I been tried All Day and then Noticed my pills so is i me or Do these's SUCK? BUTT??? ## Hello, Amanda! How are you? Generic medications are normally manufactured by several different companies to create market competition and help keep prices as low as possible. Which one your pharmacy carries, at any given time, may change, depending on who was offering the cheapest price, at the time they needed to restock their supply. It is the same medication, in the same dosage, just maefaucted by a different company, which in this case is Mylan Pharma...
Hey everyone, I need some help please! I Have been off methadone for 2 months now. I was put on it for severe pain and was a terrible decision to ever go on it in the first place. I have been reading other people's posts and I know people have experienced extremely bad headaches but I have been having headaches where it feels like someone is squeezing my brain plus it feels like my forehead is on fire and it also will feel cold tingling and numb at times. It also moves around on my scalp. just when I think it's getting better the next day it's back. Has anyone experienced this? Does it ever go away? How long did it take to start feeling normal again? I hope this is not permenant! I'm thinking this is caused from neurotransmmiters trying to come back or maybe nerves being...
my doctor is going to switch me from subboxne to fentynl patch will i get sick ## Hello, Mike! How are you? Not if your doctor has you do the switch properly. There should be at least 3 days, between the last time you take the Suboxone and switch to the Fentanyl. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. What dosing instructions have they provided?
Is there a such thing as a 12mg suboxone? ## Hello, Tracy! How are you? Yes, there is 12/3mg dosage available in the film strips. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

Need doc to take me off of suboxone and due to multiple painful issues need opiates in clev. Ohio despite of oarrs ## Hello, Rob! How are you? I'm sorry, but what do you means by oarrs? It might help you get some answers if you clarify. Thanks! ## Translation: Rob is asking where he can obtain opiates. One day Rob you will be asking how to stop using, that time hasn't come yet. Oh well, have fun on the crappy ride down the opiate hill. The bottom really sucks and you seem on the way ## Ohio Automated Rx Reporting System It tracks the filling of narcotics too make sure that the patient isnt Dr. shopping or using multiple pharmacies to get multiple narcotic medications. He's asking for a Dr. who will just take his money and give him a prescription for anything he wants(pays fo...
At my clinic in Michigan the regular doctor is no longer there. He was an addiction medicine specialist and did general practiceprimary care. The new regular doctor is only a pathologist, and stated during my 60 day evaluation today that he hasn't treated anyone in 35 years. My question is is this doctor qualified to be the only doctor treating patients at the methadone clinic? ## Hello, Gumcat! How are you? As long as he has been trained in treating with it, regardless of whether or not he has been practicing for awhile, then yes, he can do so. The laws don't require that the doctor be an addiction specialist, just that they have the proper licenses and have been trained in treating with Methadone. A doctor could have stopped practicing for 50 years, then do the training and go...

Yes, this tablet is manufactured by Teva Pharmaceuticals and they list it as being an 8/2mg generic for Suboxone. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I am stuck at a methadone clinic cause my Dr got in trouble for over scribing . I have 2 slipped discs that why I take methadone 160mgs n have PTSD anxiety so I was given klonipin. I need a psych Dr who will help.me out here in Portland Oregon willing to drive elsewhere if I had to. Pls help! ## Hello, Emily! How are you? I'm sorry about the problems that you're having. However, once you've been to a Methadone clinic and have that in your medical records, you'll have to stick with the clinic. Even if you didn't go for addiction treatment, the clinic treatment is listed in your records and it would be illegal for a regular doctor to prescribe the Methadone for you. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit fo...
Addicted to most opiates. Need a way to function without having to worry about cravings. My last doctor that prescribed me suboxone moved away with no way of contacting him and I want to be off opiates for good ## Hello, Jordan! How are you? You can use the search engine on the website at Suboxone.com click here to search for other doctors in you area that treat with it. It allows you to search by zip code. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. My friend got these pills that he thought were subutex. They are white, three sided, and have no imprint. They are very slightly debossed all the way around the edge on both sides. Any idea if these are some kind of subutex from outside the US? Thanks
Updated in SubutexI just started taking the suboxone...8 mg 3 times a day. I took my first strip. I've taken all three yesterday the last one at around 7 pm. I'm wondering if I take my pill of choice, since I've barely started, will it block it? I was coming off of self medicating myself with methadone for 8 years. I hear that some people get different effects from taking the subs, but it's like taking a super ibuprofen for me. Any info on this would be helpful and I'm a big girl so I only need the facts not the lectures please and thank you. ## Hello, Hazel! How are you? The Buprenorphine in Suboxone has a much stronger hold on your opiate receptors than other narcotics, so it would prevent them from having any effect. That coupled with the Naloxone means that you'd just be wasti...
