I tested positive on a drug screen while on probation for suboxone. It was a specific test using one dip stick. It was sent off to a lab to do a 12 panel test. Will the lab also specifically test for suboxone? Ive looked this up online and found results that the lab test does NOT test for suboxone. Is this true? Could someone please advise me , as I have a BIG PROBLEM. I'm suffering from Central Pain SYNDROME following a severe STROKE in 2006 . I was tried on several drugs, but methadone @ 150mg daily is what I've been on for years, which totally destroyed my teeth . In November of 2015, I was told by Pain Management, that because of new federal guidelines that my MME-morphine equivalent MUST BE MUCH LOWER . They started reducing my daily level at that time .Now, 6 months later, I'm now at 20 mg, tomorrow, I go on 15 mg daily, after being on 20 for the last week. Hi everyone! My friend is on suboxone and once in a while she has a couple. (2) glasses of wine. Is this going to harm her? I know you're not supposed to drink alcohol while on suboxone and I told her that. But, she has been doing it for awhile. She takes her suboxone in the early morning and has wine in the afternoon. Besides, wouldn't alcohol come up in lab work? Then again, she won't drink wine a week before her Dr. Appt. What do you people think about this? ## Bella, I asked my sub dr. one time about this. I have what i was told was suboxone, the white ones with 155 on it which i have never taken before, but i looked it up and they do exist. But i see no marks or numbers at all. And they taste like lemon. Did i get screwed? ## No you didnt get screwed. I am applying for a job at a large hospital and will undergo a drug test prior to employment (and during). I take suboxone and it has helped me a lot although I don't have a valid prescription for it. I have been told that suboxone testing is very expensive and almost if not completely a scam because a doctor I know sent a suboxone specific drug test to PHARMA while the patient wasn't on suboxone and the results said suboxone was in the persons system and then charged the Doctor something like $350 dollars. My Methadone dose increase was stopped by my counselor at 85 ml. I'm on week 5 fresh off Fentanyl and Hydromorphone. The crazy thing is my counselor looked pleased that she stopped my dose as if she caught a drug addict trying to use drugs lol??? Please help - Can I get Methadone in Mexico with a Canadian script? Anyone know? ## From my research, it appears that Methadone is illegal in Mexico. They only allow it to be used in certain extreme cases, where no other pain relief works, for AIDs patients. I'm having surgery for knee replacement and this is the first time I've had surgery and general anaesthetic while on methadone. I started seeing a new suboxone doctor this past month. I have Medicaid so the doctor said they would submit my prior auth for my meds to be covered and they kept saying they did but they never did. So I ended up paying all together this past month 800$ for my meds and such. Then finally somebody in my drs office submits the prior auth. I have been taking 30mg a day of methadone for 6 weeks and wanted to switch to percocet and changed script now take 45mg of percocet a day. How long will it take for me to stop having withdrawls symptoms from methadone? I am feeling sick even while I am taking the percocet. Is it possible to still go through methadone withdrawls even while you are taking the percocet? ## You should not be switching from methadone to percocet which is very addictive also.
