PLEASE ANSWER. I am in the program, take my Subs, and stay clean. The only thing I do is consume marijuana. I am going to give a friend a Sub and use his urine for the test. Question is, if I freeze the left over urine with the metabolized Sub next time I test (4 weeks later) will the buprenorphine still show up, or will buprenorphine be un-detectable due to freezing, time frame of freezing, de-thawing, etc.? Nobody seems to know the answer. ## will buprenorphine show up as an opiate on a urine screen the same as a vicodin would iam in a pain management clinic and am supposed to be taking vicodin but like these patches better when tested will it show up as just an opiate or something different? ## I'm in work release and get tested every week they use a 9 panel icup rapid drug test!...

Are the new white small pills with an 8 on one side and an arrow on the other side, subutex 8mg? ## Yes, that does match the description of an 8mg Buprenorphine, sublingual tablet, the generic for Subutex. My daughter stole four of my 8 mlg tablets. Of course she denies it but that's a different story. I have been on subs for years due to an option addiction I had due to a back injury. Anyway, I only take 4 mlg a day. I don't see my dr until wed and now I only have enough to take 2mlg a day. Will this be ok to taper from 4mlg to 2mlg for a few days? ## Did you go through any withdrawal? If so how bad was it? ## If you do so, you may experience some minor withdrawal symptoms due to the sudden drop in dosage, which may include nausea, diarrhea, rebound pain, rebound headache, tremors, sweating, chills, and fever. Ref: Opioid Withdrawal Information Although your symptoms shouldn't be as bad as they would if you stopped taking it entirely. However, the best thing to do would be to...

v ## i have a mother who is addicted to pills last night she took 25 pills and she will not admit to having a problem ## HAVE SOME QUESTIONS MY MOTHERS DOCTOR TOLD HER SHE CAN TAKE METHODONE FOR PAIN IS THAT TRUE ## Yes, Methadone can be used for pain, though it is generally only used when other pain medication options have been exhausted. If she took that many pills, then she definitely has a problem and you should speak to her doctor. ## Yes methadone is a GREAT pill for pain. I have MS and I used it for my pain for a long time..But it does take a while to build up in ur system so they usually start u off on a small amount as first then increase it as it builds up in ur system ## I got these pills marked 2355 and I'm not sure what they're for?

round white pill 54 411 on one side and the other blank ## its an 8mg generic subutex, same as suboxone ## This is a Generic Subutex OPIOD pill used to treat opiod dependence as in heroin addicts, etc. Sort of like Methadone. These pills are very very new as generics and hard to find, they were released by roxane pharmacuticals on october 9th of 2009. They are made with Talc (non-biodegradeable) instead of the non generic originals which are made with the better ingredient corn starch! ## Thank you for providing that information, these do seem to be very new, as I can't find a listing for this marking anywhere. While Buprenorphine is most commonly used to treat addiction, it can also be used to treat some cases of severe pain, in which other medications have stopped helping or faile...

Hi, I am located in Gulf county Florida, on the outskirts of Panama City FL. I am trying to find a Subutex Dr. in Bay or Gulf County FL via virtual or in person that accepts Medicaid. Virtual would be better as I have work. I'm trying to get my children back. Please help. ## The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration has an information website, which includes a link to assistance in finding a treating doctor near you. They also have a text service that you can use by sending your zipcode to 435748 (HELP4U). The FDA does warn that Subutex carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. So there's a new kind of SUBOXONE out and it's called SUBLOCADE. It's a once a month injection done by a medical professional that lasts ALL month. So no more having to take it sublingually (under the tongue) daily anymore. I just found out about this last week and was wanting anyone's input about it. I don't know how I feel about it. What if it doesn't work ALL month and on week 3 you start feeling like s***? Can you go back to the doctor and get another shot or will they just give you a couple sublingual suboxone to make it through till the next week? I guess it's a pretty big dissolvable thing that slowly releases about 2mg a day into your bloodstream. Once again, I'm not sure how i feel about that. What if something happens and it ALL gets released at...

I have been on methadone for approx 3 months. I'm on 55mgs. I recently heard that suboxone was a much better way of life as an individual coming off opiates (suboxone gives more energy, more focused, kills cravings even when leaving your system) so I, like an idiot, bought 4 of these generic suboxone orange pills, thinking I could convert myself. The night I bought the pills I had taken my dose of methadone around 9am. I took half an orange pill, let it dissolve under my tongue around 9pm. I had a slight stomach ache then fell asleep. The next day I figured the methadone was fully out of my body & I took a whole pill and a half. By 9:30 I broke out in cold sweats. I tried sitting at my desk and began feeling terrible leg and joint pains. I was scheduled for work that day and had...

What is a white round pill with 54 above 142 on it? I know nothing about drugs, please inform me about why my son would be taking this without a prescription. ## This tablet contains Methadone 10 mg (NDC 0054-4571). Methadone is a synthetic opioid, used medically as an analgesic, antitussive and a maintenance anti-addictive for use in patients on opioids. Methadone also acts on the opioid receptors and thus produces many of the same effects. Methadone is also used as an analgesic in chronic pain. Inactive Ingredients: - Magnesium Stearate - Cellulose, Microcrystalline - Starch, Corn Ref: DailyMed ## Methadone is used for two purposes that I'm aware of; being weened off of heroin, or for severe pain. ## Is your son under 18? How soon after your last dose of percocet can you take this? I want to stop taking them. ## You have to be in full withdrawal, before taking Suboxone, otherwise it may throw you into dangerous precipitated withdrawals, unless your doctor has instructed you otherwise. I am seeking information on existing or establishing organizations / associations for chronic patients to fight for our rights to live without being in unbearable pain day in and day out. The rapidly increasing limitations and sanctions being made by State and Federal politicians that have no idea what it is like to live with severe chronic pain every waking moment are threatening our rights to pursue life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Politicians and FDA concern is solely for those who misused these medications, not for the 100 million (voting) Americans that need pain medications to minimize the pain that comes with their afflictions. I am willing to invest as much of my time and money as I am able and provide copies of letters and/or emails for people to send to their repres...

Could someone please advise me , as I have a BIG PROBLEM. I'm suffering from Central Pain SYNDROME following a severe STROKE in 2006 . I was tried on several drugs, but methadone @ 150mg daily is what I've been on for years, which totally destroyed my teeth . In November of 2015, I was told by Pain Management, that because of new federal guidelines that my MME-morphine equivalent MUST BE MUCH LOWER . They started reducing my daily level at that time .Now, 6 months later, I'm now at 20 mg, tomorrow, I go on 15 mg daily, after being on 20 for the last week. I go to the pain clinic Friday and I'm not sure what to ask for, as I need 24 hour pain relief . Could anyone with experience please Help . Hi everyone! My friend is on suboxone and once in a while she has a couple. (2) glasses of wine. Is this going to harm her? I know you're not supposed to drink alcohol while on suboxone and I told her that. But, she has been doing it for awhile. She takes her suboxone in the early morning and has wine in the afternoon. Besides, wouldn't alcohol come up in lab work? Then again, she won't drink wine a week before her Dr. Appt. What do you people think about this? ## Bella, I asked my sub dr. one time about this. He said if I was to have a glass of wine with supper or a beer after work, it's not gonna mess me up. If your friend's an alcoholic that would be another matter. You're really not suppose to drink when taking suboxone. It says so in the warning. It says the...
