Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone has ever had problems with the suboxone films? Sometimes, the film will b torn in half when I open the film up, or, it will stick 2 the inside of the package and it breaks off a piece of the film. And, u r stuck trying 2 get them out of the package. I asked my Dr and pharmacist about this, and, they said the manufacturer was working on that problem. I have been on suboxone at 8-12mg per my doc. I needed more like 16 so I switched drs. Now my new doctor upped my dosage and the pharmacy is saying g I should have 11 day supply left. CNt they fill it early if the dosage was increased? I have caresource. Thanks ## Hello, Jackie! How are you? They would need a new prescription from the doctor showing that the dosage was changed, in order to fill it early for you. They can't just take your word for it. I was given a ua test today (January 28-2015) at my new pain management clinic and it tested positive for methadone. I have never even seen that drug let alone taken it. I am taking Cymbalta, trazadone, adderall, and have taken benadryl the last few nights. I also take 800mg ibuprofen about 2-3xs a day and 650 tylenol 2-3xs a day. Can any of those combinations cause that false positive for methadone? I'm just totally dumbfounded about this because I have never ever touched, seen or taken that stuff? I was not even sure what it is used for until the doctor told me!!! Please help me figure this out! They are sending it to the lab for further testing but I am hoping to have some sort of answers as to how it happened in the first place. Thank you anyone who can help me.

I took a couple 8mg Subutex 1 day before my monthly suboxone appointment, when my doctor checks my urine test to be sure it's in my system will the Subutex show up or will my doctor be able to see the Subutex on the Suboxone Urine test? I know he gives me a urine test every month to check for suboxone and any other signs of opiates and benzos but I didn't know if me taking the Subutex will show up in the urine test and my doctor know that I took it. PLEASE someone give me your experience or advice! :( Thank You ## Doc will be looking for naloxene that is antagonist in suboxone....he will know u didn't take suboxone that way... so fess up...and good luck :) ## If he is just using a pee cup to test, you are fine. Listen people here is a definite answer to how long it's in u. Today I failed a drug test at my pain clinic because of box, I was using approx eighth of a 8mg pill once to two times a day for about 6days. Today made the fifth day w/out any and even with drinking lots of water prior to the test I FAILED THE TEST!!! And it's because of all this bull s***) people are claiming this half life crap. I should not have listened to any of it. Further more if you are a person in legal trouble and facing time in jail for this pill you need your head examined. I was wondering if anyone could help me here. I was on a high dose of methadone - 135ml & in total have been on that & now Suboxone & Subutext for a total of 10 years. I've spent the last few years reducing & am now on 2mg of Suboxone & 1.2mg of Subutext. I've actually had to stop reductions as I've been really sick for the last 7 months. I feel nauseous & weak all the time, occasionally throw up & burp up sick all the time. Sometimes I wonder if it could be that I am so low now on my medication, although I know by rights I should have stabilised & be fine. Found on ground at a friends house, just curious. ## I was only able to find one unconfirmed reference that said it could be a 5mg Methadone pill from Canada. You'd have to look into Canadian drug databases to confirm this match however. It is very likely that this pill is manufactured outside of the U.S. since the description does not show up in any of the U.S. drug databases. Another thing you can do is take the pill over to your local pharmacy and see if they have any particular way of testing for ingredients. Bf is past user from 20 plus yrs ago. Started again in '08 and has continued use daily to present. Don't know how to help him & am so Frustrated. He is HIV positive w/catastrophic care with his doc. Doc doesn't know what is going on. Says he wants to stop but doesn't want to compromise his relationship with MD. On Medicare & SSD-can't threaten that. I don't know how to help him. Hi, I have been on oxy's for over a year started out on small dosages now I'm up to 45mg 180 pills every 2 weeks. I want to get help so bad I've lost the person I am. I am not the mother I once was to my children. I know my addiction has affected everyone in my family. When I'm on the pill I'm ok no pains life is great but when I run out its pure hell. Here's my question if I were to go to a rehab center today cause I'm going through withdrawl as I'm out of my medication and not due for a refill till Tuesday. Taking 1.4 zubsolv twice a day can I cut it in half to wean off? ## Hi mark, From what I can tell, it doesn't look like there's a score line on the 1.4mg/5.7mg pill. And because Zubsolv (buprenorphine + naloxone) is composed of two different ingredients that (in theory) could inadvertently be separated if you were to cut it in half, I would recommend contacting your Dr. or local pharmacist to determine if halving the pill makes any difference as far as getting evenly distributed doses of each active ingredient. More often than not it's usually fine cut pills in half that aren't in extended release form, but I just think it's best to play it safe until you get a doctor's opinion or feedback from someone with personal experience. can I take ciprofloxacin hcl 500mg with methadone 5mg ## Were these both prescribed to you? There is nothing to contraindicate their being used together, though you may experience more side effects, such as drowsiness and nausea. Ciprofloxacin is an antibiotic used to treat various types of infections. You can read more on it here: ## I just read a case of someone put on cipro while on 50mg methadone per day and he ended up with a methadone toxicity due to the cipro. There are better, less reactive antibiotics to take if one is on methadone of ANY dose. The guy also ended up with aspiration pneumonia and was placed in ICU. He did pull through but this would be something I wouldn't take a chance with!

Sub seems to really help me, BUT...i heard wds are a nightmare! My dope town has a free 4 mth intense sub program but im debating if taking subs for that long will give me a dependency? Its free requires commitment and a willingness to recover. Im there....but terrified of wd/dependence on sub? Its at holy cross thru pace. Any thots? Ok I just recently started going to a doctor and got on subutex. I took some benzos over the weekend just to calm my nerves. Today is Wednesday, my appointment is Friday afternoon, I need to know if the benzos will be out of my system by then? Please help ASAP!! ## Hi Brittany - what benzo specifically? Diazepam? Depending on your dose there is still a good chance that they would be in your system within 2 days after taking it. Could take a couple of weeks if I'm not mistaken.
