Hi Everyone ! Just wanted 2 let u people know of something I was told. I live in RI and we get some bad snow storms and , sometimes , hurricanes. My Dr and his nurse had advised me 2 put aside extra medication each month incase of something happening where I can't get 2 the pharmacy. Or, the pharmacy might b closed due 2 bad weather. Sometimes, the pharmacy doesn't have the suboxone or my other medications in stock, and have 2 order them. So , what I'll do is call my scripts in 1 day early and put that extra day away . They say it's good 2 have. 7-10 days worth, put away. Then u just switch them out with new ones b 4 they expire. It's a good thing. 2 do, if u can . Because, we had a hurricane. 2 years ago and thank God I had the extras put away, no electricity 4 almo...

I am prescribed 3 8 MG tablets a day, which most of the time I only take one maybe two depending on how early I wake up and how late I go to sleep. I am also on Kps for my anxiety and Lexapro 20 MG for my depression. This past month I got my tablets filled the day after Thanksgiving, which was Black Friday (UGH) and I have been feeling horrible off of them ever since. Could I have received a bad batch of pills? I know they are discontinuing them and we will be on strictly strips from here on out, or could it be that no matter how many I take I have reached my ceiling effect already this soon?? I am hoping that I have not reached this b/c I am having to take anywhere now from 3-4 a day sometimes b/c I feel that bad if I do not take more. I will have to switch to methadone if this continu...

I'm moving to atlanta in sept n looking for a Suboxone dr there that takes health care or clinic if anyone could help ## Hello, Peaches! How are you? There is a search engine on the website that lets you look for a doctor by zip code, it's at Suboxone.com click here. And it will include contact information so you can check with them to see if they accept your insurance. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

I just got a positive lab test for methadone but I have never taken the drug before. I am in a treatment center that gives me meds daily and it has been showing up since I got here. My probation officer thinks i am getting this drug in my treatment center illegally somehow and this is impossible. I am currently taking sertraline, propanolo, oxcarbazepine, trazodone, cetirizine and buspirone. Can any of these or a combination of these cause a certified lab to falsely test urine for methadone? ## I have been reading that Zolft, or sertraline, can cause a false positive for methadone.

Where are doctors who have the guts to give scripts that work? Where are the 30s??? Stop hiding docs and do your jobs..... ## It's not the doctors nor the drugs. It's the drug addicts and dealers is as to why ppl who needs meds for real reasons can't get them. Plus in state of Virginia, all doctors now have to meet with the DEA every six months and go over every patients charts to see if that person needs prescribed meds. That patient must undergo a full pain evaluation once a year for DEA. If their problems, illnesses don't meet certain criteria then dr. has cut them off that drug or lose their lic. ## There are only a few doctors left to prescribe strong narcotics. These doctors are usually in a pain clinic. Doctors are becoming more and more afraid to write prescripti...

i have been diagnosed with having a tumor that needs to be removed i am worried about if something were to happen suddenly that i would be unable to have surgery do to the blockades of nioxin that suboxon has and not subutex is this correct ## Suboxone has Buprenorphine & Naloxone in it. The Naloxone will partially or completely reverse any narcotic effects. Subutex only has Buprenorphine. I have chronic pain & have been on Subutex for years (34 mg per day) & have had a couple of operations in this time. I believe you would be much better off on Subutex. It would be worth talking to your Doctor about your concerns. Goodluck! ## There is not enough in this to interfere with large doses or narcotics or anesthetics. ## ineed to find a subutex dr for cronic pain i hav a bad back...

Wr need help ## Hello, Misty! How is your mother doing? Unfortunately, since she has been going to a clinic, a regular doctor will not be able to prescribe Methadone for her, they can only prescribe it for pain and with an addiction clinic noted in her medical records, the law ties their hands on the matter. I switched last week Sunday(today is Saturday 6 days later) from a daily dose of 60mg methadone to a daily dose of 8mg suboxone. I went 4 days of detox hell and even though I thought I was going to absolutely die, I did it because I thought that switching to subo was a better option than the many downfalls of daily trips to the methadone clinic. I have taken subo before and it worked well, gave me that energetic upbeat feeling that methadone gave me. Made me feel good, but normal good. Well, since I started the suboxone again a couple days ago I feel NOTHING. I feel tired, achy, no energy, and no lil boost of pep like I did on the methadone and like I did the last time on subo. What gives? Im crabby, tired, cold, achy, have I made a horrible mistake and should have stayed on the methado...

