Wanted to say I just came out of precipitated withdrawal! What holy hell! I have been on methadone for 6 years taking 115 mlg daily & got myself down to 50 mlg for 2 weeks, waited more than 72 hours, then took 2mlg suboxone. I was fine. Not better, just not worse. Following my doc's orders, I took another 2mlg 90 mins later. Ok, then took another 2mlg after 90 min and oh my god. Almost instantly threw me into precipitated withdrawal! I have been on suboxone for 2 1/2 years now. And it has saved my life beyond words and imagination! I have a life now! I am happy as can be! Since my son started taking suboxone, he has developed hatred for me. We have always been very close, but now he is verbally abusive. It is only when he takes the drug. I should add, he sometimes drinks beer while on it. Has anyone else experienced this? ## He's taking too much !! I've felt the exact same way when taking more than 12mg. I'm on 6mg and feel great. I took 4mg of sub's at midnight and another 4 at 8am. This is the first time I've taken it in several months.
