I just moved to Florida from north Carolina and can't find a doctor to prescribe me what I need. If u have any information to help me, please let me know. Thanks! ## Who was your doc I'm in nc and desperately need like you. ## Tjuggz, This forum is not a medical referral nor protocol recommending site. History has proven when these prescribers are disclosed they are inundated with legit and recreational users as well often necessitating said provider to cease operations. Sadly it's the way our medical system has degraded that so many are left untreated but risking the treatment of those with established providers isn't the answer. Have you reached out to your loca...
I need to find a doctor to prescribe subutex for pain. Can Doctors in TN prescribe it for pain? If so, what doctors in middle TN do prescribe it for pain? I was on pain pills for years. They don't help any more. Only subutex does. Please help. I'm desperate. ## Hello, Robin! How are you? Yes, any doctor can prescribe it for pain. However, since it is a controlled substance, if you require it on a long-term ongoing basis for the treatment of chronic pain, you'll most likely need to see a pain management specialist. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. But you'll have to set up an appointment with a doctor, withou...

Then went to 4 suboxone 8mg a day and i moved to the DFW area and i cant find any doctor SO PLEASE SOMEONE HELP...... ## Cook Children's has a website at cookchp.org and there is a portal for members to use that lets you access features, such as a search for a provider in your area that accepts it. You can find it by looking in the orange box on the left side of the page, near the top is "Member Online Services". I think that would likely be the easiest way to find someone that can help you. Does anyone happen to know of a doctor in that area that accepts this coverage? ## Look up Kratom. It's an herb. When you finally try it, your search will change from looking for doctors...

PLEASE ANSWER. I am in the program, take my Subs, and stay clean. The only thing I do is consume marijuana. I am going to give a friend a Sub and use his urine for the test. Question is, if I freeze the left over urine with the metabolized Sub next time I test (4 weeks later) will the buprenorphine still show up, or will buprenorphine be un-detectable due to freezing, time frame of freezing, de-thawing, etc.? Nobody seems to know the answer. ## will buprenorphine show up as an opiate on a urine screen the same as a vicodin would iam in a pain management clinic and am supposed to be taking vicodin but like these patches better when tested will it show up as just an opiate or something different? ## I'm in work release and get tested every week they use a 9 panel icup rapid drug test!...

My daughter stole four of my 8 mlg tablets. Of course she denies it but that's a different story. I have been on subs for years due to an option addiction I had due to a back injury. Anyway, I only take 4 mlg a day. I don't see my dr until wed and now I only have enough to take 2mlg a day. Will this be ok to taper from 4mlg to 2mlg for a few days? ## Did you go through any withdrawal? If so how bad was it? ## If you do so, you may experience some minor withdrawal symptoms due to the sudden drop in dosage, which may include nausea, diarrhea, rebound pain, rebound headache, tremors, sweating, chills, and fever. Ref: Opioid Withdrawal Information Although your symptoms shouldn't be as bad as they would if you stopped taking it entirely. However, the best thing to do would be to...
v ## i have a mother who is addicted to pills last night she took 25 pills and she will not admit to having a problem ## HAVE SOME QUESTIONS MY MOTHERS DOCTOR TOLD HER SHE CAN TAKE METHODONE FOR PAIN IS THAT TRUE ## Yes, Methadone can be used for pain, though it is generally only used when other pain medication options have been exhausted. If she took that many pills, then she definitely has a problem and you should speak to her doctor. ## Yes methadone is a GREAT pill for pain. I have MS and I used it for my pain for a long time..But it does take a while to build up in ur system so they usually start u off on a small amount as first then increase it as it builds up in ur system ## I got these pills marked 2355 and I'm not sure what they're for?
round white pill 54 411 on one side and the other blank ## its an 8mg generic subutex, same as suboxone ## This is a Generic Subutex OPIOD pill used to treat opiod dependence as in heroin addicts, etc. Sort of like Methadone. These pills are very very new as generics and hard to find, they were released by roxane pharmacuticals on october 9th of 2009. They are made with Talc (non-biodegradeable) instead of the non generic originals which are made with the better ingredient corn starch! ## Thank you for providing that information, these do seem to be very new, as I can't find a listing for this marking anywhere. While Buprenorphine is most commonly used to treat addiction, it can also be used to treat some cases of severe pain, in which other medications have stopped helping or faile...

They also have a text service that you can use by sending your zipcode to 435748 (HELP4U). The FDA does warn that Subutex carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. So there's a new kind of SUBOXONE out and it's called SUBLOCADE. It's a once a month injection done by a medical professional that lasts ALL month. So no more having to take it sublingually (under the tongue) daily anymore. I just found out about this last week and was wanting anyone's input about it. I don't know how I feel about it. What if it doesn't work ALL month and on week 3 you start feeling like s***? Can you go back to the doctor and get another shot or will they just give you a couple sublingual suboxone to make it through till the next week? I guess it's a pretty big dissolvable thing that slowly releases about 2mg a day into your bloodstream. Once again, I'm not sure how i feel about that. What if something happens and it ALL gets released at...
I have been on methadone for approx 3 months. I'm on 55mgs. I recently heard that suboxone was a much better way of life as an individual coming off opiates (suboxone gives more energy, more focused, kills cravings even when leaving your system) so I, like an idiot, bought 4 of these generic suboxone orange pills, thinking I could convert myself. The night I bought the pills I had taken my dose of methadone around 9am. I took half an orange pill, let it dissolve under my tongue around 9pm. I had a slight stomach ache then fell asleep. The next day I figured the methadone was fully out of my body & I took a whole pill and a half. By 9:30 I broke out in cold sweats. I tried sitting at my desk and began feeling terrible leg and joint pains. I was scheduled for work that day and had...
