I have been on opiates for years and ran out of my meds and waited 36 hrs and felt withdraws then I took a 5.7 zubsolv, how long do I have to wait now to be able to take a Norco again? ## Hello, April! Which Side Of The Suboxone Do I Put On My Tounge? tHE SIDE WITH THE N8 ON IT OR THE SMOOTH SIDE ## It doesn,t matter and you puy it under your tounge and close your mouth and sit quietly for about 5 minutes while it desolves after that don,t eat drik or smoke for another 5 minutes according to my doctor. There are veins under the tounge that they disolve into. Like I said, sub. dr. told me this. ## That's correct, since the whole thing is specially designed to dissolve sublingually, it doesn't matter which side faces the tongue. Are there any other comments or questions? ## You do NOT put the Suboxone ON your tongue, like you said. You put the Suboxone tablet UNDER your tongue and let it melt. Hi my name is Lisa. I posted a question a few months ago and I stumbled upon some answers and now I can't find the link. I live on long Island and have been prescribed methadone for over 8 years from my pcp but due to all the drs getting in trouble he will no longer let the pa write it for me. It's for pain and I'm having a terrible time trying to find a dr to write it. I have all my records so that's not a problem. If there is anyone out there that can help me I would greatly appreciate it.

I take half a valium to help me unwind at night and get sleep. Have to do a urine and really want to know if puttin some in urine will show up as if ive takin it? I'm 8 months pregnant today. I have a history of migraines and went to an ER that was close. I had taken one methadone about a week ago. I don't normally take pain meds or methadone. I just did that one time because I was in so much unbearable pain (I was in a wreck a year and a half ago). They ended up telling my baby's doctor and he reported it to CPS. I live in Alabama and I'm scared I'm going to lose my child because of this. i took three doses of methadone to taper down from from opiates. day one: 25 mg, day two: 20 mg, day three: 15 mg it has been 50 hours since i have taken any methadone and dont plan on taking anymore. im feeling fine except not sleeping, so my main question is with the amount of methadone i have in me which at a 50% half life i should be at 7.5mg or less ... will it be safe to take .50mg of xanax to sleep? i just read a lot of bad things about this, my gut says the reason bad things happen are when people are abusing the two. I did hydrocodone and oxycodone for a year and found out I was pregnant so my doctor gave me 2 suboxone strips. I have been cutting the 8mg/2mg strips into 8 pieces and taking one piece a day. I want to stop everything but anytime i don't do anything at all I feel terrible and restless. Question is... What can I do to stop the wd symptoms? Or should I just take my dose for the day? I have spinal fusions due to fractures,"failed back syndrome " and deal with pain most of the time. My beloved Dr.a specialist is retiring and it is like losing a family member. Because my primary care physician and hospital turned their backs on me for pain control. I currently use suboxone for pain control and cannot find another Doctor.

I've been taking suboxone for2 days now and I'm still sick. I was on fentanyl 75. Can I put back my patch to get rid of this withdrawal? ## I'm not a doctor but I would say if you've only been taking it a few days to stop taking the suboxone and get back on the fen patch. You may not feel it like you used too, bc Suboxone blocks the effects of euphoria from regular narcotics because its used a lot for people who are addicted to opiates, such as pain patches. I think you will have little to no withdrawal if you start back on the pain patch because the body stil recognizes the Suboxone as an opiate and the patch is obviously an opitate, too, just without the Naloxone and Bupernorine. I live in Indiana and go to an Ohio doctor that accepts Indiana hip, but I cannot find a pharmacy in indiana that will fill out-of-state prescriptions. ## I live in indiana but go to Ohio to see the dr.. I am in the suboxone program. My Dr takes Indiana HIP. I am having trouble finding a pharmacy that will fill an out of state prescription. I am new in pain management. My dr gave me a script for oxycodone and said that they will be testing to make sure the medicine is in my system and to Make sure I'm not taking any street drugs. I ran out of my Oxys and was In bad pain and getting withdrawals so I took methadone on Saturday 1/31/15, the next day and my last on Monday feb 2. Between 1/31/16-2/2/15 I took maybe about 10 10mg methadones on Monday February 2nd I had taken my last two because I was able to get Oxys. I go back to my dr and get a urine test on February 10th. Will the methadone be out of my system by then?? ## That much methadone could take up to 6 days to leave your urine as long as it's been 6 or more days your fine.
