I take 8 mg of Subutex a day and have been for almost year. If I'm I a car accident or something and have to have surgery will I be screwed? Will there be nothing they can do for the pain? I don't care about getting high at all anymore, but I fear being in pain and not having any option to control it. Does anybody know how a doctor would help me? I was hurt on my job and taken to Emergency Room there they gave me 2 shots of Dilaudid and a Percoset Tablet B4 the Drug Test and about a week later the Urine test people called me and said I was positive for the diluadid and Perco and METHADONE that I did not take!!! what do I do besides dispute it?? ## All you have to have them do it test for metabolites. When it comes to false positives they are possible, so when it comes to figuring out what it actually is they can test your metabolites because the metabolite from methadone can only come from methadone. Same with morphine, it's metabolite can only come from morphine. So if they test for the methadone metabolite and it comes up negative you didn't take it and it came from something else.

Additionally, we are now into the time of year, when shortages of controlled substances almost always occur, due to mandatory manufacturing limits. Once a manufacturer reaches their yearly allotted amount, they can no longer manufacture any new product, until after the new year. Do they make 4mg subutex or the generic form with no markings? Its white with no markings. ## Hi debby, According to the FDA, there are no legitimate prescription drugs (made here in the US) that do NOT contain markings/imprints of any kind. So if it's "supposed to be" a subutex, I personally wouldn't trust whomever told you it was, provided that they live in the US. And even if they got it from another country, there's no honest way to verify the contents of a tablet like this one without getting it analyzed by a lab first. So I'd say it's best to not take this pill until further notice, at least to be on the safe side. I hope this helps!

I've been on methadone now for 2 1/2 years starting at 10 mls going to 110 now at 48. I have been losing my teeth and nails and my bones have been cracking and breaking ( literally ). I am wondering if anyone else has been going through this? ## Has this only been happening since you started taking the methadone? I've honestly never heard of this happening to anyone, but it may also be a good idea to get blood work done to check and see if you may be deficient in any nutrients. I need help, I live in Lafayette, IN, had a urine screen at my pain dr and tested positive for Methadone, which I have never taken. Now my pain dr has banned me from her practice, my family dr has banned me, all of the clinic has red flagged me and I cannot see any dr at this clinic. I am needing help asap....ive been taking suboxone for a while due to taking pills. I have a friend that help me because they was once on pills and seek help for them selfs and they help me to get back on track by suboxone. Im 26 and ive got alot to live and ive got children to raise in a drug free home. They are getting off of them and I need help asap. I have subutex in my system. Today is Saturday and I have to take a drug test Monday. will it show up on a pre employment drug test ## My reply is too late, but in my experience, subs do not pop positive on any paneled urine test. If under prescription, and doctor' scare, it should be covered by HIPPA LAWS protecting your privacy. Good luck!

I finally have an Induction appointment to start Suboxone Treatment. I had an "Orientation" appointment today which is just signing all the papers an learning about Suboxone Treatment. When I was leaving my appointment today, they scheduled me an appointment for tomorrow (Friday) to see the Doctor for Induction at 10:40am. I later called the Suboxone Clinc Office where I was at and asked them how long my appointment should take because my fiancé works so I have to have my brother take me. They told me they couldn't say for sure. I asked them if they could give me an estimate, would it take 1 hour or 2-3 hours? Hi everyone, my doctor put me on methadone after trying many of other pain medications. So far, nothing else has helped. I was in a car accident and have many disc problems in my neck and back. The doctor also put me on oxycodone for break through pain. I'm hoping these medications help. Can anyone give me their advice on how well these medications have worked for them? I'm in an out patient treatment center. And they do drug test in there. They send it out to the lab. So I was wondering do they test for suboxone when it's sent out to the laboratory? Someone please let me know as they are testing me tomorrow. I'm also on probation and they don't test for suboxone and its a 12 panel test is the lab the same kind of test or a more extensive tests?

The white round pill you're describing with a big 7 and small 5 is identified as a Zubsolv tablet containing 5.7 mgs of buprenorphine + 1.4 mgs of naloxone. This medication is basically another brand name for Suboxone used for opioid addiction/dependence. It's listed as being manufactured by a company called Orexo, here in the US. What are opiate inhalers like? What are they given for? ## Hi Olivia, How are you? Upon researching "opiate inhalers" I'm really not finding any specific details outside of nebulized Narcan (Naloxone); which is actually an opioid antagonist used for treating opioid addiction/overdosing and NOT pain. Apparently it works by reversing the effects of opioids. Though regarding "patches", the only one I know of are Fentanyl patches and those are prescribed for severe/chronic pain. Just out of curiosity, where did you hear about opiate inhalers?

I've been on both fentanyl and methadone for 14 years this has been the only combination to keep my pain in check.I only use the done for breakthru pain and it is doing its job.I've tried more pain meds than I can count and I found one that works.just take it right!!! ## Hello, Missylynn! I have been taking pain pills for 7 years. I detoxed myself off Methadone and I almost had a heart attack. I started using when I was 23. I hurt my back, broke my tail bone, then at 25 I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Now at 28, 13 surgeries later I'm addicted. I want my life back. I have had 5 back operations and none of them worked, I am in costant pain 24/7 and have no life. If you are prescribe suboxin and at the pharmacy you use your insurance can your parents find out.. I'm lookin to be descrete as possible and I am still on my parents insurance.. If i use my insurance to pay for my prescription will my parents find out yes or no?