I'm thinking about taking bentonite clay, but I'm worried it might affect my subutex which I'm taking 8mg/day. I heard bentonite clay can cleanse you're system of marijuana. I don't know if that's true, but it made me worry it might have an affect in the way my body processes subutex or if it will strip it from my receptors and put me into precipitated withdrawal. ## Hello, Sammy! How are you? I didn't find any problems or interactions listed between them, but it's always best to double check with your doctor to be sure. The FDA classifies Subutex as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is ther...
Can I use Watson 385 if I am on Suboxone? I went to pharmacy and n.y. medicad rejected the prescription saying it was interactive with the Suboxone. ## Watson 385 contains 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a narcotic pain reliever. The Suboxone contains Buprhenorphine and Naloxone, the Naloxone neutralizes other opiates to prevent their abuse while you are under treatment with this medication. So, really there is no point in trying to take the other medication while you are on this. Combining them can also cause severe central nervous system depression, which can also be life threatening. have you spoken to your doctor about this? ## This is true u will get very sick and could possibly die mixing these two drugs ## Whoever told you it could kill you to take both l...
I have been on methadone for many years I am at 30mgs a day. Well someone gave me a half of a subutex. Is it safe to take it?I haven't my methadone yet for today. And can u take them together? ## Hello, Spanky! How are you? No, you shouldn't take them so close together, or combine them. Mainly, because it could throw you into precipitated withdrawals. The Buprenorphine in the Subutex takes a much stronger grip on your opiate receptors than most other opiates do, so it can kick it out, causing dangerous withdrawals and it can prevent other opiates from having any effect for several days, after taking it. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mou...
M 924 is Buprenorphine NOT Enalapril....Big difference ## Hello Bruce! How are you? Thanks for pointing this out, you are correct. The 5mg Enalapril tablet manufactured by Wockhardt actually has a W over the 924 on a round, white tablet. The FDA classifies it as an ACE inhibitor and its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension. While the 8mg Buprenorphine tablet manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals has an M over 924 on a round, white tablet. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction. It carries the risk of being habit forming and its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation and dry mouth. Does anyone have any questions I c...
I need methadone proscription I used for 5 years but now I reject from clinic ## I all so wish I never was at a clinic 4 methadone.. I tried subs. that did not work. 4 me.. ## I am very sorry about the problems you guys seem to be having. However, I must inform you that if you were being treated for addiction at a Methadone clinic, a private physician cannot prescribe it for you. Under current law, it would be illegal for them to do so. Thus, a clinic is your only option. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I went to suboxone and i am still in pain. after doc switched me to methadone and back again to suboxone because i couldnt do the methadone she told me this was it. gave me script to begin that day. had last methadone that morning. by the time i picked up mychildren i was going thru horrific withdrawal induced by the subs. and great pain. bi called them for help and an answer to why i was going thru it. they thought i wanted more suboxone! then they said they didnt know why and that i would have to go thru it. by the weekend i was in such desperation i put on a fentanyl patch. took it off 12 hopurs later. i was so deperate. now ive been dropped. this is following me. i am in so much pain. no one will take me for pain management. even with sub i cant function. found out in suboxone info ...
Hi all, I'm desperately seeking advice. I have decided to come off opiates. I had my last little bit at around 1pm today. The problem is, I have two young babies so it's impossible for me to look after them while in bad withdrawals. The only thing I have to help is Suboxone. Can someone tell me the best way to use the Suboxone to stop/ease the withdrawals? I know I will have to suffer to a certain extent and I understand that I have to wait a while before taking my subs but, please give me the best, most painless way to do this, keeping in mind that I have a two year old and a four month old baby boy whom I still have to take care of on my own while doing this. Please help. ## Getting into a rehab program is the best, but I understand your situation. Try using Kratom. There are ...
I have a new pain management doctor I am seeing Friday 7/17/15. I have taken cannabis, suboxone, & most recently buprenorphine/naloxone daily for months now. With the new drug laws here, it's almost a guarantee that they will give me a UA. If I am on Lasix (prescribed) daily and use the Ultimate Gold drink to detox, what is the likelihood of failing the test? If you have any tips for passing this test that is great too. FYI this is a legitimate problem I am experiencing; herniated disks, nerve damage, pinched nerves, degenerative disks, and spinal stenosis aggravated by accidents I have had since 2005. Due to lack of insurance I was unable to get into a doctor regularly so I was forced to get what I could while waiting to get into a pain management clinic. PLEASE HELP!
