I have been taking suboxone for a couple months to get off other opioids. I've not been prescribed it thus far. What do I tell the doctor? ## Hello, Jenny! How are you? You should be honest with him, that way he knows what's going on and how to handle it as safely as possible for you. I understand it may be embarrassing, but the doctor has already heard far worse from other patients and he's used to dealing with this sort of thing. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have one AN 415 pill. My opiate habit isn't that bad but I would like to know when should I take it? I don't want to use opiates anymore. I'm sick of it. I detoxed myself for about 4 days then started again. It's been about 2 weeks... ## You have to be in full withdrawal, before you can take Suboxone, unless your doctor instructs you otherwise, because it may throw you into dangerous precipitated withdrawals. I took two tests the same day, a mouth swab that was positive for opioids and methadone. I am on methadone and tramadol. Anyway I asked to do a urine test to show the opioids were not heroin, and the test showed no methadone but yes to heroin. How can it say no to methadone when it was positive in a mouth swab and how can i be positive for heroin when I only took tramadol and codeine? This is my first failed test in over six months and do not understand why they said different things. Any advice will be great as I am fighting to keep my baby and script for methadone.

I know that I should never stop anythin suddenly. I have been unable to find asome out of the physician to supervise the withdrawal from anything. I have to take 80 milligrams of methadone a day it makes me drowsy and I Drive a lot how can i neutralize the drowsy effect or can i at all ## Hello, JB! How are you? You really can't. How long have you been on it? Side effects, such as this, usually wear off and go away, after about 4 to 5 weeks, once your body gets used to a medication. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## They say that just a mouthful of wine and hour before can help, i know that sounds crazy but also the best way ive found to stop the effects is simply to take half a valium the night before, this causes the liver to burn off the methadone much faster...

will suboxone block out dianabol ## The Naloxone in Suboxone only neutralizes opiates, to help prevent someone abusing them while they are under treatment with it. Learn more Suboxone details here. So it has not effect on other medications or substances. Anabolic steroids are very dangerous, I can't tell you what you should or shouldn't do, but I do urge you to proceed with caution. Are there any other questions? ## Does steroid 4 milligram and suboxin 8 milligrams mix well?

I currently lost my medicaid and am needing help to pay for my suboxone and Dr visit if possible. ## Hello, Rhonda! How are you? I'm sorry, I don't know of any programs that will help with the doctor's visit, however, there is an assistance program for uninsured people to help them get or remain on Suboxone. You can call for more information on how to apply and the requirements, the number is 876-973-HERE. How long do I have to wait to take my roxy after only taken two subs got two days ## @Shelly, Based on feedback I've seen in other related discussion threads, it's probably a good idea to wait at least a few days until the suboxone is out of your body and you're in a state of withdrawals. This is because if you were to take the roxy (oxycodone) too soon, chances are that you may not even feel its effects. I know everyone is different though when it comes to these meds and a few days is really just a rough estimate.. So if you're able to I'd still encourage you to talk with your doctor about this first. Does anyone else have advice to add from personal experience? ## I have done this several times in the past, I narrowed it down to 12 hours since you took your last su...

i was geting methadone 10 mg at a clenic then got medacare couldnt go back to clenic now no doctor will give it to me also smoke pot reno nv ## It sounds to me like none of the doctors/clinics you're going to are accepting medicare. I would just suggest visiting your local Human Resource Department; as they should be able to link you up with a directory full of local physicians who are accepting that type of insurance. Otherwise there would be no need for Medicare if no doctors ever accepted it. You could also ask the doctors/clinics that you already visited, for a referral to a new physician. That way they can also transfer all of your medical records at the same time. I hope this helps! ## Medicare should cover methadone maintenance, plus they have $ pay as you dose policy, wich i...

I take the max dose of suboxone 8-3 3times a day with out much pain or anxiety relief. Is subutex better and is it ok for me to ask my doc to switch ## Hello again, Lorcos! The difference is that Suboxone contains Buprenorphine and Naloxone, while Subutex only contains the Buprenorphine. And under current DEA directives, unless someone has a serious allergy to the Naloxone, they must be prescribed Suboxone and Subutex is to be reserved for pregnant women. I am interested in a pharmacy discount card. I am getting off of opiates with suboxone. It is costing as much, if not more than drugs I was originally prescribed. I really want to be free of this, but am afraid every week that I may not be able to get my script filled. ## Hello, Richard! How are you? Since starting zubsolv yesterday, I can't taste anything. Is this normal? ## Hello, Nurse! How are you? Yes, this has been reported by other users of this medication. As listed by the FDA, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. This medication also carries the risk of being habit forming. However, such side effects are usually transient and tend to go away with time, after your body gets used to the medication. It usually takes about 4 to 6 weeks. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Is there anything that can be done about this problem. As for dry mouth I have tried everything on the market when I was on Ribavirin and Interferon treatment to no avail .It did stop when treatment was ended.

I have been going to methadone clinic for over a year and I've taken pain reliever the whole time every night and never failed for benzos. The last two times I've taken it I've shown positive for benzodiazepenes. Why is it just now doing that? ## Hi Brittany, hope you're doing well. Can you post exactly what the brand or store name of the over the counter PMS pain reliever you are taking? There are a number of different ones so if you can list the brand name it should be possible to look up the active ingredients and see if any of those could cause a failed result during a lab test.

I have been addicted to oxy for almost a decade. My wife just had a baby about a year ago and I want to get off of these horrible things. I am completely out of oxy and I have an appointment to see a doctor in about a week but I was able to get a few Suboxone. I'm trying to find out how long I have to wait between my last oxy and taking the Suboxone. I am the sole provider in my family and I have to go to work tomorrow so I'm trying to make the withdrawal process as short as possible. I have been taking 100 mg of oxy a day. Can I take celebrex, decaadron, beneadryl, emend, propofol, versed and fentanyl, just for one day with 40mg if methadone ## The Fentanyl and Methadone can both increase the amounts of each other that you absorb, so it would be best not to mix them, unless your doctor approves. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. There are also several issues among the others with the Fentanyl and Methadone, because many of them can cause sedation, which could be too much for some people.