Are there any drs in upstate SC who take medicaid for suboxone?? How long will medicaid pay for the suboxone? ## Hello, Julie! How are you? I am not sure what the regulations are for Medicaid covering it. I'd suggest contacting them to check. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## It is up to each state to decide what meds they want to cover. You can call Medicaid in your state or you can ask a pharmacist. Although, not every pharma...

I have been on suboxone for 8 years now. I use 2 b on methadone for almost 5 years. I had a really bad addiction 2 Oxys. When it came down 2 tapering off the methadone, I went from 110 to 24. Couldn't take the withdrawals, so, Dr put me on subs. I also suffer from a lot of pain due 2 bulging discs, spinal stenosis, bi- lateral neuropathy, sciatica , etc ... I know that some people stay on methadone 4 life. I feel I'm going 2 b on the subs. 4 a long time. I'm afraid of going back on opiates , due 2 my pain and addiction. Is there anyone else out there who has been on subs a long time ? Or, feel the way I do ? Because, I feel so all alone in this situation. ## I have been on subutex for 8 yrs also, i was first prescribed 4, 8mgs a day. That is way way to much for anyone. I onl...

I'm a woman with sickle cell disease and I'm 12weeks pregnant and they have me on a very high dose of methadone is there a conversion from methadone to dilidad ## Hello, Jennifer! How are you? The reason they have you on Methadone is because it's considered safer to take while pregnant, so no one is going to be willing got prescribed Dilaudid for you. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. What dose do they have you taking?

I am looking for a pain doctor who prescribes methadone for pain in the Philadelphia are ## I've been on methadone pain management for over 10 years and recently moved from n.j to ny I need to find a doctor in nyc area that can help I'm on 200mgs a day ## Both of you will find it much easier to find a doctor if you aren't calling around asking if they'll prescribe any certain medication, because most doctors consider that to be drug seeking behavior. The best thing you can both do is to find a new physician and make sure that they receive a full copy of your medical records. If they can see what does and doesn't work for you, as documented by a fellow physician, they will be more likely to prescribe accordingly. Learn more Methadone details here. Does anyone else hav...

It's been a month without suboxone and I tapered down very low so it wasn't too bad but depression is horrible. Will it stop? I have one thought, doom! I'm scared. I have a traumatic brain injury due to a car accident where I fractured my skull, and broke my neck. I was on suboxone for 3 years at the time and 3 years since. Highest dosage was 4 mg. I'm on cymbalta, max dose. Seroquol. Now lotuda. I almost want to go back on sub. And just live on 1 mg. never had depression like this. Just feel like I'm not gonna kick the depression. If I didn't have 3 young sons I would contemplate taking my own life but would never do that to my wife or kids. Just wondering if anyone has been in hell like this? ## Dear John, I'm so sorry 2 hear about yor situation. But, wanti...

can you take these together ## I am prescribed to adderall 20 mg 3x daily, suboxone8/2 5x daily, and xanax 2 mg 5x daily! I am pretty sure its fine to take together otherwise I might be dead. I heard that taking xanax and suboxone together isnt good tho. ## If your doctor is aware of everything you are taking and still prescribed them together, and in addition your pharmacy filled them all without any warnings, then you have nothing to worry about. ## if your saying your on forty milagrams of suboxone that is way too much even by itself let alone with zanax. ## I agree I would try to cut down on the suboxone 2 maybe 8 to 16 milligrams a day and switch to klonopin vs xanax my doctor love xanax but I find the Klonopin works much better for me I don't have those mini panic attacks and ...
