I have been on suboxone for 7 years. Tapered down to one strip a day from 3 by myself. I haven't taken any illegal, illicit drugs in 7 years this past May 17th. Worked my ass off to get where I am now. I'm a single father of 2 sons. Custody of my kids. Was friends with my neighbor. 2 days ago saw my neighbor buying suboxone from my ex of all people. Well when I took my son to football last night I dropped my wallet outside my house, ran back home as soon as I noticed and what a surprise. I've been on subutex for pain management for a while now.. My prescribed dose is 3 8mg a day but I only take 1 8mg a day now. June 1st of this year I lost my still born son at 8 months. We named him, held him, took pictures (which I can't bring myself to even look at yet) and have his hat/blanket in a bag (which I keep as a shrine and have yet to be able to open yet either) even had him baptized.. Ever since I have been SUFFERING with severe anxiety/panic attacks and PTSD with two small kids to care for everyday while my husband works until midnight. Last night at 10pm I missed a shot of heroin. And it's 2:19pm the next day. I was planning on taking my sub 18 hours later. I am new to all this bit I have been everyone post on here for days which have been helping me with the suboxone withdrawl. I was only taking 2mg a day so I went down to .50 I think it was way to fast. So I went to 1mg I didn't think my withdrawl was going be that bad but they was. We have a copy of required drug tests for the out of custody parent. She is on a methadone treatment and gets tested at a clinic randomly. Most test results have come back negative but one says "awaiting results". What does that mean? ## Hi Joanna, I can't say for sure exactly what or why the phrase "awaiting results" would be listed on a random drug screening. Is the test result gleamed from a urine sample, cheek swab or blood test? How many substances does the test screen? Could you call the clinic or lab and simply ask what it means? Could be that an item gave a weak positive so it was sent to a lab to test the sample using more intense methods to get a result. Does anyone know if suboxine can be used for pain. i have fibromylgia and have ruptured disks and pinched syacitia nerves. im currently on 3 5mg of loritabs and 3 300mg of neurotin a day for pain mag. but it dosnt really work most days. i tried suboxin one day and it helped my pain much more than my meds. was i imagining it or does it really help. ## Suboxone can help with pain, although it's probably not nearly as potent as other narcotic pain meds. Hi my name is DJ and I'm on a methadone clinic now but they don't give pills or liquid for monthly and my work now travels outta state . ## If you're taking it for addiction treatment, then a private doctor cannot prescribe it to you for such treatment. That can only be done in a clinic setting, by a doctor that is specially trained in addiction treatment. And they are required to give some take homes, but not necessarily a full months worth. I have a quarter piece of subutex and 10 hours ago I took suboxone so is it ok for me to take the subutex? I'm new to suboxone. I was taking about 140mg of hydrocodone for a very long time. Dr prescribed suboxone film 8/2mg twice a day. Has anyone cut the film into smaller doses? For example dose yourself every 4 or 6 hours with a cut piece of film. I have an odd job where I work 12 hour days, i'm concerned of feeling "loopy" at work. Hi,yet another newbie here, hoping i can get some advice on buprenorphine & acid in the urinary tract.Sounds strange but for the last two years whilst being on (bups) I've had terrible pain & have also been suffering from dehydration.I have had bloods & all sorts but my Doctor,(who does not prescribe) bups & indeed is hard pushed to give me anything else,hasn't found anything wrong with me,which is exactly what he intended. Hi my name is Chloe. I have been on a script now for just over a year. was on methadone. But now am on subutex. Im abit worried as you are meant to let subutex dissolve under your tongue. But I have never been able to do that as I gag and throw up. I crunch them with the front of my teeth and swallow very quickly with water. Can this cause me problems coming off subutex or cause me harm inside my tummy? I was on 6mg 3 tablets daily now im on 2mg 1 tablet daily.
