, 5'7" 235LB
I am a graduate of Teen Challenge a year long program that deals with drug abuse. I have came a long way from where I use to be, but just last week I sliped up and I found myself taking one 5mg Methadone pill a day for about five days and I'm so mad at myself I can't take it. The upsetting thing is that I just found out I passed my GED test and now can get a better job. I know methadone can stay in your system a long time but with the info can anyone guide me on how long I should wait to take a preemployment drug test. I'm hoping because it was little doses that it might not show up... any info would be helpful
